*** BEACHHOUSE CERTIFIED *****
The owners of BeachHouse, stayed at this villa in June of 2017. *It was a lovely, comfortable home. We felt like royalty just by saying we were staying at Villa Fairview. The community has a great respect for this property, many saying it is one of the best places to stay on the island.*
The villa is situated at the end of a spacious *private* plateau allowing complete privacy and a wonderful view on both sides of the villa. The porch offers a magnificent view of the picturesque village Windwardside and Mount Scenary (887 mtr, 3000' above sea level), the highest point in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The pool deck with Gazebo and Hottub offers a phenomenal view of a large part of Saba and the infinite Caribbean Sea. This fully walled pool deck offers 100% privacy. The villa can be reached through a private drive.
In the basement, under the house is our Rainforest Room, a large loft of 60m2 (600 sf). This loft has its own bathroom, terrace, living area, closet etc.

This smallest island of the Dutch Antilles is a 10-minute flight away from St. Maarten and St. Barth. St. Maarten is reachable by direct flights from Amsterdam, Paris, New York, Boston, Miami, Dallas and Toronto.

The island largely consists of the Mounts Scenery. At 870 metres, 2800' above sea level, this mountain is the highest point in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Dense vegetation with a variety of species cover the summit and upper slopes.
Both English and Dutch are spoken on the island. Despite its Dutch affiliation, English is the principal language spoken on the island. Saba is especially known for its ecotourism, having exceptional scuba diving, climbing and hiking. Saba is one of the best diving spots in the world and offers sites suitable for any diver’s level of experience. Divers will experience an amazing underwater world, with amongst others schools of tropical fish, healthy coral, sponges of all sizes and pelagic creatures.
The Saba National Marine Park was established in 1987 with the objective to preserve and manage Saba’s marine resources. The Saba Marine Park was not developed to repair a damaged environment but rather to ensure the continued quality of an extraordinary resource for the benefit and enjoyment of everyone. The Saba Marine Park circles the entire island from the high-water mark to a depth of 60 m (200 feet), including the seabed and overlying waters. A system of permanent mooring buoys facilitates diving and prevents damage to corals. One of the few self-sustaining marine parks anywhere in the world, the Saba Marine Park raises revenue through visitor fees, souvenir sales, and donations.
