As you step into the living room, admire breathtaking views beyond the two-story wall of picture windows. Whether you wander to the kitchen, dining room, or loft, you can marvel at the pristine lake—the view changes depending on the weather and time of day. Notice the alpenglow—German for the rosy light of the setting or rising sun seen on high mountains.

Unwind in the living area next to a terrific stacked stone gas fireplace. Comfy seating invites you to sink in and let your everyday cares drift away. The living room and lovely views flow into the adjacent kitchen and dining area.

The fully equipped kitchen includes custom cabinets, granite counter tops, and new appliances including a double oven. Edgecliff is close to Tahoe City and all north Lake Tahoe offers is right at your doorstep!
In warmer weather, Tahoe City boasts beautiful beaches, a lakefront bike path, and outfitters with stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, sailboats, and jet skis to explore the lake. Boaters may take advantage of the full-service Tahoe City Marina and boats can put in or take out just down the road at the Lake Forest Boat Ramp. Enjoy a round at the Tahoe City Golf Course or traverse the many stunning hikes and backcountry meadows.

When the snow falls, visitors can enjoy scenic Nordic skiing, sledding, and snowshoeing within town limits at Tahoe XC and at the new Tahoe City Winter Sports Park.

You're also close to two great ski resorts—Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley. After taking on the slopes, take the kids tubing or try out the mini snowmobiles at SnoVentures Activity Zone. Whether you prefer to ski, snowboard, or take a dog sledding tour, Squaw Valley is a great place to create lasting memories.

Year round, the Village at Squaw Valley offers dining, shopping, the Squaw Valley Aerial Tram, and a variety of activities.

In the summer, ride the Aerial Tram to High Camp then walk or hike along one of the scenic trails in one of the most breathtaking places in the world! At 8,200 feet elevation, admire the beauty of the Sierra Nevada Mountains with views of Lake Tahoe and Squaw Valley's legendary granite peaks. In the Aerial Tram building lobby, kids and grownups can have a blast climbing the variety of routes on the 30’ simulated Headwall Climbing Wall, then head over to try a somersault at Sky Jump.

"Winter Wonderfulan
It was a nice home, easy to access, plenty of space and a well stocked kitchen. Location is great."

"Amazing cabin for 2 families
Our group of 4 adults 4 kids had a perfect time here, where one family was upstairs and the other downstairs. Great house and the views are stunning."

" "Mixed Experience: Location and View Great, but Deficiencies Imp
I have some concerns about my recent reservation and stay. While the location and view of the place were great, there were a number of issues that affected our overall experience, particularly with kids in tow.

Firstly, the accommodation only had 2 bathrooms, and both of them had very poor shower heads. This made showering, especially for the children, a rather unpleasant experience. It would be really beneficial if the shower heads could be replaced with ones that provide a better water flow.

Moreover, the condition of the beds was disappointing. Sleeping on them for more than 2 days resulted in discomfort and potential back pain. This aspect definitely needs improvement, as it significantly impacts the quality of rest during the stay.

The lack of air conditioning was another downside, particularly on the hotter days. While I reached out to the management regarding this, their response was that the house is not equipped with air conditioning, only heating for the winter. They suggested using the fans, but unfortunately, only 3 of them were functional.

In terms of cleanliness, I found it to be only average. Given the price I paid for the stay, I was expecting a higher level of cleanliness and maintenance.

Taking everything into account, I feel that the price I paid and the service I received were not in alignment. I want to emphasize that this feedback is based on my honest opinion and experience. I believe that improvements in these areas would greatly enhance the overall quality of the rental.

I kindly request the owner to consider changing the shower heads in both bathrooms to provide a better bathing experience for guests. While the location and view are definite strengths of the property, addressing these concerns would make it a much more enjoyable place to stay."

"Great Deck/View
The Edgecliff house is easy and basic --- nothing fancy, but met all our needs. The outdoor deck is just ideal with nice sun and great views. The beds need some upgrading. We swept the outdoor stairs, and a little more general outdoor maintenance could have been done -- pine needles and a couple of discarded water bottles could be seen on the roof out the small window halfway up the stairs."

"Beautiful Place - Bummed about new HOA Amenities rules
The house was gorgeous! A rustic cabin feel with beautiful glass windows and view out toward the lake. There was an unprecedented heat wave while we were there that made things a bit more uncomfortable temperature wise, but we were thankful the owner had loads of fans in the closets so we could use them around the house to cool people off at night. Washer and dryer worked great, kitchen had everything we needed pretty much and the grill was great for cooking out. Our one issue we had was that based on the reviews on of the property we were expecting to be able to use the community tennis courts, private beach, pool, and more... however that was not the case. This is not the fault of the owners by any means, the HOA had just voted to revoke all guest privileges for the neighborhood amenities. Which frankly, really sucked. We could no longer walk to a beach or pool or anywhere really. Closest beach or shop to walk to was the state park (about an hour walk) or the 7-11 (25 minute walk). So if you are looking for walkable convenience for your big family to not have to pile into the car anytime you want to go somewhere, this is not the place for you. Again, this is not the fault of the owner, but I feel definitely should be reflected on the price for the rental. There is a clause in the home description that they are not responsible for changes to amenity access due to HOA changes, as its out of their control, which I totally understand... but it made for a very different trip than we were planning on when we tried to get into the beach the first day and were denied. Ah well, this stuff happens. Just wish we'd known in advance so we could have managed expectations or gone somewhere else... but hey that's life. Overall we still had a good experience driving to beaches and driving to local coffee shops and elsewhere... it was just a lot more in and out of the car and driving than we had wanted. Great place overall, some old windows and screen seals need updating tho"

"A comfortable home with a nice view
We enjoyed our stay at the Edgecliff house, the views from the deck were lovely and the home fit our family of nine quite comfortably. The home was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. A few things I wish I would have known: you can see the lake from the house but to get to a nice beach you need to drive. There is no public beach within walking distance. This home is on the North Shore and because the water is low many of the beaches close by are very rocky and not ideal for swimming. Skylandia beach was the closest nice beach that wasn't a zoo. Kings beach was a zoo. If you plan to do a lot of cooking bring your own knives and non stick pans. There were no sharp knives and only one tiny non stick pan. If you drink wine and don't want to use plastic wine glasses bring your own glasses. The house came with two days worth of dish soap so bring that too. And be warned there is no AC. The upstairs got very warm. On the upside when I told the host they had two broken fans they sent someone over immediately with replacements. That was impressive to us. Overall it was a lovely stay, not quite what we had hoped and expected but we made amazing memories! Be sure to go across the street and hike around the reservoir. You may even spot a bear! "

"What’s there to complain about?
Our stay was Amazing! Although it was a little tight for us 10 but we made the most out of it! There’s a street right in front of the house that goes downhill, we made up our own hill rink! The neighbors brought the kids out and boy did we enjoy it. We had a problem with the trash due to the bear can bring small but it turned out ok since we were instructed to tightly leave the bags in the garage. The house was clean, cozy and my family enjoyed every moment and minute we had at the airbnb. "

"Stay review.
The house is beautiful and cozy. The kitchen have everything for cooking and silverwares. The location of the place is 7 mins away from safeway which very convenient. The view is amazing during sunrise too. The only bad review I can say is the rooms were not properly. We found a dirty sock under one of the beds. The other bed had a strand of hair. "

"Great vacation
Great location and great views. One of the best rentals we had in years in Tahoe area.
It would be great if the beds were upgraded and some spider webs on outside patio removed. Rest it was a great house and highly recommend it."

"Disappointing at best
In summary - after over 50 Airbnb stays between my partner and I, in over 12 different countries, this has been the worst host I’ve ever interacted with. Trent uses this platform to capitalize on its loyal customers and scams them by locking them into predatory house rules that are absolutely against anything Airbnb stands for. If you can, make sure to book with Tahoe Luxury Rentals instead. For the same price, you will get a peaceful and enjoyable vacation. If you have no other choice but to book with him, before booking, make sure to get your lawyer to review the house rules (they will certainly tell you that they are predatory and that you should not move forward with this booking). For those of you who, like me, don’t have the luxury of having a lawyer, I took the liberty to highlight some.

- No emotional support animals under any condition: We had a veteran in our group with an emotional support animal. Before booking, I reached out asking clarification around this rule since Aubrey is not a pet but an emotional support animal for a decorated veteran. His response? “You are confirmed for this booking WITHOUT ANY ANIMALS”. For reference, this is strictly against Airbnb’s policy of not discriminating against those in need of an emotional support animal. This should have been my first sign that he has no regard for any of Airbnb’s policies. Alas, we didn’t want any trouble so we decided to let it go.
- High-speed internet: we extended our vacation from a weekend to Wed-Sun because we relied on the fact that we can work from home Thursday and Friday. The internet did not work on arrival and when I contacted Trent to ask for help fixing it, he responded that he “is not a technology company”. He also mentioned that if we have more than 5 devices connected to the internet, “you shouldn’t expect it to work well”. In today’s world, a house for 10 people should"

"305 Edgecliff
Overall a pretty average experience. The views were wonderful, the place was very clean, but for the price I expected more than I got. All the beds were extremely cheap and saggy, there is a leaky bathtub on the second floor, the gas stove barely works and is dangerous when it lights up eventually"

"Great vacation property and location.
Everything was great. However, it would be helpful to have instructions on using the TV remotes. There are three remotes, one for the fireplace and two for the TV. It took a half hour of trial and error to get the TV working."
Sep 06, 2018 - Jim D., Henrico, VA

"EDGECLIFF
Everything was fine except the beds. The mattresses need to be replaced. Very uncomfortable. Some furniture was dated. We didn't watch TV, but flat screen tv's would be nice. Nice location and HOA was great. Home was clean and well stocked. "

"Great summer rental
We booked the Edgecliff house right before Labor Day and had a wonderful stay. The house is in a very good location and gets nice light in the big windows and on the deck. The Dollar Point Beach area was a pleasant surprise- it was great for the kids and we loved having lounge chairs and umbrellas to enjoy. We did not end up using the pool or tennis, but it looked great. The house is fairly well appointed for a rental, but could use a few minor things- like hooks to hang towels, and hangers in the closets. The main thing that would make the rental really top notch is if the owner invested in updating the bedding and some of the furniture. The sheets were ok, but the blankets and coverlets were old and dingy. However, overall the house was very clean."
Sep 05, 2017 - Reynolds M., Bend, OR

"Summer 2017
Loved the views. Clean, comfortable. Great for our family. Booking process, check-in and out process was very easy. "
Jul 09, 2017 - Alexander H., dallas, TX

"Amazing management
The rental was good but first accommodations made it great! Very personable and just want to make sure you enjoy yourself. "
Feb 06, 2017 - Steven H., Livermore, CA

"Another Summer Vacatuin at Lake Tahoe
This house feels like home to us when we walk in the door. It is always clean and tidy. It has everything we need in a home away from home. The neighborhood is quiet, the views beautiful. "
Sep 18, 2016 - Shari G., Butte City, CA

"A week at Dollar Point
The location is central for our interests which are: a pool and dock for kids, close to Tahoe City and N Tahoe Park and beach in King's Beach, Incline Village and, of course, pii-wee golf."
Aug 16, 2016 - William L., Seattle, WA

"Great amenities
Great location and amenities. Access to the pool and beach were fantastic. The house itself could use some sprucing up. It looks well used. Not all of the remotes worked and the fireplace wasn't worth the work it took to figure it out. Overall it was a good place to stay but could be a great place to stay if more effort was put in to make sure the property is kept up and the small conveniences are in working order. "
Jul 19, 2016 - , Rathdrum, ID

"Quiet and Relaxing
Property was as described- Beautiful view of the lake. Plenty of room and clean! "
Jun 09, 2016 - Mark W., Sacramento, CA

"Beautiful Home with a nice view of lake
Stayed here for 2 nights. There were 10 of us here and house was spacious and clean. Beautiful deck outside and view of lake. Will definitely come back and stay here. "

"Cozy Get-Away
My family had a lovely time vacationing here in January. Loved waking up to the view of lake tahoe with fresh snow on the ground. Very convenient location to town and ski resorts (we went to Homewood)"
Feb 02, 2016 - steffanie m., Belmont, CA

"Very nice stay
super easy to maintain kind of cabin, very kid friendly, well located and very nice view. kitchen stocked with everything you need (expect scissors- couldn't find any). Room are nice but bedding is a little poor and the covers and sheets not super quality which I think is important, especially for winter time.
Great communication with rental place as the coffee maker broke during our stay and was replaced instantly, same goes for the food disposal which misbehaved and taken care of the same day as well.
Overall, super nice place to stay, will definitely come back. "

"Average
Nice location. Needs updating. Older furnishings, linens, etc. We have rented many homes. This was the first one that did not meet our expectations. Just ok. "

"305 Edgecliff
Rental was acceptable but not anything special. Beds were ok, but not great. Lots of noise from 2nd floor down to first floor. Fold out couch in loft was not comfortable at all. Would only recommend for 8. When renting didn't realize how far away beach access and pool access was. No good description/map provided to either location but figured out anyway.Otherwise, acceptable rental."

"305 Edgecliff,vacation dates 7/18-7/25
Loved the house, beautiful setting. Great price for the lakefront view, would book again !!
Trent and Cynthia great to deal with, had issue with torn sheets, did bring over new set and extra dish towels, very accommodating. Just several suggestions...... need new shower curtains in upstairs bath, heavier to keep water out, new sheets for all beds, were not able to get fireplace started, didn't know if a battery issue, son in law read manual, and he is very adept in "how to"s". One light out in upstairs bath, tub area."

"4th of July in Tahoe City
We traveled to Lake Tahoe for our 3rd summer vacation and brought some friends along. Dollar Point is a beautiful community and the homes are really spectacular. The view from the porch was beautiful, the home was spacious and the furnishings were very comfortable. The home was everything the web said it to be. The kitchen was well appointed and it made cooking for 7 an easy task. We enjoyed Tahoe City's 4th of July fireworks display and as a special treat we were able to see South Lakes's display too.
The beach at Dollar Point was disappointing. I blame this on the drought that CA has been experiencing. Due to the extremely low water level, it was rocky and slimy. Nobody's fault but Mother Nature but this made us have to venture out driving for a beach every day. The refrigerator clunked out on us during our stay. The garage had another which was a life saver and the management company sent someone right out to repair it. The only negative thing that I could comment on was the moldy shower curtain in the 2nd floor bathroom. That definitely needs to be changed out along with a few light bulbs.
Overall we had a very pleasant experience here. I would recommend this home to anyone who enjoys a cozy atmosphere with a beautiful view.

"Amazing and Relaxing
The family really loved the location and the home in itself is wonderful. The views are breathtaking! We love the wrap around deck as is great for barbeques! Love that their is a private beach for the community as well! We will be back for sure. The only thing I can say it lacked was a TV in the master bedroom..."

"Very nice lakeview house
The house was beautiful with a nice lakeview. We love the open space with the loft on the second floor. You can have a v very nice view of lake tahoe in the morning. The kitchen has everything you need. "

"Great view, comfortable home, nice vacation
The house was very clean and confortable inside. It was nice that the carpets were shampooed before our arrival, but it was not nice that they were still VERY damp until the next morning. We couldnt put any of our bags on the carpet or even wear socks around most of the house due to the dampness. Other than that, the house was great, with fully stocked kitchen supplies, clean bathrooms, and bathroom supplies. The view of the lake was also spectacular. Getting to the lake definitely requires a car, and unfortunately the sand on the beach is more like roadbase. The house had some inflatable donuts, but i found all of them pretty much could not hold air and got soft rather quick. There was a raft but i never bothered with it since it had water inside the air chamber. Be warned the beach can get very windy so dont bother bringing your own beach unbrellas. The pool is more walkable and is clean with lifegaurds on staff. The tennis courts looked very nice as well. Minor things I would fix/change are to make sure the porch light works(timer battery was dead), change the toilet roll holder to securely hold the roll (instead of falling off every time you got a piece), have a small nightlight near the first step on the upper part of the staircase, and change at least the upper bathroom showerhead to be a wand-type head make it easier to shower/wash small children/babies. Wifi works well in the house on the first floor but the signal near the back and upstairs was rather weak. Also cell service can be spotty so plan on communicating with your group by email or voip as a backup."

"Perfect Dollar Point Home
We love this home! This was close to our tenth year renting this home. Great kitchen, living area, windows facing the lake, and a fabulous deck. It is also easy for seniors who prefer single floor living as there are two bedrooms on first floor."
Jul 29, 2014 - , Pleasanton, CA

"Replace the furniture
The furniture needs replaced there was not a good chair other than the rocker and the dining room set in the house. A Sofa and Love seat and a chair would be all it takes to make this a first class rental property. Now it is not acceptable"

"Perfect Tahoe Getaway
We had a wonderful week at 305 Edgecliff in Dollar Point and our family really enjoyed the HOA amenities especially the pool and tennis. The house is conveniently located and has fantastic views of the lake. The only complaint was that the beds could have
been more comfortable. Otherwise a perfect vacation! :) Thanks, WG. "
Sep 08, 2011 - Wayne G., San Francisco, CA

"Fabulous location, nice house, could use some updating
You can't beat the location or access to the beach. The house was comfortable and has wonderful views of the lake. The house furnishings could certainly use updating and things need to be throughly cleaned: kitchen items were dirty, comforter was soiled and carpets in the main room are stained. Checkout at 10am seems early."
Aug 10, 2011 - , San Francisco, CA

"Great Cabin!
We love this cabin and plan to rent it again, especially during the summer due to it's close proximity to the water, but it was great also since it's close to Squaw and Northstar for skiing. We did want to let you know however that the pull out bed in the loft was not really accetable to count as a bed. We counted on it, and the 2 people who got the pull out had to take the mattress off and sleep on it on the floor because you could feel the springs through the mattress, which was pretty thin and not comfortable even on the floor. Hopefully this can be remedied because sleeping 10 is a perfect # for us, and we like not needing to bring blowup mattresses. But again, the cabin was awesome otherwise!!
Oh - also maybe a little more toilet paper on stock might be good. We had to run out at night to get more. :)

"we went with some friends who reached before us. All the linens in the bedrooms were dirty and there was a leak in the roof which had caused the upstairs and downstairs carpet to have a huge wet spot.
our mistake was that we did not immediately call the property manager and lodged all the complains. I was planning to do it after we came back so that we did not inconvience our friends and created a negative atmosphere. To top it all, the property manager slapped us with $250 additional charges for carpet cleaning whereas the carpet stain was happending due to the water leak. we were very disappointed. "

This was a great place to stay, with a very good view of the lake. The neighborhood was very quiet, and the neighbors were very friendly. Great place to stay!"

"Family Vacation
The home was in a good location with a beautiful view of the lake. It was clean and in good condition. The linens were not in the best shape - upstairs twin beds had flannel sheets and beds were not comfortable. Pillows should all be replaced. In general, alot of the furniture could be upgraded. The kitchen cupboards were full of stuff that was not organized at all. Someone needs to clean and purge the kitchen."

overall, this place is great but I think it was abit over priced. The location has a good view to the lake but not close to the pool or tennis court or to the private beach at all. It's a very short drive but a bit far for walking. Kitchen was very nice, has everything. The rooms were abit small, just enough for 2 twins with just enough walking space. Manager was helpful and available at all time."

"The driveway needs shoveling and was very icy. The toaster does not work properly and you have to unplug it to get the toast to pop up.
The remotes need batteries and the fireplace batteries are dead so you have to turn it off manually. I would suggest the own owner leave a few trash bags as there were none and just for helpful information the coffee filters did not fit the machine. I purchased some and left them for the next renter. These are small items and our stay was very nice."

"Tahoe City
The cabin was great! We had a total of 10 people and there was plenty of room for all. Had some great views from the deck and upstairs balcony. Will come back next year."

"
The furniture was adequate - not great. The sofa downstairs seemed to be broken. The beds just OK. Ants found their way into the upstairs shower. One big thing was that the dishwasher doesn't actually wash the dishes - we had to run the dirty dishes through twice and finally gave up and did the dishes by hand. Otherwise, the kitchen was nice. I've been renting vacation houses at Tahoe for over 30 years and this house was too expensive for the property's general condition."

"Nice house at good location with gorgeous view
Really good for company of friends, no master bedroom though. Second floor has big 2 sink bathroom. Bedrooms comfy, not huge in size, but decent. Overall everything looks nice, great location."

"
My only complaint is that the deck patio furniture were covered in pine needles when we arrived."

"A great vacation getaway
We enjoyed barbecuing, dining and lounging on the spacious deck which had a great view of Lake Tahoe. The private beach was great for the kids. The pool was good also, a little chilly though. Shopping and downtown are a close by. Horseback riding, river rafting and so much more is just a short drive away. Watch out for the sofa sleeper, the springs make this not a bed anyone wants to sleep on. Overall a great vacation!"

"Tahoe Stay
Everything was beautiful! The location of the cabin was great and all of the amenities added to our week-end. The only problem we had was that the garbage was full and so we had to leave our bags of garbage in the garage. No biggie! Thanks for a great week-end."

"
Construction was taking place right across the street and Brent the property manager at First Accomodations did not inform us ahead of time about it. "

"Great house, great location, beautiful views, great vacation!
This is a great house for a medium sized group- in an excellent location. Not only are you close to Tahoe City, you're only 1/2 hour drive from Emerald Bay and Incline Village and Sand Harbor Beach. You're also 15 minutes from Squaw and Alpine. The private beach and pool with tennis courts at each were also great and used frequently by our group. The house is open (not dark like some Tahoe houses can be) and very comfortable. I would recommend this house to anyone. "

"Great stay
My wife and i and two other couples had a great vacation.
The views of the lake are incredible. The location is very accomadating, just a short drive to everywhere we wanted to go. We took advantage of the pool area and the private beach. It was everything it was advertised to be."

I'd like to rent the same property again this summer. Who can I talk to regarding availability and rates? "

"Great location
This was a beautiful place to stay and despite the ants in the house I'd stay again. It is a bit pricy but the views make it worth while."
