You will not beat the location of this amazing property. You will not be disappointed with your stay here. Everything is as described- except the views- words cannot describe what it is like to wake up to the beautiful beach views that this place has to offer. The private beach access is just the icing on the cake. Honestly I did not want to leave. Communication with the management was absolutely seamless and prompt as well. I cannot speak highly enough of this management company and I would never take my business elsewhere. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. "

"A Best of Beach Baby
Nice place. Miss being able to actually view the beach since the sand dunes are so high. Nice to have the enclosed back porch and the open sundeck. Parking area is smaller than it looks in the pictures but we made it work."

"Enjoyable stay
We enjoyed our stay at Beach Baby. The house was adequate for the 7 of us. Plenty of seating & bedroom space. We arrived to find that the stove didn’t work (was a fuse that needed to be reset) and the ice maker didn’t seem to be working (found it was not turned on.). Candy in the office was helpful...and probably annoyed of the times I called!
The ice maker doesn’t make enough ice for the number of people who can stay there. We had to go get ice at $4 a bag four times. And that was hard to find...not many local grocery stores around.
The water heater was beeping. They sent a plumber to look at it...it was still beeping some when we left. We also had to plunge the toilets...drains running slow.
I realize the house is older, with problems; but with the price I paid, I would have appreciated it if there weren’t that many problems. This was my family’s vacation, and I didn’t really want to spend time worrying about getting repairs done.
The convenience of having the beach right there was great. The family really enjoyed it. "

"Great view but needs some upgrades
House is right on the water so the views are amazing and you couldve any closer to the beach. The house had a bad odor which smells like mold , very distinct and strong, there were air purifiers running in every room when we arrived so i suspect that is why. Freezer did not produce enough ice for drinks for 3 people so had to buy bagged ice. Lastly construction on the street going on and trucks in the road daily.
So if you want a view its a good place, but the smell is terrible and gouse could use a few upgrades"

"Perfect Week at Beach Baby!
We have been looking for the perfect place to stay up and down 30A for over 10 years, and we finally found it! The house is older, but the owner has maintained it well. There are some recent updates, and we didn't have a need for anything that wasn't provided. The walk-out to the beach is so much better than the stairs that we have had to climb at every other location we've stayed at on 30A. We cooked on the grill nearly every night and enjoyed the view while we ate on the lovely screened porch. The four bedrooms were perfect for our family of 7. This house is a hidden gem. We'll be back!"

The house was great, but the location right next to the only public access beach for a distance was a bit crowded on spring break. I would stay there again, but not during any holiday."

"The BEST location to the Beach!
Updated beautiful kitchen! Great size new kitchen table! New flooring! Decorations were beautiful! New added bedroom and updated beautiful bathroom with shower for two! Beautiful new living room & screened in deck area with new furniture! Great personal spray (sand) off area with beautiful new decking! ONE STEP DOWN TO THE BEACH! NEEDS HELP: two bathrooms need a complete renovation! Caulking is mildewed. Spa tub is scary! The bedroom with the scary spa tub has a mildew smell in the bedroom. Obviously the roof leaked at some point! Maybe clean and seal with oil based Kilz. Then paint. Big fan and/or a dehumidifier until completely dry!"

This unit is a great location, away from downtown, but close enough to reach in a few minutes .......the beach is awesome.....the house is fun and has everything you need (execpt a blow dryer). Wifi is good, TV is good, and the beds are comfortable. The refrigerator roars, and needs attention. "

"Right on the beach!
We loved the proximity to the beach. The kids played nonstop. It was very convenient. There are lots of new updates (brand new kitchen and outside furniture etc). New inside furniture is on the way! However, the back bathroom needs to be updated and cleaned, especially around the toilet. The shower glass door track didn’t open easily due to the age of the shower. Regardless of the back bath, we loved our stay and we would return! Management was amazing and fixed things in a timely manner. "

We enjoyed Beach Baby during our stay. Proximity to the beach without steps and included 2 umbrellas and 4 beach chairs were a plus. House is furnished very well and maintained. We noted that some kitchen shelves and under the bed in one bedroom needed cleaning and reported this to property management."

"Beach baby
There were roaches in the dishwasher, in the kitchen cabinets and in 2 of the 3 bathrooms. The key only worked on the front door and not the back door. The location and beach access was great. Will not stay again at this property again. "

"Beautiful setting but needs some TLC
The setting was beautiful but it needs to be cleaned, the smell hits you in the face as soon as you open the door. We had clean cabinets prior to putting our food away because there was mold growing on the cabinets. The floors on the porch had crackers from prior guest. The couch was disgusting but they did send a professional cleaning company to clean its couple days into our stay. "

The location was amazing. The only problem I had was with the plumbing of the place and the room with the bunk beds had a wall torn down cover by some plywood and the room smelled like mold. It bothered me for the price I paid a night for my wife kids and parents I expected the place to be a little better. Thank you!"

"Another Week in Paradise at Beach Baby
This is our second stay in this property. While it is not the most updated or nicest place we have stayed in as far as the house, the location and beach access is to die for! We love this quaint little hidden gem and we love this area. We will be back again!"

"Third stay not such a charm
This was our third stay at beach baby. We liked this property because it is right on the beach with no bluff to walk down. Makes it great with toddlers. However, upon arrival we were told by the managing company that the owners were having a new refrigerator delivered on Wednesday because the ice maker didn't work. We suggested to management this should be done on Saturday when we checked out and before the new guests check in which would allow the refrigerator time to cool. They said the owners scheduled delivery. That meant mid-way through our stay we had to totally unload everything you bring to the beach for toddlers and other family members into ice chests and live out of ice chests for an entire day -- the ice maker never really started producing much ice --- We felt like our full-price stay was less important than the next guests. The beach is lovely but you compete with space because of all the condos that are behind this beachfront property. The umbrella guys do their best to carve out space for this property but sooo many people. I don't think I would stay here again because of the inconvenience but the property overall is in good shape. I recommend staying before the June crowd if at all possible."

"Paradise Found
There were 8 of us (7 adults, 1 child of 5) and the house was perfect for us. Room for everyone in the open plan dining/living room and also plenty of room on the screened-in porch and deck and right on the water! We could not have had a better time! Staff was very helpful. Be sure to try the shrimp basket and key lime pie at Old Florida Fish House! Yummy!"

"Cottage on the Beach
We loved the location, with the cottage sitting right on the sand, on the beautiful white beach! The cottage was a darling 4 bedroom home. We had to leave early due to the red tide. We had 2 1/2 days that were perfect. But the afternoon of the 3rd day was hit by the red tide. Everyone on the beach was coughing. Timing is everything. We loved the house and the area. We hope to return another time."

"Great location - Poor condition
This is a great location that is close to Eastern lake but it needs a deep cleaning and the furniture / appliances need upgrading. Also, The back bedroom stayed warm the whole week which is probably due to the fact that it was added on and doesn’t have much if any insulation and only one vent. The AC is new so that is not the issue. I should have noticed all the fans in the pictures. The management company was very responsive but I would not rent this house again unless it’s in the cooler off season and appliances and furniture upgraded. "

Great beach home with such easy access to the beach...literally steps away! Only complaints: fans in rooms were dirty; we cleaned them. Porch furniture not very enticing, but it's hard to keep anything in great condition on a porch susceptible to the elements. "

"Beach Baby 2018
We enjoyed our week at Beach Baby! I was looking for a place with limited amount of stairs, as my husband has limited mobility. He and I had stayed here many years ago when only 3 bedrooms were available. I was surprised that the newest bedroom had a step down to enter and so he was unable to use that room, which was unfortunate in that it had the only walk-in shower. We used the spacious king bedroom near the dining room, which worked out okay other than he was unable to get his walker through the very narrow doorway. Also, we never could get the TV in our room to work.
Upon arrival, the home appeared very clean other than the living room floor, which was still sandy (especially under the sofa). Being at the beach, we understand that sand everywhere is inevitable. lol
The kitchen was stocked very well with pots, pans, lovely dishes and the usual utensils. This is important to us because we tend to dine in at night. The kitchen could use a few oven-safe casserole dishes smaller than 9"x13", for side items and hot dips. Not really a deal-breaker, of course. I travel with my own chef knives, so I can't tell you about theirs. A non-wooden cutting board for preparing raw meats would be a nice addition. The house sits directly on the beach, so the view is wonderful with easy access to the beach. There is also public access one door down, so expect a busy beach if you go in June. We did have an issue with the gas grill, but that was professionally handled by the management company. Thanks again for responding so quickly! All in all, it was a lovely vacation in a comfortable home. I would recommend this property.
P.S. to home owners remodeling their properties: Please consider walk-in/roll-in showers with handrails in at least one bathroom of your property. The elderly & disabled would greatly appreciate your thoughtfulness. :) Thanks!"

"Location, location, location!
Perfect for 3 sets of grandparents (sans grandchildren). This is an older, 1-story home right on the beach which is very rare. Magnificent screened porch which leads to a sunny patio which leads directly to the beach. A slight hill, but no steps! House itself shows signs of age. "

"Fantastic Beach House!
Beach baby is great! The location absolutely can't be beat, you walk out the backdoor directly to the sand. That made going to the beach with three small children SO much easier. The huge walk-in shower with two showerheads was perfect for getting the kids cleaned up after a beach day. Beds are very comfortable, there's brand new carpeting in two of the bedrooms (all flooring everywhere else is hardwood or tile). The back screened in patio is HUGE and great for hanging out at night. The property management company was wonderful to work with, Gary is awesome! We'll definitely be back!"
