Sealodge E8: This affordable one bedroom Sealodge Kauai condo offers an amazing oceanfront view. Relax on the punee (that’s a window seat in the living room - twin bed size, so a great place for a child to sleep) and enjoy the cooling breeze as you listen to the sounds of the surf and admire the sight of a sunrise over the ocean. The bedroom is furnished with a queen bed. There is an accordion door that slides shut to provide privacy in the bedroom. Smart television and free wifi are included. Full kitchen. Coin operated washer and dryer in the next building.

Our Kauai vacation rentals at Sealodge are located at the end of a small quiet side road, with no through traffic, that ends at a dramatic ocean bluff. These Princeville condos face the ocean on their lanai side. A short hike brings you to the secluded Sealodge Beach. The jungle trail crosses a small stream then descends to a secluded sandy cove. The ocean at Sealodge Beach is shallow and protected by a reef, making it ideal for snorkeling and swimming.

The Sealodge condos were built so you can see the rolling white water waves from the living room windows, the bedroom windows, and the lanai. From all three of these locations you can hear the surf, watch for whales, spinner dolphins, and exotic birds. There is a pool and BBQ area (grills are charcoal and you must bring your own briquettes). Sealodge is comfortable, quiet, and island casual, a more private and secluded alternative to Kauai hotels.

As with most homes on Kauai, this vacation rental is NOT air conditioned.

This is an upstairs condo so you need to be able to go up and down stairs. There are no elevators.

Although this home has internet, the speed and reliability cannot be guaranteed due to the remote location and the service being provided by a third-party.

"Amazing views
Though the week was breezy and showery, not ideal beach weather, we had a great time just relaxing and enjoying the views from this property."

"Sealodge
We have stayed in this Sealodge unit several times. This visit our unit was having kitchen upgrades that were not done by the time of our arrival. Kauai Kahuna was extremely helpful in communicating with and relocating us to another unit. Great customer service. I will definitely book through them again. "

"Great Views and Great Service
We stayed at Sealodge E8 and it was very clean with amazing views. The property management team was awesome. They called before our trip to ensure we received all necessary information and then called after checking in to see how we were doing. We would definitely recommend this property as well as the management team. "

"Kauai trip and stay at Sealodge E8
Great location and loved the North side of the island. Quiet area and close to several beaches and trails. The landscape is incredible with both the mountains and the beaches. The property could use some updating but the view and the whale watching was incredible. Not to mention the private beach that is a short hike away. "

"Beautiful Views
The views from our rental were amazing. We slept with our bedroom window open every night to listen to the sound of the waves crashing. Rental was very clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. Location was great for the Northshore. Only issues were the sliding door and windows were hard to open and close. Had to put some strength behind opening and closing. Other issue is locking the front door. Only lock was the push button entry. Would have been nice to have a secondary lock that could only be locked when inside. Besides all that very happy with our stay."

"Beautiful view at this old condo
We enjoyed the beautiful ocean view . Condo is very old with broken electric stove top . Afraid to use dishwasher because it is old appliance. Be careful Do Not touch wood window blinds that string are broken. If you touch them it is difficult to pull back, wood blinds would falling down. Bedroom curtains are not blockout therefore you would wake up early because light . Door lock was broke but next day changed a new lock. Check out is 10:00 am, clean lady locked our door at 9:30am and left clean tools right by our door . We like Sealodge but hope book a condo with update compliances and oceanfront view. It is a very unique place! "

"Month stay !
Amazing! Only bummer was the dryer broke and it took some time for the staff to tell us where else we could go. Very minor so overall the stay was great. AMAZING view from lanai. Sunrise every morning was beautiful and in effortless view."

"Beautiful place, great view
“Wow” is the only word when you open the door to E8. A wall of windows shows ocean waves and Beaches, rightout tothe Kilauea Lighthouse. The suite was spacious, clean and complete( except for in-suite laundry, which we knew about beforehand). We appreciated the shelves of books, which we read during stormy days. The TV was smarter than we are since we couldn’t use it, but that resulted in a welcomemedia vacation. We visited the lighthouse, the highway beyond Hilauea, and the Kapa’a area, and found good restaurants and interesting shops. Thank you for a beautiful, quiet vacation experience."

"Great View!
This place was great! The view was exceptional, both from the balcony and the bedroom. Waking up to a Hawaiin sunrise is perfect. My only complaints are that the laundry situation is not ideal (older machines, take quarters only) and the bed is a bit firm for my taste (a foam topper would be perfect). It was very clean when we arrived and theres plenty of useful amenities, should you need (beach towels, some snorkel gear, beach chairs). Also, super close to foodland and some other shops in Princeville."

"A very special place
This unit is a perfect location for those wanting to explore the North Coast of Kauai. It’s very well maintained and impecaably clean. There is a full compliment of kitchen supplies as well. Our only issue was there was no AC in the unit and no fans to move the air. We purchased a small oscillating fan for the unit and were promptly reimbursed for our purchase. Great experience over all. "Sea lodge E-8 Our Tropical Paradise Home
Upon our arrival, we instantly loved E-8. Of course, the magnificent views of the ocean from each and every window were spectacular as were the sound of the ocean waves and the gentle breezes coming in. The Hawaiian style furnishings and decor made our unit all the more delightful. The unit was well-equipped with all supplies for comfortable living. Only two things could be improved: (1) providing a washer and drier and (2) Putting a lubricant, like WD-40 on the tracks of all sliding windows and doors. The humidity makes them stick shut and difficult to open. We were unable to open our bedroom window, which we reported, and within a few hours, maintenance had come and freed it up. We very much appreciated this prompt, efficient service!"

"Beautiful views!
Lovely place to stay. Every room from this condo had a view of the ocean. It was clean, however, could use some updating. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others."

"Spectacular unobstructed view - private
It was a quaint little hideaway - very comfortable bed, good shower, sweet built-in daybed.
Only recommendation is they get a new fridge - current one is old with many rust spots and two missing shelves above crisper drawers."

The view is amazing "

"Value Worth the View!
The view looked so surreal in the photos, I was afraid it wouldn’t be that good upon arrival. But it was! The view was epic, from all rooms. Plenty of space and comfort for two people. A great location near Princeville shops, secluded and quiet. The kitchen appliances were definitely older and dated, but they worked fine. There was a funky smell within the condo during our stay but we just opted to sit on the balcony as much as possible. "

"Great Views!
The condo had beautiful views of the ocean from the living room and bedroom and was very pleasant. The soap that was supplied for the bathroom and kitchen only lasted a few days, so you’ll definitely need to replenish. The shower had great water pressure and there was a lot of closet space. It got a bit warm at night because we had to keep the windows closed or the rain would blow in, but there were a couple of fans that helped. There is a tv, but no cable. We rented some dvds at Redbox, but weren’t in the condo that much at night anyways so it wasn’t a big issue. The complex is a bit dated, but is clean and has washers and dryers on site. This was a great rental for us and was close to grocery stores and beaches. "

"Great view!
I stayed here for a week and had a great time. I ate out once a day and cooked my other meals, and found the kitchen had everything I needed. There is no air conditioning, but being right on a cliff there is good crosswind so I was comfortable in August. Bed was comfy. You should be aware that the highway is still closed past Hanalei because of the flooding last spring, but that’s no fault of the condo :). I was there during the lead up to Hurricane Lane, and the staff called to check in and were very helpful. I’d stay here again! But it’s a long 2h drive to Waimea canyon and I’m a hiker, so I’d probably split my time between here and somewhere closer. "
