Villas of Kamali'i 37 is a quiet, private escape in the heart of Kauai's North Shore. Away from the hustle and bustle of all the crowds, your spacious townhome has two master suites (the downstairs one has AC!), a bright and open living and dining area with lofty vaulted ceilings and tons of windows to let in natural light, a fully equipped kitchen, and 3 private lanais for you to choose from. Although the furnishings are older, they were tastefully chosen, the location is unbeatable, and the peacefulness of the neighborhood is ideal for a relaxing getaway!

Just a few minutes from the charming town of Hanalei, Villas of Kamali'i 37 is the perfect home base for all your explorations. Drive just 10 minutes and you can be right in the midst of all the boutique shops and delicious restaurants in Hanalei town, or relaxing on the warm, golden sand beaches of Hanalei Bay. If you're up for a longer excursion, Tunnels Beach is a 20 minute car ride away, and has calm, clear waters and tons of fish to marvel at while snorkeling. If you're lucky you might even spot a honu (Hawaiian green sea turtle)! Ha'ena Beach is just another couple minutes past Tunnels, and also has great swimming and snorkeling set against a stunning mountain backdrop. It's truly a hidden gem on the North Shore! Of course, there's plenty to do if you prefer to stick closer to home. The nationally ranked Makai Golf Course is just a 5 minute walk from your front door, and has some of the most picturesque golfing in the United States! The Princeville Shopping Center is 5 minutes away driving, and has plenty of shopping and dining options, as well as the Foodland grocery store, a great tiki bar, and live hula shows on Saturday afternoons. Be sure to check out the Saturday morning farmers market as well, you'll be sure to find delicious local produce and treats!

When you're not out exploring the island, the neighborhood has plenty to offer too! The Villas of Kamali'i community has a heated salt water pool and hot tub, perfect for a day spent relaxing in the sun and swimming around. There are also poolside barbecue grills if you want to host an impromptu cookout while enjoying the facilities. You don't need to worry about laundry facilities, though, as there's an in unit washer and dryer for even more convenience. We also provide a selection of beach gear to make those long, sandy days a little bit easier!

Looking to explore the rest of the island? Drive time to the East Side (where the airport is located) is roughly 50 minutes, and to the South Shore is 75 minutes.

This unit is only partially air conditioned (downstairs master bedroom only), however each room has a ceiling fan and screen doors on the lanais to help with air flow.

This is a split-level unit, you must be able to go up and down 7 steps to access the main living area, and 16 total steps to get from the downstairs master suite to the living area.

Although this home has internet, the speed and reliability cannot be guaranteed due to the remote location and the service being provided by a third-party.

Award-winning Golf Princeville is historically a plantation. In 1968, it became a golf course and resort called Princeville at Hanalei. Today, Princeville continues its golf tradition at the Princeville Makai Golf Club. "It was okay
The townhouse itself was decent. It was located in a relatively quiet location, and had everything needed for cooking, etc versus having to go out to eat every meal. The issues were that the place was rather worn, and things weren't in the best condition. The beds were terrible and provided no support, but otherwise caused body aches and pains for everyone in our party. Also, the ad listed that this unit had AC. It was only in the primary bedroom and no where else. Being a two story unit the upstairs was very hot even with all the windows and sliding doors open. It made it very difficult to sleep until late in the evening/early morning when it finally cooled off."

"Best Vacay
From start to finish this whole rental experience was great. "

"Kauai July 2022
The condo was spacious, clean and well equipped.
The location was good. Overall we were very satisfied. The 17" CRT TV in the lower suite needs an upgrade. LOL. The furniture is somewhat dated but of good quality."

"Great times!
We were really happy with the vacation rental, very peaceful, safe, and close to everything on the north shore. I am sure we will stay there again. There was plenty of space for the 3 of us, and this unit is on the edge with amazing views of the mountains with windows set up to frame the landscape.
I would recommend a new fridge and perhaps a dehumidifier for the master suite."

"Lovely Place
This unit was a lovely place for us to spend our Kauai Christmas vacation. It is spacious and was clean when we arrived. The lanai is a peaceful place to start your day listening to the birds and the rooms are large and comfortable. The pool/hot tub area is pleasant and not too busy so you can always enjoy it uncrowded. The unit has beach chairs and an umbrella that were very useful for hanging out at the beach. The unit could use some updating and minor maintenance but was overall good value when compared to other options in the area."

"Great place
Good location, unit very clean and quiet. We were able to charge rental ev vehicle right at the unit, sufficient parking. Only negative: I filtered my search for a place by “a/c only” and, technically, there is a/c. It is a room unit in one bedroom. The rest of the unit remained pretty warm our entire stay, as it is west facing and the blinds are insufficient to block the sun. I saw later that the a/c situation was described in the description of the unit, but I failed to see that detail. It was hot, but we survived and had a great time. "

"Gorgeous Villa
It was our own little tropical oasis. Large space, great views, a nice shared pool and hot tub (we like chatting with the neighbors). Go to the beach where you hike down past Nourish cafe, and find yourself on a sandy beach below mangrove trees so you can lie in the shade. You can even wade or swim into Hanalei bay. A couple downsides: the tvs are old and hard to figure out. This was a bummer because the Olympics were on. Also only the master bed has AC, although we knew this going in. "

"Not the right rental for people not used to hot/humid weather
While the property management company were great communicators and kept a nice, clean unit, there is nothing they can do about the fact that only the downstairs bedroom has a portable AC unit, which made the rest of the condo uninhabitable for our entire stay. All three of us slept in that one room, with my daughter sleeping on the floor next to the AC so she could sleep. Even at 9a in the morning it was so hot upstairs you could not stay up there, even with windows open & fans going to bring in cooler air. The description was up front about only the downstairs having AC (though it is a portable unit, not a regular AC system with vents that would distribute the air equally), but I had last been in Kauai 10 years ago when the weather wasn't so hot & muggy. At home, I live in 100+ degree heat and set my AC to 78-80, so I am not a person who wants my room ice cold, but this was so hot & stuffy, as to be miserable, even late at night after the outside had cooled down. They had a lot of fans, but it didn't really help. But it is otherwise a nice, inexpensive place to stay with the basics."
