These multi-level units are situated in a distinctive village cluster where families truly enjoy the space. Everyone can "spread out" and retreat to their own bedroom / bath. Access to beach and pool is directly from unit. Parking is convenient and covered area directly at front door.

We rent to family groups, married couples, or mature adults over the age of 25. We do not, under any circumstances, rent to groups for proms, graduations, college house parties, etc. Misrepresentation will result in immediate eviction without refund.

1. Damage Protection Insurance – For an additional $79.00, this plan covers up to $3,000 in unintentional damages to the rental unit that may occur during your stay. Report the damage to us, we’ll take care of the rest!
2. Security Deposit - $1,000 is immediately charged at time of booking. If the property is left undamaged, keys & parking passes returned, your security deposit will be refunded within 45 days after check out.

In the event of a cancellation by Tenant, Tenant shall receive a refund of all payments made by Tenant, less an administration fee of $100.00 if the Premises are re-rented on terms set forth herein. If the Premises are not re-rented on the terms set forth herein, Tenant will not be entitled to a refund of any rent payment made hereunder. Whether or not the Premises are re-rented, Tenant, rather than Agent, shall be responsible for seeking reimbursement of any fees paid by Tenant to Agent for goods, services, or benefits procured by Agent from third parties for the benefit of Tenant that may have been paid out prior to Tenant’s cancellation.

"could have been better
There was mold in the master bed and master bathroom. We also had cable problems that we had to spend several hours on the phone with the cable company and then waste half a day waiting on the cable company to send a technician to resolve the issue."

"Ocean Grove G-2
Our stay was fantastic. The property was in great condition and the staff was amazing to work with. The only two things I noticed that might make a stay even better are 1) providing water dispenser in the refrigerator. It was odd that the only option was tap water, which didn't taste very good. 2) There is no door on the master bathroom. Not a huge issue but a little odd."

"Beware!
This is a very nice condo. It is really well equipped and the bedrooms are
spacious. When it was renovated it was done professionally and well. We stayed here last year and were really happy with the property. However, this year was not good. The property wasn’t clean. The carpets are stained and dirty. The bedding in 2 of the rooms were soiled. And the master bedroom smelled like pet urine.
But the worst was there were mice. We saw them 1st on Wed. Then again on Friday. When we started checking we found droppings in all of the corners on the main floor and the back of the end tables. Needless to say we were very upset! We have 4 toddlers with us and didn’t want to frighten them. But this was the worst rental experience we’ve ever had. What a difference a year makes!"

"G2 ocean grove
Our stay at ocean grove, g2 was great. We are a family of 8 and the only tight area was the kitchen, dining. Having our own bedroom and bath was a tremendous help and alleviated frustrations. The beach and pool was very close, and beautiful! It would be nice if the furniture in the living area was replaced or steam cleaned. That would be my only suggestion. The staff was helpful and Beacons Reach Marina dockmaster was terrific to work with. I would definitely stay here again! "

"Sand Castle Beacons Reach

We had a fantastic week. The weather was perfect and the location of our condo was perfect; close to the beach, and quiet. One suggestion would to have an outdoor shower; it would help eliminate a lot of sand tracked into the house. The property was clean but some things need trended to like the sliding glass doors in the bathroom and the door to the deck. I would recommend this property to a friend. We love the Crab Shack, On the Rocks and Amos Mosquito. We also rented kayaks in Swansboro which was fun!"

"Great Stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our week! The owners have carefully included many thoughtful extras like laundry baskets in each of the bedrooms, bistro-height porch chairs which allow you to see over the railing, beach chairs, and more. The main floors have bare floors, but bedrooms have soft carpet. The kitchen is well equipped, and there is a trash compactor to help with the volume. Overall, we loved the unit. Proximity to the ocean was great, and we appreciated the private walkways!"

"Awesome Place to Stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at G-2 condo in Ocean Grove! It was very well decorated, very clean, with fantastic views of the ocean from both lower and upper decks. Each bedroom had a newly remodeled bathroom which was really nice, plus all rooms had TVs with Roku for easy streaming. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks so much for hosting us!"

"Cook Family First week of August 2p22
We liked The decor and overall quality of G2. Furniture and furnishings are very nice. I will mention here just a few matters that might make a stay even better.
1. Say something in the on-site literature about the dish washer switch. Typically you don’t have a switch at all. It was a mystery for us for awhile.
2. Maybe the literature should mention where the “pin key” needed to unlock the owner’s bedroom guest closet is located. Unusual that that closet locks from the inside. We don’t know how it happened but we got locked out. Fortunately we found what we thought was the key and
were able to unlock the door.
3. We all flew so didn’t have any beach chairs or toys. Might be a nice touch to have at least a minimal amount of inexpensive stuff. Users would be liable for damages.
4.Thanks for having a nice clean grill. The propane tank was low, however, and we had to call for refill.
5. As I said, we liked the condo and had a very good stay. CC. "

"Living the Beach Life in Pine Knoll Shores
Ocean Grove G-2 is a beautifully updated, sea-themed condo that whispers 'serenity' the moment you walk in. The ocean views and access to the beach are perfect. We were graced with calm waters and sunny days. The neighborhood across the street is a great place to walk, run, or bike and takes you to a small marina on the Sound side of the island.
My only concern with the Ocean Grove complex is the parking. Guests are limited to 2 cars, but the condos sleep at least 10 people. We have always needed at least 3 cars to get our family and all of our luggage and supplies down from VA. Finding a safe, convenient place to park car 3 isn't easy, but we have used a beach access lot 1/3 mile away, the shopping center lot 15 minutes away, and the Cannon and Gruber lot 20 minutes away to park our extra car. There are a few guest spaces at Ocean Grove you can park in temporarily but not long/overnight. This year, an owner several units down from us banged on our door mid-afternoon and screamed at my family (starting with my tween who answered the door thinking it was one of us returning with groceries) about parking in the wrong spot. She brought two men with her to 'handle' the situation as well. She had never spoken to us prior to this encounter, so her hateful attitude was not only unkind and irrational, it was completely unnecessary. It scared our children, angered the adults who had to jump into a protective mode, and put a huge damper on the final two days of our trip. It was severe enough that we will look for another unit far from hers, if not another complex, to stay in since she is a permanent resident there."

Overall a great vacation experience. Proximity to beach and pool were great. Great decks to overlook beach and ocean. Unit could definitely use some updates, beds were fine, furniture like couch and chairs in general could be more comfortable. Proximity to local dining and recreation is great. "

we enjoyed the stay at this unit. it is a short walk from unit to the beach and there is an area for washing off chairs and stuff outside of unit. there are a lot of steps, so be careful with small children or older adults. it was nice that every room had their own bathroom. furniture in living room could be updated, overall it was a good unit."

"Great multi-level condo for beach holiday
It's just a board walk from the condo to the beach and another board walk to the pool. Nothing better than starting the day with a cup of coffee, looking over the ocean. It's an older apartment, but it has plenty of space, you'll find everything you need in this condo and it's nicely decorated. The island has lots of sites to visit. This was a perfect place for our family with teenagers. "

"My week at the beach
The condo was fine but the parking was limited to 2 vehicles so we only had 2 passes but we eventually had 4 cars. The week we were at this resort was not busy and there were several "guest" spaces so instead of taking our extra vehicles back to the office which was 12 miles away, my daughter and I took each a "guest" space and this was good for a few days but then my car was ticketed and was going to be towed if I did not move it. We had stayed at other condo's where parking was limited and we abided by the rules but in this case I felt there was no need. However, when I checked out there was no mention of returning the parking passes and we all left for our homes: mine being in Durham NC, my son in Concord NC and my daughter in South Carolina. 1 1/2 hrs after check out, I received a call from the rental office where I was asked to return the parking passes and when I told the person that one was in my son's car and the other in my daughter's, I was told that there would be a $50 fine so I said fine me which was done that same day on my credit card. Needless to say I will not rent from this agency again."

"Great Location
The experience was great as far as location and the amenities with the rental. Our stay was complicated by the fact that there are only two parking passes for this rental, which has 4 bedrooms and room for 10 to sleep. The security at the condo complex is very strict and sometimes rude. We had three vehicles due to the families coming from different parts of the state. We were asked to immediately remove the third vehicle, and a kind neighbor convinced the security person to give us a break while we got unloaded. We were not offered guest passes, and the only option offered to us by Gruber was to park the extra car at the rental office, six miles away. This was very inconvenient and needs to be overcome in order to realize the value of having four bedrooms we can utilize for the price. We also arrived to find the back glass door coming apart around the glass and unlockable. The response was good on this, but we had to endure three visits by maintenance folks to actually get this fixed. This was a lesser problem than the parking issue which was handled rudely with little options. Please find a way to offer at least one extra space close by the unit. in response to the last question here, yes, I would recommend this property to a friend if they could have only two vehicles for a unit that slept 8 to 10."

"Coming home
Great location, we used to own one of these units F-3. This was the reason we rented here. Furniture was well used and of medium quality but clean, Walls were a little dirty (wallpaper), beds were comfortable and linens clean. Location is excellent, layout is great, AC worked well. Pull down the wallpaper and repaint, get a new couch and new chairs in downstairs room and it would be perfect. Overall very pleased and we had a great stay. "
