"Great Family Vacation
Condo was everything as listed and more. The negative comments on past reviews regarding the check-in process is confusing. Very easy and cordial process!
We had to make a service call regarding the dish washer and they were out within 2 hours and fixed it within 5 minuets. (Note, nothing wrong with the dish washer we had a Toddler that was pushing buttons! YIKES)"

"2024 Family Vacay
The unit was spacious, clean and well maintained. Kitchen was well stocked and our sons were able to prepare meals for our family of 14. Even though on the 2nd row, the walk to the beach was very short. With little one a short walk was crucial!
The marsh view from our 3rd floor unit was beautiful but there was no ocean visible from our unit.
In my opinion this unit is excellent and would be perfect if it was ocean front!
Great vacation and lots of great memories made!

"Excellent Rental
Condo was great and worked well for the extended family. Very clean and up-to-date. Photos and description were accurate. We had one routine maintenance issue and it was quickly handled by the agency. Check in and check out were efficient. Would stay here again."

We loved the condo. Check in was easy. Perfect location and easy beach access. Parking was the only difficult park when you have a bigger truck or suv. But don’t let that stop you. Great time overall. "

"Immaculate place but horrible check in process
This house is immaculate & very close to beach. Spacious house with room to spread out. Pillows were horrible and everyone had neck aches & I even went and bought a new pillow and took it home with me. The pier was still getting fixed so the fishers that came were pretty bummed. Now lets talk about the check in process. Its absolutely horrible. You have to go to a separate place to check in and get info on your room & its not convenient or practical. You need to go there at 4pm & then theirs a line of people all checking in & the employees working there are rude. We came 3:45 & got sent away & then had to get back in a line of people which is not fast moving by any means. As nice as the house is it would defiantly deter me from renting any house in the area that uses that rental service. I rent places every year for 12 yrs now and never has my vacation started out on such a wrong foot. "

"Do not stay here!
From the moment we walked past the first floor HVAC room we knew we had a problem. It looks as if it has never been cleaned and has so much caked on debris it is all over even the outside of the door, horrible for anyone with breathing issues such as asthma, but overall gross. Sheets and bedding were our next issue, so we removed all to begin washing them. I called management and they did immediately come over with new bedspreads while we were at dinner. But after seeing dirty sheets and bedspreads it's very hard to feel good where you are staying. The carpet needs to be removed it is so filthy we all kept are shoes on any time we walked. We had to mop the kitchen floor first day (it had not been) The dryer had many reviews about taking so long that is because it is so caked of debris and probably in need of the vent unclogged- that is why it takes hours to dry. Fans in rooms need to be cleaned, remote for tv had duct tape and it was even hanging off. Trundle single bed is about to fall apart. The building is less than desirable; it needs to be power washed, and many steps are in need of repair. Elevator stinks and dirty so only those in our party that had to use it did. The pool does not have much on the ocean side, it was dirty and had no tables or grill. Only positive was that management was attentive to the sheet/bedspreads and refunded the cleaning fee. The place should be taken offline and Maintenace performed first! Will never rent from this unit or building again. "

The condo was exactly as it was described. This is our third condo we have stayed in at Pier Watch II. The view overlooking the marsh was great. We were not sure if we would like it better than the view of the ocean, but we did. Also much quieter on the marsh side."

"Beswick Family 2022 Vacation
We had a great experience at our Pier 11 location. The condo was realy nice Only problem is the microwave went out but called the rental company and a service tech came right out and installed a new one. Everything else was great. Place was clean and comfortable."

"Great Time
Everything was great, from the moment we reserved the home to checkout with some minor exceptions. The shower liners need to be changed, there were bugs but it did rain most of our time there. The pool was cloudy the entire time so we didn't get to enjoy it. The home itself was very accomodating and roomy."

"Dissatisfied guest
The unit was large and accommodating for our large group. It was clean and as expected by the pictures. The parking garage is very compact and not for large vehicles. The pool was small and could not accommodate the number of guests. We experienced loud neighbors all throughout the night. When I called to complain about this issue, no one could help, I was told each unit was managed by someone different and they had no control over this. Which of course was very disappointing. We were there on a family vacation which included 5 teenagers and 2 toddlers. We felt unsafe, especially at night. There were large groups congregating in the parking deck all hours of the night. We went out for dinner one evening and took our parking pass down, because like I said we were there with our children and on the parking pass it tells not only where you are staying but your unit number as well. So therefore I did not feel comfortable advertising where our family was staying, so needless to say because My parking pass was not displayed in my car, it got towed the next morning. When I picked my car up from the tow company I was told that the condo gets 1/2 of the towing fee. So it seems security is more concerned with towing cars than keeping the guests feeling safe and controlling the noise and congregating of non guests. We will not be back. "

Furniture was not clean, beds were extremely uncomfortable, dryer very dirty inside, toilets continuously clogged, bathroom sinks filled with water before finally draining. One of the TV's in the bedroom did not work. Having to supply own toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, etc. was not ideal coming from across the country."

"April Getaway
Overall the rental was great. Clean and spacious. Only downside was that the elevator was not working for 3 of the 4 nights of our stay. We were there to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday and she really enjoyed it but opted to stay in rather than go anywhere because of the 50+ steps that she would have to climb to get back up to the unit. Even with that we still enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay here again (hopefully elevator will be working)."

"Nice, need greater housekeeping focus

We were a group of 11. Upon initial entry the condo is beautiful. However, after a long drive we were disappointed to find that the sheets & quilts on every bed needed washing. I mean, long hairs, sand, crumbs. We had to run out and buy detergent and the machine has the longest cycles imaginable.
Upon going take showers, the liners were filthy. Blood, muddy, filthy. The tubs backed up with water during the shower.
That said, I called after hours and they came promptly to fix the shower drain. Somehow,by fixing the upstairs drains the downstairs drains got clogged. We called them back, and maintenance came promptly.
I should also note that our stay was Aug 23 - 27. A few days prior to our trip a saw a review from Aug 14 about bed bugs. I was very concerned and reached out to the property managers, Who offered very detailed accounts about what happen and how they resolved the issue. It should be noted that there were no bed bugs during our stay. However, there was the most giant bug I've ever seen (still don't know what it was), but it was isolated and handled quickly by my brother.
Overall, nice stay. I would offer that housekeeping is cutting corners. We found dirty dishes/flatware stored with clean. The bedding and shower curtain liner situations are just inexcusable. It may be a good idea to replace shower liners after each stay, they are $1 at the dollar store and offer a feeling of cleanliness that people expect when renting. Also, the bed protectors & pillows need cleaning. We were horrified when stripping the beds to wash the sheets and pillowcases. Also, a little attention to walls and baseboards may be due. It wasn't a major, but this would help keep the place from going down.
Again, nice place, beautiful decor, Great location. If housekeeping were better this would be an ideal location."

"Pier Watch 2 Villa
My family and I along with my sister and her family as well as grandparents stayed at Pier Watch 2 Villa in the middle of July and had a great time. The place was very large and accommodating and very close to the beach. The place was clean and the only issue we had was the downstairs air condition stopped working. We called the emergency number they gave and they came right out to fix it! We enjoyed our stay and will likely stay here again!!"

Overall, this condo was a great place to stay in Cherry Grove. It is very convenient as it was right across the street from the beach and the Cherry Grove pier. The actual condo/room was clean and updated with comfortable furnishings. The complex as a whole could use some work. The pool across the street at the other Pier Watch condos is in much better shape than the small one at Pier Watch II. Victoria at (Property Management) was great to work with. The check-in process was very smooth. There was a bed that did not have clean sheets the first night we arrived and Victoria quickly resolved the issue. Overall, this trip was a great success!"

We had a very enjoyable stay at the condo. It was newly updated and we had plenty of room for the 3 families that stayed. There isn't a lot within walking distance if you're looking for shops, but it's very close to the beach and North Myrtle Beach is a quieter location than by the boardwalk if you're looking for quiet."

"Pier Watch II Unit 302
We had a great stay at this unit, plenty of room for our large family and very reasonable price. We loved the location, close to grocery store and restaurants. The only problem we had was the washing machine malfunctioned and needed a new part to be fixed. We checked in on Saturday and the wasther wasn't fixed until Friday but we were compenstated fairly for the inconvenience and had the option to do our laundry at the realty company office. (Property Management) was quick to respond when we needed them!! "
