"Re-done nicely but very dirty
I’ve been coming to N. MB for 3/4 years but it was my first time renting with my family of 3 as we use to stay at my parents place in the same building. It’s a great location to beach, restaurants and shopping, but I was very disappointed because the unit looked nice but it was so disgustingly dirty to where we will not be returning. Dust was so thick on fans walls, doors. Garbage under the bed and behind dresser. Dead cockroaches behind and under things that they sat so long they even had dust on them. The floor was so dirty your feet turned dark black. We swept twice then we took 4 swifer pads to it and it was still not close to clean. So obviously the floor hasn’t been touched in who knows how long. The master bed was stiff and squeaky my back hurts from using it.
It was rented out by a realtor company. We did get our cleaning fee back but it was still very disappointing for the price they charge you for that fee. "

"Smaller than expected
The location was safe and very convenient to the ocean as well as local restaurants and shopping. Barefoot Landing is a short drive. The unit was smaller than the photos represent. The rooms are very tiny. Perfect for 2-3 people. The property management company does not answer the phone. Not a friendly or inviting company. "

The condo is perfect for 2 people.
The furniture in the 2nd bedroom needs to be replaced. The bed was old and very squeeky. The hall bathroom the ceiling needs attention. The paddle fans were very dirty.
TV’s we’re difficult to figure out. Especially the last ne in the living room.
Kitchen was well stocked."

"Great Getaway
Excellent week stay. Condo was clean, in excellent repair and provided space that we needed. Easy access and ample parking. The condo is located in close proximity to shopping and restaurants. The beach is mere steps away. Staff was exceptional, professional, friendly and helpful. Excellent views from the den, bedroom and balcony. Only difficulties were problems with cable and slow Wi-Fi. Cable did not work appropriately on 2 out of 3 televisions. Will return for future stats."

"A Place at the Beach Room 301
Overall it was a nice experience. However, I called two days in a row about the TV remotes not working. The guy came after the first call and said he needed to bring new batteries, but he never came back. I called the 2nd time and no one showed up at all. We went the entire week without a working TV in any of the rooms. No sense in that! Plus it was very unnerving to have the fire alarm go off late Saturday night because a smoke detector in the hall on the second floor was bad. This should be on your regular maintenance schedule to insure routine equipment is maintained. We didn't realize this unit did not have a dishwasher, but we just washed them manually. The property could use some landscaping upkeep. Especially pulling weeds in the rocks around the pool deck. The pool needs to be cleaned every day as well as there was a vomit type substance floating around on top of the water for two days not to mention bugs. A little more attention to detail would be helpful, but overall a nice property. "

"Steps from the beach.
This is a great location, just steps from the beach and close to many very good restaurants, event theatres and shopping. The unit is small but adequate for two people. The Master bedroom was very spacious and comfortable. The second bedroom was very small, the bed felt unstable, squeaky and uncomfortable."
