Crimson on the Gulf #102 - Your vacation begins the moment you step into 102 Crimson in southern Madeira Beach! With panoramic ocean views, this condo is perfectly located at the end of the unit, overlooking the pool, spa, and other amenities. The 1400 square foot 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom property is beautifully decorated, spacious and offers a comfortable and relaxing environment for those with even the most discriminating of tastes. Everything you need is right here. The bright, updated kitchen has all utensils including up to date appliances along with plenty of seating for dining. The spacious living area leads to the outdoor balcony, a perfect location to sunbathe, read a book or sip your favorite drink while listening to the waves. High speed internet as well as washer and dryer are also included with this property.

You will be required to sign a rental agreement with (Property Management) prior to a reservation being confirmed.

Crimson is a Smoke Free property including all private balconies and common areas.

The master bedroom offers private access to the large balcony, and includes two queen beds, television and attached master bath. The charming second bedroom offers three twin beds as well as television, again, all decorated with special touches throughout. As of March 24, 2024, this room does not have a bunk bed. There is twin trundle bed and another twin bed. The third bedroom has a queen bed. Linens, extra towels and pillows are stocked for your visit.

Located just steps from the beach, and in close access to heated pool, spa, BBQ and other amenities, this prime condo is close to popular John's Pass, which offers a variety of restaurants, unique shopping and entertainment along a pirate themed 1,100 foot boardwalk - a popular destination for locals and tourists alike.

Amenities also include daily access to the main office for any business needs that arise, such as faxing, copying and printing boarding passes. Maintenance is also available seven days a week along with an after-hours emergency call attendant. This is a non smoking home.

Madeira Beach is a sought after community, just west of St. Petersburg. Its 2.5 mile beach is popular with sun lovers and offers some of the best fishing in the area. John's Pass, is a popular attraction with unique shopping, incredible restaurants, art shows, musical entertainment along a 1,100 foot pirate themed boardwalk offering a fun experience for the entire family.

Nearest airports are Tampa International Airport at just over 20 miles and St. Petersburg Clearwater International at 10 miles away.

Thereafter, there are no refunds in the unfortunate event of a cancellation prior to the Rental Period. Changes to reservations will be accommodated based on availability. Refunds are not given for unmet expectations, weather, natural disaster, evacuation, personal, or other related reasons. The Management Company reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

"Excellent View & location, Condo showing wear
We stayed in this condo 2 years in a row because of the location and view of the beach. The condo was very clean but is showing wear and needs an update. My adult kids have stayed in condo 203 & 103, which had better, more comfortable balcony furniture and the kitchens were better equipped, while the decor was up to date. Owners need to put a bit of money into this unit. "

"Could have been cleaned better
Our condo was unfortunately not very clean. The floors had not been swept and there were things left from the previous renters that were still in our room and not cleaned up. Also, the management did not release any of the "cleaned" rooms until all rooms were cleaned which left several visitors without place to go even though the rooms were "cleaned". Other than those issues, was a great place to stay. "

"Summer of 2022 family vacation
We have been staying at the Surf Song for about 40 years and watched as they built the Crimson. Larry Tolliver even gave me keys and let me tour a couple of rentals one summer. But this is the first time I have stayed in this complex. It was such an amazing unit in a perfect spot and immaculate!"

"Beach getaway
Great location with proximity to restaurants, shops and of course, the ocean. The only drawbacks to the condo were the lack of a bathroom at the pool and that keys are still being used instead of a keypad. The condo had most everything you'd need to enjoy a stress free week at the beach. Would definitely stay again."

"Overall a Good Experience
The overall experience was good. The unit itself was very spacious, location was great and the views were terrific. It was also easy to check in and we had no issues with anything in the unit. The areas of opportunity were that there is no bathroom near the pool, so need to go back to the room to go to the bathroom. The gate to exit to the beach is not a soft close and it bangs nearly all day long. The space by the pool could be made nicer and some parts of the unit were dated. "

Condo was very nice, updated and clean. The beachfront view was beautiful. The only downside was the office staff was not friendly or welcoming. It would be more efficient if the pool and beach gate should be updated to keypad entry; like the stairwells. "

"Returning visitor
We have always loved our stay at Crimson. However, the unit had a toilet and ice maker that weren't working this year (with no remedy during our stay) and then, when we went to book again for next year, the price has gone up $600. And with no visible enhancements to the property! So we are looking elsewhere. Pretty disappointed this year... :( "

"Crimson 102
Our condo was not ready for check in on time. The couches and pillows were visibly dirty. The ceiling fan lights in the living room just flickered and would never stay on. The tv was complicated and not user friendly. We requested maintenance for assistance and they finally came two days later and got the tv on and working but when it timed out and turned off we were never able to get it working again. The bedding in every room was nasty and visibly dirty and stained. The bedding in one bedroom was absolutely disgusting and visibly soiled with blood. We had to request it be changed twice before housekeeping eve showed up. The fish rug in the bunk bedroom was nasty and ripped. The pool was very small for the facility and there weren’t enough lounge chairs to accommodate the guests. The pool and beach access gate being locked was a nuisance since there was only one key provided for us to share.
The grill and picnic tables by the pool were a nice option and the condo is very convenient to dining and shopping. "

Beautiful view of Gulf. Great beach access. Secure building. Issues with condo were handled timely after arrival. Could use a deep clean, but that’s pretty standard for beach condo. Mattress and box spring need replaced - very very very hard and squeak every time you move. Odd setup for bedrooms, but a lot of beds to choose from since limited to 6 people."

"Lovely vaca
The condo was very nice with only the laundry appliances a negative experience. The dryer was broken the 1st five days of our 8 day stay. The washer was not usable except for white towels because it left white lint all over any clothes laundered. That said, all other accommodations were excellent. Would have just preferred that the laundry appliances were perfectly functional our entire stay because it was a huge inconvenience not being able to use them."

"Nice enough
We had a great family vacation at Crimson at Madeira Beach. The condo was on the first floor and easy access to the beach. When we arrived on Saturday, we spoke to someone at the Crimson pool. We found the elevator was out of service. Not really a big deal for us, since we were on the 1st floor. The elevator was out of order until Thursday that week. (6 days)l
The condo was nice enough, with full size washer and dryer. 2 queen beds in the master bedroom. A little odd, but was ok.
The living room furniture as dirty, smelled bad and needed replaced.
We still had a great beach vacation! We have been coming to this area 30 years. We will be back. We love Crimson, but will stay in a different condo. "

"Rich B*tch Review
I love to find things wrong so I can prove to my husband you get what you pay for. I tried. I tried all week. I could not find one thing to complain about; not one thing to be disappointed in. Unit 102 is a gem. In fact, anything you can imagine wanting from a beach experience it here. The balcony is the difference between a nice stay and a great stay. Beautiful. So close to the water. John’s Pass so safe and close my 12 & 10 yr olds were allowed to go anytime in their own under the bridge. All the restaurants so close you can slip from the beach to boardwalk without packing up your tent. The master has 2 queens but we pushed them together for a rock star experience (which just means a lot of luxurious space). I know I’ll regret this review when I try to reserve it and it’s perpetually booked, but I will understand. "
