Aloha & welcome to Haleki’i Sunset. This beautiful panoramic ocean view home is located in the heart of Kealakekua. Recently acquired & renovated, it is the perfect tropical get away.
Close enough to the village of Kailua, yet private, you will be swept off to this Hawaii home tucked away in the southern portion of Kona looking down at the Pacific Ocean.
Haleki'i Sunset is flowering with greenery from the grassy yard to the tropical foliage. Coconut palms, a pineapple plant, a lime tree, & an avocado tree are side by side with you as you admire the ocean views from one corner of the property to the other.
Deep blue hues in the morning & streaks of yellow & orange and often purple stream across the water & sky in the evening as the sun sets behind the clouds. Two large lanais gift you panoramic water views, a place for meals, & cool ocean breezes.
The Upper Lanai has a sofa & lounge chair, coffee table, large umbrella, barbecue grill, & a dining table (extendable).
The Lower Lanai off the side of the home has lounge chairs & sitting tables, a large cushioned bench & an outdoor shower to clean up from your day at the beach.
Inside... there is fresh furniture that is so comfortable, new tile & vinyl plank flooring & vaulted ceilings. Everything is clean & bright. Multiple living areas allow you to feel good no matter where you are in the house.
When you enter the home, you are greeted by a small set of stairs to the left leading up to the Kitchen & Great Room which has more ocean views, areas to relax, eat, watch a show, or read a book. The most expansive views up & down the coastline are just out the sliding glass door to the Upper Lanai.
The interior of the home is broken up into 2 living quarters
Upper space: Kitchen, Great Room, 3 bedrooms & 2 baths.

Lower space: (Separate entry) Adorned with a mini-kitchenette, living room, private bedroom (w/ brand-new luxury mattress) & a bathroom. Both adults & kids love the gigantic artist’s chalkboard in the lower unit. This unit is great for an additional family, grandparents or as mother-in-law quarters. It feels connected, yet private.

For those who need to get online, the highest & fastest internet connection available is turned up to FULL speed. You have 2 desks (1 in the upper area & 1 in the lower) to support your business or leisure web surfing.
If you want to take in some real surfing, Magic Sands Beach is 13 mins away. Also, take a short trip to arguably one of the best spots in all of the Hawaiian Islands, Kealakekua Bay (16 mins away). One can kayak next to spinner dolphins most days of the week there. Historic Two-Step Beach is 22 mins away w/ its magnificent black rock coral entry where you drop in & snorkel with the most colorful fish within seconds of being in the water.
Multiple restaurants are 2-7 minutes away & the famous (plus delicious) Gypsea Gelato is only a 3-minute drive up the road.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE: A Deposit of $200 towards the balance of the reservation is required at the time of booking. The balance including taxes and any other applicable fees is due 90 days prior to your arrival date.
MONTHLY RESERVATION PAYMENT SCHEDULE: A Deposit of $200 towards the balance of the reservation is required at the time of booking. Reservations that equivalate to a stay of 4 weeks or more must have the balance including taxes and any other applicable fees paid 90 days prior to your arrival date.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made ninety (90) days or more prior to arrival shall not be responsible for the final balance of the reservation. The $200 deposit made at the time of booking is non refundable after the booking is made. Cancellations of less than ninety (90) days prior to arrival shall forfeit the entire rent and excise tax (less cleaning fees) unless we are able to re-rent the property. Refunds on any forfeiture will be issued the dollar value the unit is re-rented for during the same dates as the canceled reservation. There is no refund for early departure or no shows.
