A large covered barbecue area located by the pool with four barbecues. White Sands Village is located between downtown Kailua and Keauhou where there are theaters, grocery stores, shops and restaurants!

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made ninety (90) days or more prior to arrival shall not be responsible for the final balance of the reservation. The $200 deposit made at the time of booking is non refundable after the booking is made. Cancellations of less than ninety (90) days prior to arrival shall forfeit the entire rent and excise tax (less cleaning fees) unless we are able to re-rent the property. Refunds on any forfeiture will be issued the dollar value the unit is re-rented for during the same dates as the canceled reservation. There is no refund for early departure or no shows.

"Great place, great price!
We stayed in this unit for 3-nights. It was exactly as described! It was my wife and I and our two children. We had plenty of room and it was nice having two full bathrooms! No bugs, very clean. You can hear the waves crashing! Only downside was no air conditioning, but we knew that going in. It does get hot in the late afternoon when the sun is setting. My son was able to set up a make shift putting course on the large wrap around balcony! There was also a nice pool/hot tub and gas grills on the property! Overall A+ for us!"

We had a wonderful time at #213. It's a great space for a family of 4. the location was perfect. We loved being across from the beach. There's no AC so we always had the sliding doors open. "Great Vacation Spot!
Had a great stay at White Sands Village. Property has a great location right in front of the beach. Unit is very clean, up to date and well stocked. Management company was good at communicating throughout our stay. This unit is right in front of the action, so you have great people and car watching. This does make the place a bit noisy, with the waves crashing and the car stereos driving by. We enjoyed the action, but some may not. Overall a great unit."

"A good place to stay overall
It was a great location and I was really happy to stay in apartment apart from below concerns.

• It was too difficult to find the apartment. There are 2 separate building but not interconnected. Both are interconnected if you walk. I almost spent 30 minutes to find my unit.
• Lockbox was also too old. Once it got out, It didn’t went back again.
• Ceiling was too low. I believe it should be less than 7.7 feet only and on top of that there are fans. I was folding my blankets and somehow my hand went into the fan. I was lucky that fan was not in full speed and my hand was saved.
• Before travel, I called customer service about what we will get in the apartment. Person said I should not expect anything. Because of this we did lot of extra packing and forced to buy a checkin back with my flight. When I reached there, I found everything what I was looking for like extra towel, ICE cooler, umbrella. If I would have right information, there was no need to pack so much extra and no need to buy extra luggage with my airline.
• I was forced to buy insurance which costed my additional $50 which was also a waste for me. I am not sure if I saw any policy document.
• I should not complaint about AC as it was told me earlier that unit doesn’t have AC.

"Awesome Vacation!
We thought without AC would be difficult to us but breeze made it perfectly good! The sea view was so nice! This place is close to beaches, (one minute walk )and snorkling area! "Fantastic Beach Front View!
This condo was in the perfect location! The location to Magic Sands beach was superb and cannot be beat! The corner lanai was perfect for early morning coffee and watching the sunrise (in the east) and sunsets over the water at night. The condo was beautifully decorated and we felt right at home. Kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and utensils and having beach gear available to use was an added plus! Being right on Ali’i drive comes with road noise all hours of the day. No Ac didn’t bother us as we kept curtains closed during peak heat times and left doors open to air out condo at night. Box fans were also available to help with heat. The condo was clean and kept up well. The showers could be updated, however, they were clean, functional and didn’t bother us one bit. The staff with K&A were awesome! They answered all of our questions promptly and checked in frequently to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The location to most popular spots was only about 10 minutes in either direction which was perfect for us! The Magics grill across the street is fantastic as well! We loved our extended stay here and would most definitely stay in this condo again in the future! "

The location is perfect. We have stayed in several units at Magic Sands over the years. The end units like this one have great views of the ocean, sunset, and beach. The only pitfall of this unit is no Summer months this could be more of an issue than other times of the year. Outside of this is it truly a great place to stay. "

"Lovely Condo!
Lovely condo with everything you will need. Great pool and BBQ area. Super clean. Easy reservation process. This unit is directly across the street from one of the most popular beaches in Kona. The surf was up during our stay! We enjoyed watching the surfers and bodyboarders from the huge lanai. It was definetly loud at times. "

"Stay with Full Disclosure
Great positives! View, location, well stocked kitchen, W&D, beach essentials. However, maintenance was lacking which put a big damper on our stay. Bathroom tub & showers appeared dirty with moldy surround & shower door track; recessed ceiling light in master shower was loose causing a potential electrical hazard; lanai screen door was off the track & needs adjustment to fit properly; bedroom blinds wouldn’t open,cord to raise & lower was missing; front door screen pneumatic closer was detached flopping loose,needs to be reattached. While these aren’t serious issues, except for the master shower light electrical hazard, It does raise the question of ongoing maintenance. The price charged should reflect a well maintained unit. Until these issues are addressed I wouldn’t recommend staying here. We raised these concerns with Blake, owner of Knutson Property Mgmt., who was appreciative & pleasant to work with. He offered us late checkout, which we appreciated. "

"Super great space and location!!
The most perfect location to the beach and very clean condo. The views are spectacular. Just not handicap accessible. Lots of stairs to get to the condo. They management company was not approachable or very knowledgeable or helpful in anyway. But great place to stay!
There is only one restaurant nearby and it is not very good. Magic‘s bar and Grill.

"Home away from home!
We loved staying at White Sands! The unit was so spacious, with an amazing lanai and the best views!! Sunsets were spectacular every night, and we loved watching the activity on the beach. "White Sands #213: July 17-24, 2021
Location! This lovely 2 bd/2ba condo is located across the street from a public beach and park. The end unit overlooks the beach and park. The expansive corner Lanai is appointed with ample chairs and a table for enjoying sunset views and morning rainbows. We found the street noise, mostly music from beachgoers, to be a modest annoyance. However this reliably abated a little after sundown. In addition to the beach, there is a phenomenal snorkeling cove for experienced snorkelers and divers a short walk to the south. Calm morning waters impressed with a dazzling array of fish, living corals, and a few young green sea turtles. Please respect the fragile environment, look, do not touch or stand on the coral.

Back to the condo, there is no AC, expect to open windows and lanai doors to enjoy the tropical breeze. Fans are provided to help with air-flow. The bedrooms are comfortable, and set back from the street enough to mute street sounds. I found the wave sounds very relaxing overnight. Throughout the condo, furnishings were comfortable and in good repair.

For meal options, A full-service KTA Supermarket and several restaurant options are 2 miles to the south. Magics Beach Grill Snack Shack was nice for a grab and go breakfast in easy walking distance, homemade scones and breakfast burritos are favorites in our family. The restaurant is open lunch and dinner for sit-down dining later in the day. We enjoyed early evening cocktails and appetizers over looking the beach and tidepools, but not a full meal. Service was great, and what we had was quite good.

Laundry machines were nice and adequate for our family of four, and are located in a closet in the Master bath.

As for the complex amenities, we did not use the pool due to COVID rules, and the beach across the street. I saw the bbq grills they were nice looking, but again we did not use them. Grilling tools are provided in the unit. "

"Best location ever!
We are a family of four and the accommodations were perfect - we will be back. We loved swimming and boogie boarding at Magic Sands beach, hearing the waves all day and night, sunsets, rainbows, people watching and dolphin viewing from the huge lanai. Magics Grill across the street is delicious, too! During busy tourist season you need a reservation but we were always able to walk over and put our name on the list and get a table within a reasonable amount of time. Also nice to be near Keauhou shopping center and the road up to Kuakini. Do note that the condo isn't brand new but the price reflects that - I hope they don't renovate anytime soon because it's likely go out of our price range. Knutson was very responsive too. Also note that the unit could be difficult if you require ADA accessibility - there are elevators but no way to get to the unit without using one set of stairs. Wasn't a problem for us. Parking is directly below the unit, so handy! And there was visitor parking for my local family when they visited. We LOVE this condo. "

"The perfect family spot!
We loved everything about our condo! You can’t beat the location and sunsets from the balcony every night. I used to live on the island so I knew the beach across the street would be perfect our our teenage boys to boogie board at, which they did multiple times a day, but it’s not ideal for young children or weak swimmers because of its large waves. There’s a famous snorkel beach about a mile down the road though which is very calm and great for kids and the whole family. There’s a restaurant right across the street as well which isn’t too pricey. The pool is perfectly heated and the hot tub is actually hot at this complex and never very crowded. The residents didn’t seem too annoyed by the tourists which was nice but it’s important to be respectful of the noise. The pool doesn’t close until 10 so we went for late-night swims every night. On the weekends the locals do tend to hang out at the beach in the evenings and make noise but it didn’t bother us. The condo complex as well as the condo felt a little dated but was very clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and the condo had everything we could need. Can’t wait to go back!"

"Fantastic Condo + Great Views
We had a wonderful time at our stay in White Sands Village Unit 213. The place has a great view of the beach, sunset and pool area. The amenities at the property were great including the hot tub, pool, sauna and cooking area. Knutson also did a great job for us. I have a family member with special diets needs and when we arrived we discovered the blender wasn't working, which he needed. I called the management company, and within a few hours, they delivered a brand new blender to us. It was a small thing but meant a lot to us!! I would highly recommend this unit and Knutson! Great job!! "
