Keauhou Kona Surf & Racquet Club, Townhome#37 has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. On the lower level you'll find a fully equipped kitchen, living area & private lanai. There is also a bedroom with 2 twins, & bathroom with a walk in shower. Upstairs you'll find 2 more bedrooms... The primary has a King Sized bed, and the 2nd bedroom has a Queen Sized bed. The master bathroom has a tub/shower combo with a vanity separated to make it easier for people to get ready in the mornings.

The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club is a gated community of condominiums. There are three professional style tennis courts with night lighting. The large, remodeled swimming pool is ideal for “laps” and also for small children water activities. Showers and restrooms are conveniently located in the large pavilion near the swimming pool and tennis courts.

One of the most interesting features of the Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club are the numerous archeological sites. These preserved areas provide a glimpse of Hawaiian life years ago. Each site has a posted description of the activities that took place years and years ago.

The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club has many gardens and walking trails. Flowers and tropical foliage are abundant. There are several outdoor barbecue areas for guests to use.

The Big Island is also known as the golf capital of Hawaii with 16 courses, 11 that are located in West Hawaii.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made ninety (90) days or more prior to arrival shall not be responsible for the final balance of the reservation. The $200 deposit made at the time of booking is non refundable after the booking is made. Cancellations of less than ninety (90) days prior to arrival shall forfeit the entire rent and excise tax (less cleaning fees) unless we are able to re-rent the property. Refunds on any forfeiture will be issued the dollar value the unit is re-rented for during the same dates as the canceled reservation. There is no refund for early departure or no shows.

"Perfect Home away from home!
This cute little townhome was perfect for our family of 4. We had more than enough space and loved being able to cook our own meals! The space is nicely laid out with everything you need for your stay. The location to the pool and bbq were perfect and it was a short drive to local establishments. Great condo! The location couldn’t be better and we had enough room for a family of 4, who just went through a year of closed schools and offices, to be together without being on top of each other! You can walk to the restaurants, coffee sho, grocery and drug store right up the hill. The pool and beach are gorgeous. You’re a little closer to two of the national parks too, not having to drive through town "

A beautiful property a few miles from downtown Kona, clean and nicely equipped. It is not an ocean front or ocean view, but there is shoreline access (not for swimming). There are 2 tennis courts, a nice pool and barbeque grills right next to some Hawaiian ruins."

This property was just what we needed for our week stay. We has access to a great water front to watch the waves and see the sunset! Beaches for snorkeling were less than 5 minute drive. The property managers were very kind and helpful when I contacted them with questions. The grounds were very clean and beautiful. "Sufficient enough
The property managers were great. Quick to respond, helpful and resolved any issues in a timely manner. The unit itself is sufficient enough and provided a roof over our heads and beds to sleep in. It wasn’t our favorite place to stay, however. The owners need to update the towels & linens, the yellow couch pictured is no longer in the unit but rather replaced with an extremely uncomfortable “couch” that’s rock hard. The other couch has a pull out bed but the bed looks like it has droppings from bugs or something. It gets very hot upstairs, even with the fan. We had to close our windows at night because the road noise was so bad in the master. Overall, it was fine but I probably wouldn’t not stay in this unit again. The pool is nice and I do recommend the property managers! "

"I'd go again
I think the only problems I had was that it was very hot, wish the unit had A/C! And the screen door couldn't lock but we couldn't have the main door shut because it was hot. Other than that, it was a nice place, instructions to the place, were very easy to follow. Would definitely go back tho', maybe get a place by the beach next time. "

"It was just "ok"
I have stayed at several s and I just expected more. More toilet tissue, more hand soap, more decorations etc. I just felt that this location provided the bare minimum. The price was not cheap so again my expectations were that I should not have to go purchase more toilet paper during my stay. There was a lot of road noise, no TVs in the bedrooms etc. I am not there to watch TV however it is nice to have it on while you are winding down at the end of the day. The unit was clean, the location was good."

This is our second stay in Keahou-Kona Surf and Racquet Club. Location is great--near to highway so we can avoid Alii Dr. and great snorkeling beach. There was a heat wave, in the 90s every day, while we were there so no air conditioning was noticed and missed. Property was clean, attractively decorated, comfy bed, well-stocked kitchen. Manager responded quickly to pest control issue--just a few hours and quickly remedied. I would recommend this property to others. It's a great complex with tennis courts and pool."

"Keauhou Kona
This condo was clean and spacious, and served its purpose for us. We like the location of this complex on the big island as it puts you "in the middle of things" and it can save you a little driving time when you're exploring. This particular unit is right next to the busy road and is very noisy, so just be aware of that. Their starter for supplies is pretty sparse, but it is stated in your rental agreement, so be sure to read it. Other units we've rented during this stay, and previous ones on this island, were more generous. We left behind dishwasher detergent, laundry pods, kleenex, paper towels. I don't mind paying it forward, but, just sayin. . . Property manager was very good at responding to questions."

"Our first family trip to the Big Island 🌴
Surf and Racquet club is a fantastic compleks with brand new tennis courts and a pool. It's right on the water with beautiful views of the ocean. The beach adjacent to the complex is rocky but very nice for morning walks. Only 8 minutes walking away is the best snorkeling we have ever done (Kahuluu bay). We stayed at townhouse #37 and had a very comfortable stay. We had everything we needed. Rooms were clean and very spacious. Would definitely come back and highly recommend it. "

"Excellent value in Kona!
Our family of 6 (5 adults and a 6 year-old child) thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kona. Check-in was easy, the condo was easy to find thanks to the detailed information provided prior to our arrival. The place was very clean and the cleaning staff had even left a note with their number. The management company e-mailed a day after our arrival to make sure everything was to our satisfaction and their staff were friendly and helpful.

The location is great - right on Ali’i Drive, at a walking distance from Kahalu’u Beach Park, which is a great place for snorkeling. There’s also a great pool and a cute little beach to watch the sunset.

Highly recommended!
