Kona Reef is a concrete building complex on the seashore with a heated pool, a BBQ area, and a spa. With its much coveted 24-hour security and free parking, it is in the perfect Kona location and is reasonably priced to meet your budget.

The Primary Bedroom features a Queen size bedroom with lovely linens, all provided to ensure your utmost comfort. The Living Room includes a Sofa-Bed to accommodate up to 4 guests.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with all the equipment and small appliances you could need for an enjoyable vacation. The Hawaiian apartment features air conditioning and a washer and dryer. Although there is an elevator on-site, there are a few steps that must be walked to get to the ground-floor condos.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made ninety (90) days or more prior to arrival shall not be responsible for the final balance of the reservation. The $200 deposit made at the time of booking is non refundable after the booking is made. Cancellations of less than ninety (90) days prior to arrival shall forfeit the entire rent and excise tax (less cleaning fees) unless we are able to re-rent the property. Refunds on any forfeiture will be issued the dollar value the unit is re-rented for during the same dates as the canceled reservation. There is no refund for early departure or no shows.

Wonderful location and well stocked rental at Kona Reef. We spent a week at B7 and everything was clean and the unit had everything from boardgames, coolers, beach chairs and children's toys. Pool was wonderful and the view of the beach and sunset were amazing."

"Beautiful Kona
The location of the rental was nice and close to downtown coastal Kona. Great restaurants nearby as well. The rental is a bit older but had what we needed. The sofa bed was not too comfy but was fine for a week. Some of the doors and handles inside needed cleaning as there were dirty areas around and near the handles. Directions to locate the condo on property were a bit confusing. Driving directions were fine but trying tonfind building B needs more detail. "

"RC Anniversary
We had a great experience and felt the pictures and description on were accurate. The building was easy to find and the communication we received prior, during and after our stay was received and appreciated.
The property was clean and maintained, we would recommend this condo to others and or rent again. We felt these items could be updated and that would be the utensils and silverware, as well as more plastic drinkware. Again, this would not deter me from recommending this unit.
One other item we would comment on is there are signs everywhere saying no smoking in or around the building, (which we support), but many times throughout the day people were smoking marijuana on the property grounds. I feel that if you disallow smoking that should include marijuana as well.

The proximity of the property is stellar, so easy to walk downtown and to many food/drink establishments, as well as activities. We did 2 activities while there and that was the Parasailing and Submarine. Would recommend."

"Kona Reef
Unit was clean ,in a great location for shopping and restaurants . We had the ability to enjoy the pool or sit by the beach. BBQ area was well set up took a while for BBQ’s to heat up. Reminder do not leave anything out on drying rack over night on patio, had two bathing suits and a t-shirt stolen! The beach area has a few stragglers that hang around. Overall we were happy with unit."

"First time in Hawaii, 50th wedding anniversary
It was a good apartment. We watched great sunrises over the public beach next door. We had a resident chicken that came by every morning for a cracker. The sunsets are great ocean front, with the locals blowing on their conch shells. Didn’t need a car, could walk to places to eat, drink and shop. Wish we could have stayed longer. "

"Another trip in the books.
We love staying at Kona Reef because of the location in proximity to the heart of Kona and being oceanfront. Our only complaint really is the bathroom and more particularly the fan in the bathroom. Every time I went in there, my Apple Watch would notify me that it was a loud environment (that is an understatement). The bathroom needs a major facelift, at bare minimum the fan and shower doors need to be replaced.

Overall we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the little gift bag and the fact that there were beach chairs in the unit."

"Paradise
This spotlessly clean unit had everything we needed, and more: beach chairs, boogie boards, an ice chest, and beach towels. I loved sitting on the patio, listening to the waves and watching the surfers. The unit is within walking distance to shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, perfectly situated, and fully stocked unit next to the beach. There are shopping bags in the closet, so check in before you hit up Costco or Wal-Mart, We can’t wait to return!"

"Great location, lovely view
This was a late booking for us so we were pleased to find this unit available. Lovely view of Honl’s beach. The furnishings were in good shape. The complex is in the perfect location to walk downtown and all the food and shopping. Very nice oceanfront pool area always had plenty of chairs and a nice BBQ area. We liked going over for the nightly conch ceremony at sunset.

The AC keeps the living area very comfortable, though people who sleep hot will want to note the bedroom does not have AC. Bed was very comfortable. All in all a great value for what we paid. "

Very poor experience. Sheets had a urine smell, condo wad dirty (even after a 2nd cleaning), lamps did not work, dirty dishes and door to lanai could not be properly locked."

"Close to Town

"B7 Great location very clean
The pictures show the real view from the unit, just hop over the wall and your on the beach.
Close to restaurants and shops but quiet. Parking was always easy and close to the place.
Air conditioning worked great.Had a couple of beach chairs (but no umbrella) that was nice.
The rental agent, Knutson & Assocs. were very helpful in assuring we had everything we needed for our stay
