CHANGING RESERVATION DATES: If you need to change reservation dates, we will do our best to help make the requested change, subject to prior reservations. Date changes are not possible after the balance payment is due, other than extensions to the existing reservation dates. Any "date change" requested after the balance payment is due shall be considered a Cancellation of the original stay dates.

CANCELLATIONS: A cancellation becomes effective from the date that it is received in writing, by e-mail or fax.

"Nice condo in Waikiki
The living room could use an air conditioner or screens on the sliding door and louvered windows. Not so much for flying bugs, since you're on the 25th floor, it's for the potential little birds that come up to visit the lanai. We always close the louvers till the opening is too small for the birds, when asleep and out and about."

"Wonderful Stay!
We enjoyed our stay! Condo is in a great location! Plenty of restaurants nearby and there's a grocery within walking distance. Beach is a short walk — about 2 blocks. The International Market Place is one block away.

The condo has plenty of dishes for us to use. It’s great there’s a washer/dryer inside the unit. Though there’s a AC unit in the bedroom, we kept all the windows opened and didn’t use the AC. We were there in September so not sure how hot it gets during the summer months.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again. "

Cons
Only one window ac unit and in master, so if you have 4 guests and 2 stay on pull out couch it gets extremely warm in the living room area as there’s only windows for air to blow through. Not used to that, especially in summer heat. They brought an extra fan but didn’t help much.
Washer/dryer is small so has to do multiple loads because you can’t overfill or it doesn’t clean well.
Washer smelled moldy but they came and brought a cleaning packet to run in self clean mode.
Dryer also took long to dry had to run it 2x most times.
Shower tub needs to be recaulked and/or replaced. Couldn’t tell if stained or dirty and vent in restroom doesn’t work.
Also wish they had more electric sockets conveniently placed to charge electronic devices luckily I brought an extension cord.
Lastly, out of their control as more of a building maintenance problem but there was long wait for elevators first 2 days of stay because only 1 of 3 worked, but they finally opened up second elevator and that helped tremendously. Elevator gets packed as there’s over 25 floors of residents

Overall it was a decently priced, well stocked unit. Just wish it had another AC, cleaner restroom, and better quality washer/dryer.

I would not personally book again, but would recommend if it’s in your budget and you can bear with the aforementioned. "

"Nice reasonable rental condo
Rental unit was exactly as described in listing. It was clean and well maintained; in a good location; parking in bldg; 24 hour security; PM Vincent helpful with checkin and how to work the 2 remotes for TV. What made it enjoyable was all appliances were newer models and well maintained. The only drawback is having instruction sheet on how to work TV remote and overhead ceiling fan/light combo. We would definitely rent this unit again!"

We booked through Captain Cook and they were great to deal with. Vincent and James were very responsive and helpful as onsite managers. We would definitely book with them again.

As for the unit: Pros: Great views, relatively quiet, bed is comfortable. Con: We had to have maintenance in just about everyday for something that was broken, sofa bed, toilet, lanai doors and one day the elevators in the building went out and we had to walk the 25 flights of stairs. The pool is very small.

The unit is in need of some maintenance. Livingroom furniture needs to be replaced, kitchen is missing some key items and toilet should be replaced.

建物の古さは否めませんが、部屋はリノベーションされ、とてもオシャレで、広く感じさせるようなソファや家具の配置も良かったですし、何より上層階角部屋で私が重視する眺望が良かったです。部屋の窓がスクロールさせ空けるタイプだったので、朝食を食べながら海を眺め、心地よい風を感じ、夜は山側の夜景をバルコニーから眺めるという毎日でした。

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here! Bed was comfy, enough towels for our stay and the washer and dryer was great! A couple callouts, major construction while we were staying, not sure if that was the cause of the water pressure being so low? But the shower dripped water out and we had a tricky time showering. Because of construction, 2 out of 3 elevators for the entire building, took a while getting up and down but not that big of a deal. Other than that, we really loved staying here and would definitely stay again at this unit! Mahalo! "

"Fairway Villa Spring Break Vacation
We enjoyed our stay at the Fairway Villa during our March Spring Break. The Building was in the perfect location so close to the beach. All the restaurants and stores are nearby. The suite was spacious, clean and well maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we need to make our meals. We were provided a vacuum to clean up all the sand we tracked from the beach. The bedroom was comfortable we slept great in the bed. The bedroom also had a second tv which was great for our daughter! We were also provided beach chairs, umbrellas, beach mats, a boogie board, a cooler for our drinks and of course beach towels.
We had everything we need. Byron was very helpful and answered our questions immediately. He was very professional and provided all the instructions for the suite as soon as we arrived. We highly recommend this place if you are planning to stay near Waikiki Beach."

Pretty good location as it is an easy walk to the main streets and to the beach. Views of the Pacific Ocean and the golf course/mountains. Fairly easy check in. Washer/dryer convenience and a roof top deck. With repairs only one barbecue operational and the general area upstairs is off limits except for the pool. Bathroom a bit dated. Construction noise each day due to water pipe repairs. Only two elevators operating so fairly long waits for the elevator either up or down. Great location for the parking spot on P2. "

"Ideal location in Waikiki
We had a very pleasant stay here and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable apartment in the heart of Waikiki Beach. 2 blocks from the beach and gorgeous makai and mauka views of Mānoa Valley and the Ala Wai canal. Rainbows daily. The apartment is nicely decorated and updated, and is a comfortable home away from home. Appliances are new and there's laundry in-unit. Garage parking made life easy. Ceiling fans kept breezes circulating through the unit, with a/c located in the bedroom.

The only criticism is that the sofa should probably be replaced soon. (We had 3 adults staying so the sofa was needed as a bed.) Also, the building is undergoing a good deal of maintenance so the elevators are slow (one was out of order), and often crowded.

James was responsive and super helpful, and check in was seamless. Mahalo for the hookipa, James and Captain Cook team."

"Rental Review
The space itself was nice and as expected, and all the people we worked with were pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, the building is undergoing major renovations (which we were not told about in advance), which also included some asbestos removal. We were planning to hold a gathering BBQ with local friends and family for my daughter's birthday at the rooftop pool area, but this was also closed due to renovations. If I would have known in advance that the renovations were taking place, I would not have rented the space. Captain Cook did provide a discount because of the renovations, but it was a damper on our stay."

The location of this condo is excellent. A few short blocks to the beach, restaurants, & shopping. The building residents are very nice & quiet. There is a building under construction nearby but we didn’t find it disruptive because your usually not in the condo during their work hours. We bought groceries & cooked in, used the provided chairs, umbrellas & cooler at the beach & parked a car in the very conveniently located free covered parking space. At first glance the building lobby & hallways don’t look like much but condo, the location & quiet far exceeds those things."

Fairway Villa 2502 is a perfect, almost-penthouse experience on Waikiki for a family of 3-4. The condo is spacious and well-provisioned in the kitchen and linen closet, and with beach supplies. While its location off the major hotel strip makes for a 10 minute walk to the beach, the benefits are fewer crowds and noise, and easier driving in and out of Waikiki. Our Property Manager James was awesome. The rental was in a great location, walking distance to everything in Waikiki. The rental was very bright and open. The reserved parking space was ideal, however, the only small issue was the (non-heating) dryer. Washer and dryers are a huge must for me and my family when travelling. James accomodated our dryer issue so I appreciate that. Would stay here again. "

"Spacious and spotless
My husband and I stayed for 10 nights with our two adult daughters who shared the sofa bed which they said was very comfy, as was our bed. There was plenty room to unpack all our suitcases into drawers and the wardrobe, and store the cases in the wardrobe also. The view was amazing, out to the beach, the city to the west and over the canal and golf course to the north. The new air con in bedroom was great during the day but didn’t really need at night in May as the ceiling fans were adequate for sleeping under. Huge fridge with ice maker. Great dishwasher, washer and dryer. Awesome tv screen in lounge and bedroom. Very well furnished although the roller blinds in the lounge didn’t block the light and as there so many windows it was very light at night so if sleeping there you will need an eye mask. Also quite loud city noise in lounge but bedroom quite quiet. Bathroom was small but very well equipped with hair dryer, straighteners. Shower over bath was ok. Plenty storage for four peoples toiletries and makeup. However the lights above the vanity were very hot. Some non-heat emitting bulbs would be good. The Food Pantry down the road is still operating which was great. Overall loved the room and location was superb. Walk to beach through International Marketplace between Kūhiō and Kalākaua Less than 10 mins. Central to shops and restaurants. Would stay again. Definitely would book with Captain Cook again. James was lovely and online communication with office was always prompt and friendly. Swimming pool warm and clean. Plenty loungers. Bbq spotless. View from the roof incredible. 24 hour security in lobby. What more can I say. Choose 2502, you won’t regret it. "

"Just like the pictures
We were very happy with our condo. It met all of our expectations. It's right on the canal so we enjoyed many morning walks and it is only a few blocks from Waikiki beach. Parking was great. Quiet rooftop pool with gorgeous views. The building is very well maintained and clean! There is a security guard in the lobby 24/7. Our unit was on a corner at the end away from the elevator. No shared walls. We never heard a thing. Definite city noise but we expected that. The a/c unit in the bedroom is a bit noisy but we didn't end up needing it through the night as there was a ceiling fan. Good air flow through the unit with the levered windows open. Captain Cook were great to deal with and it felt more comfortable than dealing with other vacation rental websites we have used in the past. They even called mid way through our trip to check in and see if we needed anything. Excellent customer service ! We would use them again and we would rent unit #2502 again for sure ! Mahalo. "

"Five Weeks in Paradise
Fairway Villas is located in what we consider the "sweet spot" of Waikiki. It is near bus stops, a short walk to the beach, beautiful views toward any direction, and an easy walk (or short bus ride) from the interesting parts of Waikiki.

Working with Capital Cook Resorts was efficient, helpful, and pleasant. They provided all the information and arrangements we needed to secure the rental. They had the unit ready to go when we arrived and we had no need to get any help from them during our stay. All essentials were present in the unit. The unit was as advertised and all our expectations were met.

The only down factor is that the nearby Food Pantry (grocery store) is closing in March 2019 to be replaced with (yet another) housing development. We will miss what this business provided in future stays.

"Great Base for Our Oahu Vacation
We stayed for 6 days at Fairway Villa #2502. Great view from the 25th floor and easy walk within Waikiki for beach, restaurants, shops and groceries. Check-in was done remotely since we came in around 10 pm from the airport. Very smooth process. Place is easy to find and the parking spot was very convenient (and included). Easy to come and go for driving to Diamond Head, North Shore, Pearl Harbour (anywhere really). Condo was clean and well equipped. Security in the lobby 24/7 and they were nice people doing their job well. Location was safe for walking at night too. As you can see from the pictures, it was spacious enough for 2 people and the opening the windows gave the place an airy feel. Nice and bright. Bed was comfortable, lots of space to store luggage, etc. Grocery store is just down the street. Only small complaint is the noise from the air conditioner ... the AC worked fine, just noisy. It helps to keep the ceiling fans going. Thanks."
