PAYMENT SCHEDULE: A $300.00 USD Down Payment, applied toward the total balance, is required at the time of booking in order to secure your reservation. For Daily Rentals, the balance payment is due 45 days prior to Check-In. For Monthly Rentals, the balance payment is due 60 days prior to Check-In. This balance payment will be automatically charged according to this schedule to the credit card placed on file at the time of booking, unless other arrangements have been approved by CCR prior to the balance due date.

For Daily Rental reservations made within 45 days of Check-In, and Monthly Rental reservations made within 60 days of Check-In, payment in full is required at the time of booking, and the Cancellation Policy, as stated below, will apply.

CHANGING RESERVATION DATES: If you need to change reservation dates, we will do our best to help make the requested change, subject to prior reservations. Date changes are not possible after the balance payment is due, other than extensions to the existing reservation dates. Any "date change" requested after the balance payment is due shall be considered a Cancellation of the original stay dates.

CANCELLATIONS: A cancellation becomes effective from the date that it is received in writing, by e-mail or fax.

For Daily Rental reservations cancelled more than 45 days prior to Check-In, and Monthly Rental reservations cancelled more than 60 days prior to Check-In, there is a $100.00 USD Cancellation Fee. Your Down Payment will be refunded less this fee.

For Daily Rental reservations cancelled within 45 days of Check-In, and Monthly Rental reservations cancelled within 60 days of Check-In, there will be no refund unless we are able to re-rent the property for some or all of the time you committed to and refunds may be less than the actual revenue paid. "Lovely Place for a Small Family!
This is the first time I have ever stayed at a vacation rental and it was fantastic! I stayed here with my parents, and three adults were able to stay very comfortably in the space.

The amenities provided in the room, such as pans, dish soap, and laundry detergent, was more than enough for the five days we vacationed in Hawai'i. The room was very spacious and it was generous to have two TVs. The room had a charming feel to it.

The BEST part was the view, whether its daytime or nighttime, my family loved going out to the balcony and having breakfast. It was very clean!

The only con we encountered was the parking. We had to request a new spot because the parking for this room was on the fifth floor, which didn't have elevator access for my disabled father. Also, the gate to access the parking has a really short timer, it was quite scary to go through!

All in all, the location and accommodations were perfect, and our property manager Vincent was great as well! We will definitely stay here again. "

"Comfortable and Clean
We stayed a week. The room was clean and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and it was nice having a TV in that room. Very nice TV in living room. Parking space was nice to have. The 7th floor location on Kuhio Street was a bit noisy, but that is to be expected in Waikiki. The AC quit working and was promptly repaired. The condo had a few quirks, we had to remove a kitchen cabinet door knob to use the oven, the door handle to the lanai is loosely attached and came off once. The cable box in the bedroom required daily rebooting. Loved having access to a hot tub and the pool/public area on the 6th floor was very nice."

"Hooked Again!
We have stayed at the Four Paddle for the last 4 yrs. and continue to love it due to it's convenient location to all amenities. This was our first time staying in #702 and found the unit had good space and was nice and bright. Found it well stocked and if we needed anything Paul was just a call away. Loved the bathroom layout, don't miss having a tub that takes up unnecessary space. The unit could benefit from some upgrades, ie: paint, furniture (lounge chair/sofa), carpet stretching. Only real concern was the unpleasant odour in the hallway, which appeared to be emanating from the unit across the hall, this was addressed with both Paul and the building manager. While it did improve a bit after we raised the issue, it was still evident on most days. Outside of this we were very happy with the unit and are booked in it for next year and hopefully many more years to follow. As always the Captain Cook staff were excellent and helped to make our stay a very pleasant one. "

We really liked the property and location. Pool & patio area are very nice & great security throughout. Having parking was also a plus. One major complaint about our unit was the horrible urine smell in the hallway! It was explained that the neighbor is handicap but that does not excuse nothing being done about it. Mentioned it to maintenance - he was obviously aware of it but no solution was planned. Already booked for next year but different floor."

"Great condo in a good location
We stayed 7 nights and found the condo to be spacious for the 4 of us. Fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher and washer/dryer was great. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the mornings having breakfast and watching what was happening around us.
There is construction across the road, but didn't really worry us, we were up around 7 anyway, and out alot of the day and they were all packed up around 3.30pm and quiet when we were ready to use the pool area. Pool area was great, not crowed like big hotels, enjoyed the spa, although the temperature was very hot and would have been more enjoyable a few degrees cooler. Car parking space was right next to the stairwell door, so easy to get to.
The bed was comfortable, so was the couch and easy chair. Very clean and tidy. Easy walking distance to all the main shopping area of Waikiki. And easy to find our way around. We would stay again if we ever return to Hawaii and would recommend the property.
Only complaint we had was the awful smell in the hallway, some days worse than others, we think it was coming from the condo across the hall from us, not pleasant at all."

The only comment I would make about this stay is that the apartment across the passage #701 has a stench of urine emanating from it and although I couldn't smell it inside the apartment it was over whelming in the passage and at times it hit you as you stepped out of the lift. I know you cannot do anything about it but you should be aware of it."

"Location is perfect for restaurants, beach,shopping
This rental was efficient and clean..I thought having a washer and dryer was a plus..but 1 small load took 2 hours to dry..towels 4 hours..There was an odd odor in our hallway..thought maybe someone had a dog..but was told when asked about it, it is a handicap gentleman directly across the door..knowing this factor..one would think there are plenty of ways for the staff to eliminate this problem in the hallway.. there were also some noticeable stains on the carpet which again could have been taking care of before our rental..The front door staff are very unfriendly..A Hello or Goodnight would have been nice..( not a big deal though) Overall ,the place worked for our needs..mainly due to the location.I would recommend this to a friend only for that reason.."

"Great walking location to beach
I didn't realize it until I stayed here how important my view from the lanai was. Although the room and ammeneties nice, the giant sky rise under construction in front of us was noisy and ugly. "Good Location
The location of Four Paddle is ideal and very convenient for the access to Waikiki area, and short drive to Alamoana, and even scenic Diamond Head area. Living room and bed room is well organized, and kitchen is well equipped with utencils and a variety of dishes. "good stay.
We had a nice stay. We stayed in the same apt ten years ago. The apt was clean and the bed comfortable.We missed having the sun all day as the two big buildings in front cut off the sun at three thirty in the afternoon. There is some noise from the building going up across from the Unit.We liked that they updated the counter top in the kitchen and the Bathroom has been updated but the rugs and furniture need to be updated also as the are the same as ten years ago. We liked having the beach chairs and plenty of towels. A few things were missing for us this time around no tee towels to dry your dishes as I did not always like to use the dishwasher and no cleaning supplies for cleaning the glass in the bathroom and only some weird hard stuff to clean the toilet. I like to keep the apt clean when I am there. We enjoyed having two tvs this time but the one in the living room is difficulty to use so you need to leave instructions on how to use it. We enjoyed that you have Net flicks also."

"Very Good Place to Stay for the Cost - but construction noise
This rental was perfect for our young family vacation. We were traveling with our 2.5 year old son and it was perfect. Very clean and updated. The bed was very comfortable. Would definitely fit a family of 4 very well. The kitchen is well stocked. The washer and dryer worked really well (they provided a lot of detergent pods). The community BBQ was a hit! It was great to have the lanai and the option to close the doors off so if the kiddo was napping, we could still function. There were many towels provided esp beach towels which were much appreciated. Some cons - you are on the 7th floor so you do get a lot of street noise that can start in the early morning. Also, they are building the Ritz' 2nd tower right across the street. It's loud. Kinda cool for the kiddo to watch but it's a lot of noise if you are there during the week and they start at 7 am. Plus, it's not very pretty to look at. The pool is right below the window which is fun and you can see how busy it is before you go down. Kiddo loved the pool and it was almost always empty of other swimmers. The TV remotes need new batteries - minor detail, but we think other tenants might have switched batteries bc only 1/4 remotes worked. There is only a shower in the unit, no tub which I wasn't aware of or didn't read the complete description. The AC unit was much appreciated and worked quickly. Lots of natural light. The internet worked well. The main door squeaked and squawked a lot. The parking space was perfect in the fact that it's included in the rental cost; it is on the top floor of the building but its close to the elevator. There are not many restaurants super close by but a 15 minute walk with a toddler. Location is pretty good for the area and a bit more secluded than areas just 4-5 blocks away. Very secure building which was nice. Not many views to expect from this facility. Very happy we stayed here vs. the busy streets closer to Waikiki Beach. "

"Another great hawaiian break
The unit lived up to expectations, and was exactly as described/displayed on the website. We were able to get in immediately on arrival, and a rep from the company met us shortly after to review the property. He was very friendly and gave us his contact details in case there were any problems, which there weren't. "Quality accommodation perfect for our needs
Four Paddle 702 was perfect for our family of four, conveniently located, quality furnishings and appliances and many thoughtful extras such as foil, cling wrap, paper towel etc. provided. The property manager Paul was very helpful and obliging, kindly allowing us access earlier the day we arrived as the property was fortunately vacant, so we didn't have to wait for several hours till check in time. ABC shop for groceries and other shops located a couple of minutes away. The pool and spa were great. Highly recommended and would definitely book again"

The property was spacious, very clean and equipped with basic goods you would need daily. I especially liked the washer and dryer in the unit.
The location is also great. It is located in the center of Waikiki. You have easy access to bus, shopping and beach."

"Great Condo At A Great Location
Condo had everything we needed in a great location. The full kitchen allowed a family of 4 to cook some meals at home. Everything needed was within walking distance. There is construction across the street but it didn't bother us. The place was clean and well equiped. A\C works really well!"

The apartment itself was clean and the perfect size for 3 people. It had plenty of appliances/kitchenware and extra blankets,towels, etc if needed. It is walking distance to the Waikiki shopping district. The AC, W/D, free parking and WiFi were all great amenities. The only cons are that the hallway, elevator and the apartment door across from us seemed run down. But once you open the door to the apartment, it's pretty nice. Also, the sofa pullout bed is old and not comfy to sleep in since it dips in the middle of the mattress. Overall, it is worth the price!"

"Perfect apt with a good location
Excellent apt a few streets back from the main drag. Meeting the manager was very smooth, apt large and spacious and was really relaxing. My only suggestion would be to have some large beach towels available in apt along with some basic kitchen items for arrival - tea/sugar/coffee/filters - just a few to make it really welcoming. "

"Comfortable Apartment, Good Building
The building staff are polite and efficient, and the people who own or rent there are pleasant. There are many busses. The apartment was very comfortable, and the kitchen was easy to use. I could have used a taller reading lamp on the right side of the couch (as you look at it), but that's not critical. My not-easy-to-please wife says "excellent", and I agree."

" 3 day vacation in Waikiki
Great location and great view from the condo lanai. It was an easy 10 minute walk to the Waikiki beaches. The building is really well maintained and there is a guard at the front of the hotel. The condo is really clean and nice! The only negative point was that, since we were four, my two teenagers had to sleep on the sofabed in the livingroom but it was really unconfortable: our daughter slept with us (!!!) in the king bed and my son slept on the floor using the sofabed cushions! The wifi works well.

"Our disappointing stay at Four Paddles
We found our apartment, #702, left a lot to be desired for the price we were charged. The rug had obviously not been cleaned in a very long while with huge stains on it, a couple of which we cleaned ourselves. In our correspondence we had repeatedly requested twin beds but had to locate the sheets, spreads etc to convert from queen - one of the pillows was disgustingly covered in drool stains and needed 2 pillowcases to cover them.The bathroom has mould and was so small that if we had been 15 lbs heavier we would have been unable to get into the tub or access the toilet. All together, we were very disappointed to pay the second highest rent in the building to be met with these conditions. In fact as we left it cleaner than upon our arrival,we find it ironical that we paid a cleaning fee of $135 up front. Incidentally we feel that an adjustment for that should be made to us.I'm sorry that this is such a negative review but hope that it will somehow benefit future tenants.
As stated in the questionaire above, the building and its amenities were very satisfactory, it was our apartment that fell far short of expectations."

This condo is exactly as pictured. The view isn't great, but there are lots of windows and it is very bright. It has all the amenities. It wouldn't be great for more than two adults because of the bathroom setup...the tub and toilet are behind a sliding door (very tight space), and the sink/counter/mirror is right out in the open in the bedroom area. Be prepared to walk alot, it's on the far end of Waikiki from the Zoo. The carpet and bedspread are dated, and the bed is quite hard, but it's good value on the whole."

I have stayed at several of the Captain Cook rentals and have been very satisfied every time. This rental was the most spacious and well appointed. Full kitchen, good bed linens and plush towels. Friends who were staying in $250+/night hotel had better view but less than 1/4 the space and had to pay for parking and internet."
