Guests staying in Shorewood 201 enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the beach as far as the eye can see. After hours in the surf, vacationers return from the ocean via the private beach walkway and then dip into the oceanfront swimming pool or a seasonally heated spa. Pool is Heated March 1 - April 30 and Oct 1 - November 30. Toddlers have a separate wading pool. Shorewood is a five story elevator building located in South Forest Beach. Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Shorewood is two blocks from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. This nicely furnished newly updated and freshly outfitted property features a comfortable outdoor patio set on the balcony overlooking the ocean. The condo has great laminate flooring, new updated kitchen, and new furnishings throughout. The A/C System was replaced in May of 2019 as well as a new washer & dryer in August of 2019. All of the bathrooms were completely renovated in April 2022. King bed in the master bedroom, Two Twins in bedroom 2, King in Bedroom 3, and a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room.

"wonderful week and a half
We have stayed at 201 for the last 7 years and it feels like our 2nd home. We really love this unit and Shorewood. The refrig door does not close completely and the repair man was in to work on the ice maker but we still had no ice. We also would have liked to have a broom to sweep up the floors and the patio. "

"Beautiful condo, wonderful view
Everything was as expected. It was a very spacious 3 bedroom condo that was beautifully decorated in an amazing location.

The downside was the smell of the condo. It was VERY musty and we couldn’t clear it out. For that reason, I probably wouldn’t stay here again. I didn’t get a response from the office when asking for help with it. Also, there was no shower curtain in one of the bathrooms, we had to use the other bathrooms for showers. "

"Beautiful Ocean Views
The condo was spacious and up to date with beautiful new bathrooms and a gorgeous view of the ocean. Overall we were happy with the condo but it did need some TLC. It needed a deep clean, floors and area rugs were dirty. It would have helped if there was a broom or vacuum available as well. The staff were amazing with any issues or concerns we had, answered/fixed immediately. "

"Great location- but very crowded and loud this week
We have stayed at the Shorewood property for over 12 years at various condos. We like this unit the best bc of the location to pool and ocean... normally. We usually go in June. July was overcrowded. Great location. Very Clean. Multiple families were staying in the units both above and below our unit were very noisy- sometimes until 1 AM.
The pool was packed and people decided to play loud music during the day there which made it feel much less family friendly than usual and more spring break.
Our check in was much slower than in past years as well. The property was cleaned and ready at 1 PM yet we were not given the code until almost 5 PM - the rental office said they were short staffed for inspecting the property and this caused the delay. We really like Shorewood, but we will not go back here in July. again.

"Great location/nice views
Great location for walking to shops, eats, drinks. Rooms were spacious and bedding was plentiful and comfortable. Lots of windows and light, but nice blackout curtains to get it good and dark when needed. Bathrooms were mediocre - poor lighting, noisy fans, 2 out of 3 not updated, master shower not very clean upon arrival. Flat screen TVs in every room, but all were low quality and small.
Since condo sleeps 6, would have been nice to have enough seating for 6 on balcony.
Hot tub was always crowded with people day and night, so we were not able to use it, and the pool was not heated in December. HOA should reconsider this; it was 70 degrees while we were there. Construction was in progress on nearby units, but thankfully not close enough to be too disturbing.
Overall, an enjoyable stay, and we would stay here again, although I think I would prefer to stay in a higher up unit for better views of the ocean."

While the property looks lovely in pictures, the furniture is quite cheap, the bathrooms need updating, and it was extremely dirty. While it did not meet our standards, the management company was responsive when we reached out and drove over to seek understanding on whether unexpected construction would interrupt our stay. We appreciated this; however, this unit needs a deep cleaning. We would not rent this property again."

"Beach week
The property and location were excellent. But we did encounter a few issues. The air conditioning did not work well in 2 was hot & muggy. Fans helped but not great for sleeping. They checked it out and said the unit was new. The dryer was broken and ripped 2 items of clothing. The managers did replace it the next day. There was a very strong "sulfur" smell in the washing machine water and the master bathroom. Had to "live" with it. Very little storage for beach items and bathroom items. The unit is beautiful, we loved the location and the pool. The dining/living area was beautiful and spacious. Not sure we will book this unit again mostly because of the A/C problems."

Our condo was very nicely decorated and in a stellar location. We did have an issue with the master bath shower drain clogging up. We had to buy drain cleaner to remedy the situation. Also the queen bed in the back bedroom could use a new mattress. The condo kitchen was well stocked."
