"Great trip to Hilton Head Island
We rented a great property from (Property Management). We have used them before and they are a great company which we highly recommend. The rental was in a great location, close to bars, restaurants and shops. There was a pool and tennis courts available to use and the area was peaceful. The property was clean, well fitted out, plenty of towels/linens, starter pack of essentials and clear instructions on how to work things. We had an issue with the Internet and contacted (Property Management) who responded immediately a d resolved the issue very quickly. Their team are very efficient and helpful and communication is very good. Check in was quick and seamless. Highly recommend them. "

"In need of many updates
My mom and I chose Townhouse Tennis 18 for our annual mother/daughter trip to Hilton Head Island, and we were both shocked and disappointed with the unit.
From the start, I found the cleaning subpar. There were food crumbs all over the dining table and on the sofa cushions and there was sand on the floor. All of the carpets and area rugs are very stained and in desperate need of replacement. The bedding was shabby in the twin/double room. Initially, upon entering the house on day one, it smelled of cleaning solution but by the end of the week it started smelling musty, and the fridge and freezer smelled musty the whole week. The toilet in bathroom attached to the queen bedroom was leaking onto the floor from the base of the toilet and the AC unit, that is housed over the kitchen, wasn’t draining properly so it overflowed and was leaking thru one of the can lights over the kitchen sink, so we had to have an HVAC serviceman and plumber come into the house over the course of two days. The shower stall in the downstairs main bathroom was not cleaned well as the area inside the shower by the door hinge was pretty gross, and the shower pan had cracks (I didn’t verify if they appeared re-sealed or not), but standing in it had obvious soft spots indicating issues underneath. The vent fan cover in the downstairs main bathroom was not on the vent and the visible unit was disgusting looking, covered with dust, rust and grime. They provide plenty of bath towels but they are very small and thin. The accent chair in the living room was very visibly dingy and stained.
The good? The view from the patio (the primary reason we selected this unit) is truly lovely. The kitchen is very well stocked. The beds were reasonably comfortable and extra pillows and bedding was provided. The unit is large and very convenient to Coligny and other shops and restaurants.
We would not stay here again and would not recommend. "

Nice views, convenient to everything in HH, townhouse is a little dated, leather couches are not comfortable (cold to sit on). We found a blood stain on one of our pillowcases and we called management about it, they apologized and offered to bring us a new pillowcase but we had already put it in the wash. That was not a pleasant find. Beach was nice, pool is convenient. I would stay in Shipyard again, but closer to the beach. "

"Hilton Head Shipyard Review
We had an awesome time on Hilton Head and really enjoyed this unit. It was spacious for 4 people, had great views, a walkable tennis court, and easy access to Pope Street. We look forward to staying here again next winter!"

"Great Week in Hilton Head
We were very satisfied w/ our rental. Both the size and location were perfect. We loved how close the unit was to both the pool and tennis courts. We loved that it felt private on the back patio The only suggestion I would have is to have cleaning people bring some of the previous renters’ trash with them as they leave. When we arrived there was trash overflowing onto the front porch and we had to live with it until trash pick up on Tuesday. The washing machine also has trouble midway through the cycle and you have to run the spin cycle a few extra times before putting clothes in the dryer. Overall, we had a great week and would recommend and/or rent this unit again! "

"Perfect for a family, spacious and great location
I have been visiting HHI for over 30 yrs and now my family gets to enjoy this beautiful island. We have only stay in Shipyard and this was my first rime in this section (Tennis) the units layout was wonderful. Very spacious and bathrooms for everyone. Its a mix of updated and a little older but very functional. Two great patios, one over looking the golf course with beautiful calming views. Great for breakfast and coffee. The location is great. We love to go Coligny plaze often and it's an easy walk or bike ride and the beach is across the street from the only recommendations to the owner is make the other down stairs bedroom w/on suite a king bed. It could be used as a second master if you can't or don't like the stairs to the primary. My only negative is that the mattress are painfuly firm. Not my cup of tea. Invest in a better mattress. "

"Perfect Loacation
Great family vacation. Townhouse was spacious and super clean and comfortable. There were 6 of us total. Rode our bikes everywhere it was just minutes from the beach and Coligny Plaza. Would definitely recommend."

The location in Shipyard was quiet and restful, and bike paths made it easy to get around. While the location was convenient to Coligny Plaza, restaurants, and shops, we found the condition of the property in general to be lacking. It needs a complete deep cleaning, including replacing many light bulbs and electrical outlets (protuding from the wall), and plumbing and furniture repair. The condition of the cookware was deplorable when cooking was done in house. "

"Very nice Townhouse!
We had a wonderful time on HHI, staying at Townhouse Tennis 18. Very impressive family room with soaring ceiling. Beds were comfortable and bedrooms nicely decorated. The shower door in the downstairs bathroom came off the track a few times and it needs a stopper for the tub. The location is great for Caligney shops and beach but it is a long walk/bike ride to Shipyard's beach. Overall, we loved staying there and would definitley go back again. "

"Rest, Relax, Recharge
This townhouse was great for our family. There is lots of space for everyone to be together, yet, also have a little space to themselves if they need it. The neighborhood is quiet, with many friendly, permanent residents. The pool is very close, the walking paths abundant, and there are multiple lakes and lagoons to throw a fishing line. The kitchen had everything you need to cook meals in, including a grill on the back patio. Be prepared to drive and park when you head to the beach. You can drop off your family and gear off right at the beach entrance, but, then you will need to go and find parking in the reserved areas. We enjoyed a dolphin cruise, kayaking the salt marches, and beach and pool time. After fun filled days, we relaxed with board games and smores in the evening. Thankful for this cozy retreat!"

Thus is by far the best lication on the island. Central to everything with beach access. The unit is clean and full of amenities. Close to the pool and off the golf course and close to the gate. (Property Management) made everything easy from start to finish and is very attentive and cooperative. We would definitely use them again and look forward to our next stay."

"A Villa that Welcomes You to South Carolina!
Over the 15 years that my family has rented at Shipyard, the Townhouse Tennis community is our favorite. This rather secluded community is quiet, very near the Pope Avenue gate, and a short walk to Coligny Plaza and beach. There is ample parking with one assigned semi-enclosed parking space per unit. The villa is clean, has a very well-equipped kitchen with all appliances in excellent working condition. All rooms are spacious, nicely furnished, and super comfortable. Seniors will love that there are two bedrooms and two full bathrooms on the first floor. The upstairs bedroom suite has a balcony perfect for morning reflections and coffee. We found this villa to be a sanctuary after a long day at the beach, shopping at nearby outlets, biking, or sight-seeing. There is a pool within the community. At the end of our two week stay, we felt as if we were leaving home. We hit the jackpot with this vacation: the weather was perfect and we did not see any South Carolina bugs in the villa!
