Our 3rd year staying at the Shorewood and we couldn’t be more happier!! The weather was fantastic and our stay was excellent!! The accommodations as always were amazing and up to par!! We enjoyed every minute of our trip and as usual hated to leave!! Naturally we will be back again next year!!! "

"Great Location and Accommodations!
We are typically an OBX family but decided to switch things up a bit this year and head to HH for a beach vaca. Overall, we were very pleased with both the location of the condo as well as the overall layout and cleanliness. "

"Nice View
Pros: Place was well laid out and newer furniture. Awesome view. AC was great.
Cons: Problem with too much hot water and not enough cold water in showers. Could never get it regulated because it was hot or no water. House keeping was minimal at best. Place was dusty and the LVT floors ruined our socks and blacked our feet the first day. Every dish we took out was greasy. Cleaning crew needs to be reevaluated. For what you are required to pay in fees aver and above the high rental cost, it should have been in better shape. "

"Great Experience!
Place is adorable and spacious. Check-in was super easy. Access to beach is easy and pool and hot tub were wonderful. Overall beautifully maintained property and location was great! You just barely peek at the beach/ocean from the balcony, but we were only there in the evenings (out exploring all day), so we really weren't looking to pay for a beachfront property, so it was great! The balcony is reasonably private - I never felt like I was on display like you do in some condos. The master bathroom needs some minor repair from water damage outside the shower, but didn't affect our stay. Really nice that they provide some folding beach chairs, umbrellas and toys. Parking was easy. Overall, loved it and would definitely stay again! "

"Girls beach week
The unit was fine. It could use better pots and pans and silverware, no teaspoons. Folding luggage racks would be nice as there was no place for luggage except the floor and limited storage in the twin room."

"Wonderful and very relaxing
This rental is great. We loved all the windows. The master bedroom is great because it is away from the living room and makes it nice when one person sleeps later. This kitchen is just enough for someone on vacation. Very safe and the grounds are well taken care of. Location is perfect!!!"

"Great location! Great size unit!
We loved the location - walking distance to Coligny Plaza and lots of good restaurants! The ice machine was broken, a stool was broken and the elevator was broken upon our arrival (elevator fixed a couple days into our stay), but other than that it was great! A little sliver of beach view, but the size of the unit was great; even having 3 kids running around!"

"339 Shorewood Review
We would never stay at 339 Shorewood again. The layout of the unit is the only thing to recommend it. The cookware is poor quality and the lids don't match the pots. There aren't enough matching wine glasses. The parking lot lights shine in both bedrooms all night long. The bed linens are of really poor quality and the comforter in the main bedroom looked old and dirty. The stove needs to be replaced. The recent paint job left more paint on the towel bars than the walls. the bathrooms need vanities instead of just sinks. (Property Management) was very responsive to all of our maintenance problems (broken doorknob and toaster, rusty potato peeler, incomplete set of measuring spoons, parking lot light in bedroom) although the closet door in the second bedroom was still off its tracks when we checked out. It was just a really awful unit. The owner needs to spend some actual money to make it habitable. "

Unit is nice, condo has nice security in place. Beach access is great! Very walkable location.
Few negatives.
The bed in the master is awful! Definitely needs to be replaced...both the mattress and bed frame.
Nice LVT flooring...however there is no broom and the vacuum is for carpet, a stick vacuum for hard floors would be so much better. "

Wonderful experience. Unit was very roomy. Parking was abundant. Great location, close to shops and restaurants. Beautiful pool area and really nice hot tub. Added bonus - other people staying at Shorewood are very friendly and talkative! Would love to go back next year!"

Condo was clean, spacious and comfortable. Great location short 7 minute walk to shops and restaurants. Condo didn't provide beach towels. When you fly you can't fit them in suitcase. Had to buy beach towels and a carry on bag to take them home. "

"Hilton Head Property - May have been great years ago
Rental was quiet. Things worked. Property was dirty (dishes weren't clean, kitchen cabinets had sticky liquid dried on them, any surface that wasn't in complete open had dirt piled high including top of fridge, under beds, under furniture, even found hair in freezer). The door nob going into rental was recently changed for single, keyed entry. Holes from old, larger door lock were filled with putty and the deadbolt didn't work. Shower in master bath pooled water away from drain, cracks in wall near shower were black, toilet lid wouldn't stay up unless held simultaneous to use. Second bath was more functional, but had crack down tile wall in shower and floor of tub creaked like it was going to crack while in shower. Patio door shades wouldn't close and several "slats" had fallen off and were placed near the refrigerator in the kitchen. Couldn't close blinds as a result. Patches on walls and ceiling were half done (spackle applied, not sanded or painted). Dings on wall from what we presume are many guests who didn't take care of the property were high (scuff marks, dings, dirt).
We did not contact the management company for fixing this...we just cleaned what we felt we had to in order to complete our stay. WE didn't want to be displaced / inconvenienced so someone could "deep clean" the facility which should have been done before we arrived.
The condo was a great place at one time, but its clear the rental hasn't been cared for like a home...its not well maintained or clean.
If you want an ocean view, this is not the condo. It has a peak of the ocean, but at a good distance.
Finally, other amenities at the facility were nice. The pool was clean and warm. The pool furniture was sturdy and in good shape. The walk to the ocean was well maintained.
We have stayed at other condos on HHI for well over a decade. We will stay at those facilities in the future."

"Relaxing Vacation
We enjoyed our stay at Shorewood, the condo and facilities were great. We enjoyed having access to the pool and beach. The furniture was very comfortable compared to other places we have stayed. The only negatives are if you plan on cooking, the kitchen could be stocked a little better but we just cooked breakfast and it was sufficient. The condo was fairly clean but could use a good wipe down, light fixtures and baseboards were extremely dusty. I understand that during these times with COVID housekeeping is probably stretched thin due to lack of staffing. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and the property manager was always around with a smile on his face making sure everyone had a nice stay. "

"Everything was more than perfect
Everything advertised was exactly as it was stated. from Renee in the office to the phone receptionist everyone knew who I was by first name every time that I called. We had a late night check in and it was absolutely seamless. I highly recommend this company instead of doing it on your own."

"Perfect location
Conveniently located. Very short walk to the beach and pool.
Clean and comfortable. The elevator was wonderful for luggage, groceries and my elderly parents.
My only complaint would be the beds. Mattresses were a little uncomfortable but that could be a matter of opinion. "

"Amazing *covid* Vacation
We had a great visit July of 2020. We didn’t stay in our usual unit at Shorewood. The condo was listed as having a stocked kitchen. I would say it was far from stocked. Not a deal breaker, but I would need to bring a few things if I were to stay there again. The floors needed a good scrubbing. You could tell they had been vacuumed, but there was tons of sand on the floors. Other than that the unit was clean. The Shorewood complex was wonderful as usual! We love the pool and short walk to the beach. (Property Management)s was amazing with communication in regards to the covid situation and kept us up to date. It was a wonderful trip as usual!"

We had a 2 bedroom condo at Shorewood at N Forest beach.
It was clean and well supplied. We had an issue logging on to the internet. Within one hour (Property Management) sent a very nice young man who fixed the problem. Can’t get better service than that! Will use this company again."

"Wish the weather was as nice as the villa!
The number one reason for staying here was the location/proximity to the beach. This did not disappoint. It's a beautiful location with easy access to the beach as well a short bike ride to shops at Coligny Square and grocery stores. While I would recommend some paint to freshen up the walls and an upgrade of the twin mattresses in the guest room, overall the condo met expectations. It was spacious with a stocked kitchen that had everything we needed for meals in. "

"Great Place for Family with kids!
Had a great time staying at shorewood 339! Very clean, recently updated. Love the large space and windows for all the natural light. Easy access to pool and beach. Parking was never an issue. Also, never had to wait for elevator. Will defiantly stay here again! "

We enjoyed our stay at the Shorewood 339. Nice updated decor! Great local.However, bathrooms and floors were very dusty and dirty. Not cleaned well at all before we arrived; bathroom smelled like it was cleaned with a dirty mop. Master has bed very hard mattress. Need robe hooks."

"Nice place
This particular condo was nice, but needed a couple of things. The showers were not scrubbed. I used Clorox wipes to clean the floors of the showers. The pizza cutter was rusted and did not roll/work. Otherwise, it was very nice. "

"Shorewood 339 July 2018
We have vacationed for several years in Hilton Head and really like the area. This is our second year in Shorewood and everyone enjoyed the location and all the things to do.
339 Shorewood is a very spacious rental property with 2 bedrooms and 2 Baths. However the unit is starting to show its age. I know the properties are used all summer and maintenance can be difficult. Both Bathrooms have some water damage and the Master Bathroom water was scolding hot with poor water pressure(new shower head would fix the pressure). I checked the water tank but could not turn it down. The Kitchen and living areas were OK but not great. Our family would not rent this property again unless there were renovations made."

"Beautiful weather outside, not clean inside
Renting from (Property Management) was so easy! Merle was very helpful and attentive. However, the unit we stayed in was not cleaned very well. There was hair in the shower drains and bath tubs. The floors smelled like they were cleaned with dirty water. The kitchen countertops weren’t wiped down. I had to clean the unit before we could settle in. Extremely disappointed. "
