"Hilton Head Escape
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We loved the location of our unit. Our unit had recently updated floors and kitchen but there was not an oven (only a cook top and microwave) and there was not a grill on the grounds which would have been a perk. Only complaint was when Orkin came for preventative treatment but no one notified us. Nothing like walking in from the deck and finding someone you don't know there. They were very professional but we would have loved a heads up. Overall, we had a good time. "

"Breakers 332
Location, pool, parking and walk out to the beach were perfect. Actual condo is an epic fail.Shower door is about to fall off. Trim fell off of vanity.Horrible smell in vanity. You could never accommodate 4 people in this condo. Bedroom is ok but the rest needs gutted."

"Great location and cute condo
The rental is a described in the listing. Very nicely decorated with some additions to make the most of the small space. It was snug but just right for our mother/daughter get away. The location near Coligny was just right for first-timers learning more about the island. Bikes are a MUST on HHI so having them included with the rental is awesome. Definitely recommend."

"Beautiful Island Stay
We were at the resort in March 2024. The main reason for our stay was to visit family that lives on the Island. The villa was clean and well maintained. We loved the beach decorations. Really did not spend too much time at the resort, the weather was cool and rainy. Storage area in the kitchen for personal items was not very good."

"Great location but needs some deep cleaning and some maintenance
We loved the location and how easy it was to get to the beach. We were very disappointed in the condition of the condo. One of the cabinet doors was rigged on the cabinet and came off after opening the first time. The ice machine leaks, so we had to rig water to drip into a cup but ice still go into the container or else the water would leak into the ice container and freeze it all together, or in the bottom of the freezer. The shower caddy is really gross, replace or clean. Soap scum and mildew all over. The sliding door lock is broken at the handle, only the bottom lock works. Touch up paint and a new toilet seat might be nice? TV was great, elevator great, parking easy. Will stay at the breakers again, just not this condo. "

Perfect location with walkability to restaurants and shopping. We loved that the property came with bikes which we rode down the beach and all over the island, so fun! The view was top notch from the patio and the unit itself was very clean and comfortable. The property management firm was responsive and helpful. Don’t hesitate to book great place!! "

We had a good time. It would have been better if the elevators had already been completed. Walking up 3 flights of stairs for 65+ year olds can be challenging multiple times a day."

"Great place to stay
After reading some of the reviews on other condos at the Breakers we were very nervous about what we would find. When we got there we were pleasantly surprised. The condo was relatively clean. The bathroom sink could have been a little cleaner, but overall we were pleased with the cleanliness. The view was great. The unit has been updated nicely. The furniture was in good shape. The balcony chairs were very comfortable for relaxing in the evenings. The TVs were new. The bed was hard as a rock. That would be my main complaint. I didn’t get a decent nights sleep bc of the bed. It could really benefit from a better mattress. The mattress on the sleeper sofa was much more comfortable than the bed. A couple items needed repair but really didn’t bother us. The cabinet door in the kitchen where the dishes are was off the hinge and would fall off and the towel bar in the bathroom would fall off the wall easily. These things didn’t bother us much and we told the realty company they needed repair. We had a very nice stay overall. Once the elevators are completed it will be a much better option for vacation. There are 46 steps up to the third floor and that’s killer with luggage. The steps aren’t much fun either after a long day on the beach. Just something to keep in mind for people who can’t do steps well. The breakers is located right at the public beach access. While you are right across the street from Coligny Plaza, the beach is extremely crowded in this area. That is something we were not aware of coming for the first time. Overall we were pleased with the condo and our experience. We had a fantastic family vacation on HHI. "

"Just what we needed
A short walk to the beach for plenty of rest and relaxation while listening to the waves. Just what we wanted and needed. A couple of small items in the condo: the toilet lid was extremely sticky to open/close and a couple of the cabinet doors were loose. But very minor and I'm sure they would have corrected it if we contacted them. We would def rent here again."

"Beach trip
Great unit. Will be even better when elevator is finished. View is great. I would rather have had taller chairs on the balcony. Hard to see over the rail with the supplied chairs. Overall, it’s an 8 outta 10. "

"Breakers Great Location
We stayed for our anniversary the week of September 19. The Coligny Circle location is perfect. The room was nice especially the TV and the 4 beach chairs and 2 Free Bikes are awesome. The new elevator is 2 doors down and will only increase the value of this room when finished. We would absolutely stay here again. The only issue we had was with the cleanliness of the room and the lack of response from the rental company. These issues were NOT the fault of the owner. I have enclosed what I sent to the rental company 2 times and still have not gotten any response.
The reason I am sending this is because we had a couple issues that you need to know about.
#1 The balcony chairs are NOT what was pictured and what is there were ripped and torn. I took pictures if you need.
#2 The most upsetting thing was the cleaning of the room. You asked us to not show up early because you were taking extra precautions for COVID. My wife and I are Healthcare workers so we appreciate that. We waited till after 5 to go to our room and we found a few problems.
#1 the balcony had what looked like old ice cream on the table and Popcorn on the floor.
#2 the top of the refrigerator (which is at eye level for me) was so dirty it looks like it had not been touched in weeks.
#3 We had popcorn on the floor in our bedroom. It was only 1 piece but was in the Middle of floor!
After seeing this we did not trust the overall cleaning so we took the time to clean the balcony and re-washed pillow cases and all dishes just in case they were missed.
Let me be very clear,,,, We do NOT want anyone in trouble for this. We greatly appreciate the task you have with turnover on weekends BUT when you ask us for extra time for COVID we expect a little better,

"Great Location!
We booked this just weeks before our stay so options for a unit for 2 people were slim. It was a perfect location and we loved having the beach chairs, umbrellas and bikes!!! It is a very small space, made to seem smaller by the lack of places to put stuff. You aren't in the bedroom except to sleep so it wasn't a huge deal that there wasn't much room to move around, but the fact that we couldn't really stash our suitcases - because while there is drawer space and a little space to hang stuff, there just wasn't enough room. The same holds true for the bathroom. The counter space was a problem - and it just didn't seem clean. The kitchen was small, but we didn't plan to cook - just coffee, drinks, and snacks - so it wasn't as much as a problem as the bedroom and bath.
Did I say the location is perfect? The beach is amazing and you can walk to restaurants and shops or bike up the road.
We had a great week and would recommend it for a last minute thing."

"Breakers Hilton Head
Great location, right on Coligny Beach. Building is on the older side but some cosmetic updates have been done. Cleaning service could be greatly improved, especially when it’s part of the fees in the cost. Everything was dusty in living room/bedroom and the tile floors were not clean (our feet would get dirty just walking around unit). Overall, decent accommodations for price but some improvements could be made."

"Great Condo!
Property was clean, well maintained, as described, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. The location is perfect! Close to everything and walking distance to almost everything. The included bikes were great for biking around this beautiful island. This was our first trip to Hilton Head, and I would love to come back sometime! If I do, I will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this condo! "

"Would stay again!
My father and I stayed here so we could attend the Masters in Augusta, GA. It was perfect for what we needed on a short (4-5 day) trip. The condo is in an excellent location to all the restaurants and shops of Coligny- literally everything is right across the street. You have a nice balcony with a nice ocean view. The unit itself is small but we were expecting that. I slept on the couch (didn't need to roll it out and it was comfortable). Our favorite part was that 2 bikes were included. We biked on the beach or on the bike paths every day- so nice that we didn't have to rent them! The unit is up 4 flights of stairs and there isn't an elevator but that didn't bother us really. We were able to get ahold of the management company with a question on a Saturday. Would definitely recommend to others and would stay here again!"

This condo was fine. Everything was as advertised. Be aware that if you use the sofa bed, the mattress is pretty thin- which is typical, but just know it will be that way. One has to be aware that there is no standard over, but the microwave is a convection oven as well, so you can use it as an oven. Location was the best. "

"Cozy Stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this vacation rental! My husband and I visited the island in the middle of May with our baby and the rental worked out great for us. It was quiet, comfortable and cozy. It had all of the amenities we needed & everything worked! The view of the beach and pool was great and comfortable chairs on the patio were provided, as well as chairs to take to the beach. The property was clean and well maintained. We would certainly stay here again! "

We enjoyed our stay at 332 Breakers. Loved the location and the amenities. Whether you wanted to spend time at the pool or enjoy the beach, both were just steps away. Being directly across from Coligny Plaza was also a plus. One area of improvement - the internet connection. It was spotty at best; virtually non-existent at worst."

"A NICE SURPRISE
We were there for our 41st wedding anniversary. I found comfort in the fact that it was a very clean unit even in the lower price scale. We didn't cook on this trip, but did notice there was a very nice supply of cookware. The view was beautiful and even though I was concerned the bed would be too hard, it was actually a comfortable firm mattress. The only negative I thing I noticed was the shower doors would not stay on. We had to re-hang them several times because they would come off track easily. We were surprised about how convenient everything was. we could easily walk to shops and restaurants. Anytime I called Travis, he was there with the answers I needed, and I think the owners did a beautiful job with the updates. Thank you for a nice trip!!"
