18.) CANCELLATION POLICY- For a refund of moneys, cancellation must be in writing and received 91 days prior to your arrival date. The cancellation fee will be 10% of the rental rate. Cancellations within 46-90 days will result in the loss of the 40% deposit unless we are able to re-rent the Dwelling for the same rate and time period. No refunds will be made for cancellations received 45 days or less prior to arrival unless the Dwelling is re-rented for the same rate and time period. If the Dwelling is re-rented, then a 10% cancellation fee will apply. For this reason, we highly recommend that you consider purchasing the optional travel insurance.

"Great location but cost conscious
Amazing location, very clean and fully functional (although it is old and you hear everything going on in other rooms at night). However, after paying ~$830 per night I was expecting a perfect experience. My dissatisfaction was driven by the "penny pinching" approach of the property manager (e.g., cheapest possible toiler paper - bidimensional, only half a box of tissues, no extra trash bags, no towels in one of the bathrooms). Anyway, house location is as good as it gets"

"Beware of Staying Here
Entered unit with two to three foot water stains on patio curtains. Terrible musty smell which never went away. During rain storm water was pouring in patio door. Obviously rug had been soaked before. Very outdated unit. When presented list of problems to agent we were laughed at. Left two weeks early as conditions were causing breathing problems. Would never recommend this to a friend or relative. "

The property was in the perfect location and everything looked very true to the pictures shown online. We would definitely rent here again. The one and only issue was the A/C in the 2nd floor master bedroom was very poor (all other rooms worked perfectly). A fan was dropped off to on the first night to help cool the room. "

"Perfect family vacation
My husband and I along with our daughter, son in law, and grandchildren had a wonderful stay at Schooner court. The location was absolutely perfect. We were right in the middle of all the harbour town action and could walk to restaurants, shops, and entertainment however the home was quiet and peaceful. The view from the back windows and patio was incredible and so relaxing. The adults loved sitting out there and enjoying a glass of wine and the children had a ball running on the beautiful grassy area and climbing the big old oak tree. The pool was great as was the beach club however we preferred to drive the short distance to Coligny beach. The house was perfect. Plenty of room and privacy and beautifully decorated. The kitchen wtas well stocked and we had plenty of linens. The washer and drier were great! A few minor issues which I reported to management company and they offered to immediately take care of but there was no need. I just wanted to make them aware. It was a perfect vacation. Thank you for sharing your home with us. "

"Schooner Court 704 - Rental
Mixed Review - Perfect Location! Fair value. Would suggest future potential renters ask agent if following has been fixed.
Unit was NOT well cleaned and agent apparently does not have quality control over cleaners and does not inspect to make sure all is as it should be.
Iron was missing. Agent said go buy one, which is exactly how we wanted to spend our time. Garbage area smelled of rotted fish, no-one checked. Garbage was not picked up until we left, but agent said "at least twice a week. During heavy rain, back slider door leaked. Towels were threadbare.

Sounds like we are complainers, but not so. We had a great family vacation with an excellent location for the kids. With more attention to the "little" things, this place would be perfect."

"Review of 704 Schooner Court
Our rental experience was very nice. The people at (Property Management)s Get-Aways are helpful. However,the unit is VERY dilapidated and needs to be updated. The only reason this unit gets rented has to be because of its beautiful location. The furniture is very old, the carpets appear as though they have years of dirt on them, the kitchen lacks the basics, there is not even a large skillet. There are no ceiling fans at all. At the very least they should be in the bedrooms. The outdoor furniture is bad, old, and dirty. This is a 4 bedroom unit, accommodating 8 guests and yet there are only 4 chairs around the outdoor table. We had family staying in neighboring units, 703, 705, 707 and 729. All of these units were updated, had newer furnishings and were all around much nicer than #704. The owner of this unit is basically a slum lord, just collecting rents because the location of this condo is second to none."

My family had a wonderful time in this premier location. The view of the sound offers peace, serenity and glorious sunsets. "Great location!
Beautiful Hilton Head; where the weather is perfect, the birds sing every morning, sky's are usually blue, air fresh, bike/walking trails are plenty, a wide variety of grocery/small shops/malls/restaurants.
(Property Management) is the BEST! Very accommodating, hard working, responsive, and friendly. The location of the Villa is very nice, directly across from the shops in Harbor Town and the back yard opens to the sound. Great views of boats, dolphins, birds, ships, wind sails, etc. "

"704 Schooner Court last week of July
Size and layout of the unit is great. Furnishing are dated and too large for the space. The unit had a musty smell that would not go away. I'm certain that the old cushions, carpets and stair runners contributed to this problem. Air freshener and dehumidifier tubs did not help. This problem would have to be rectified before we would consider renting the unit again.

We had great fun and loved having the green space access right out the back door for our little ones.

In checking that I would recommend the unit to a friend, it is a Yes-but (the musty smell must be fixed.

cleanliness upon arrival. We had to call to have
the floors done. The couple that came was very nice. The place was well done (somewhat outdated
The owner did provide service however, the repairman did not come as he told you. We were
there the whole morning and he did not come nor
did he fix the washing machine. We want you to know this info so that you won't be charged for
work not done.
We were very surprised and thankful for the financial remunaration for the time and money spent
at the laundrymat. "
