This single level Sea Pines home on a quiet street is U-shaped with sliders opening to the fenced deck and pool from the Master Bedroom, Living Room, Kitchen and den. The spacious Brazilian Walnut deck area features an outdoor shower (with hot & cold water), pool (with underwater lighting for nighttime swimming), numerous chairs, chaise lounge, and a glass-topped umbrella table for outside dining.
Our smoke-free, pet-free home has bright, large rooms and is perfect for families and/or large groups as it has two large living areas- a living room and a separate family room. It also has a Master Bedroom Suite, 2 other large bedrooms, and a smaller 4th bedroom/nanny suite with its own full bathroom.
The house has 2 indoor eating areas- a dining room with a glass table top for 6 and an eat-in kitchen with both a table for 6 and bar stool seating for 3 at the granite counter tops. It is a short bike ride to the Sea Pines beach club.
Sea Pines is a world-class vacation resort with pristine beaches, miles of paved biking trails, Lawton Stables with a live petting zoo, public golf courses, Racquet Clubs, dining, shopping, and full operational marinas in Harbour Town and South Beach Marina Village with water sports, fishing charters and live entertainment.

Enjoy walking or biking miles of leisure trails to the Sea Pines oceanfront Beach Club on the Atlantic Ocean, or Harbour Town and its famous lighthouse overlooking the Calibogue Sound, or the Salty Dog Cafe at the South Beach Marina.

"Hurricane Debby didn’t rain “too hard” cour vacation
Our family enjoyed our stay despite the torrential downpour at times. Were appreciative we had space to move about in the house. There are some improvements and updates needed to the house, dusty air vents, old/damaged utensils, soft spots in flooring just to name a few. Overall, good stay. It should be noted or better promoted the home came with 4 bikes for guests use. We used our beach gear credit for bike rentals Doh! "

"Okayest rental experience ever
This place is incredibly outdated and neglected in so many ways. It’s clear the owner is only interested in collecting money and investing as little as possible to improve the property. The deck is in bad shape and had screws sticking out in numerous places which isn’t the greatest feeling on bare feet. Tons of mold on windows and deck. No real grill or bbq available to be able to cook a bbq for 6-8 people. The bathrooms are straight out of the 70s. The kitchen is decent but it feels like everything in the drawers and cupboards were collected at a series of garage sales I’d rather stay in a hotel than spend this kind of money for absolute mediocrity. "

"The house is need of repairs
From the last time 2 years ago the house now needs repairs esp the pool my daughter hurt her foot badly on the bottom of the pool bc it’s falling apart. The pool and deck need immediate attention to repairs as well as the floor by the washer and dryer someone will end up falling through the floor bc it’s so worn and dangerous . We had a great time. Hoping the owners will do the necessary work on this house before it gets worse "

"Update NOW
The house is very outdated and mildew is every where. The garage is nasty and stinks. The master bath shower is full of black mold and the floor is as well. There is dip in the floor in the hall. we were afraid that it was going to fall through. The pool had loose boards and nails not hammered in. The screen door fell off the first day.

"Great Stay
The process to rent this property was easy and smooth. The home was clean, in a great location and extremely comfortable. We chose this property due to the safe and functional lay out for our family, including our older parents. We had a great time. It was our second time staying at this property and again, were not disappointed. Also, the king size mattresses are the best we've ever slept on in all our traveling. Thanks again for a great trip to the beach"

Nice, had my wife and I, along with son, his wife and 3 small children.
House is large, great place to feel at home. Pool is nice, we didn’t use, too cold.

Could use some updating of things in kitchen, like coffee cups, glasses, etc.

Nice neighborhood, not very close to anything, but convenient to all in Sea Pines."

"Our family vacation
Our time in HHI was great. Everything we saw through the website was there. The pool was the right size for the kids. We were an easy 10 minute bike ride from the beach which it turns out was not overly crowded. The distance was also close enough to take a nice evening walk if we chose. We only ate out a couple of times, benefits of a full kitchen. The Coast restaurant at the beach club was very good and provided an outstanding view of the ocean. "

We enjoyed our time at the property and felt the description adequately described the home. The location is very convenient and central to everything we enjoyed such as golf, walking, biking, Harbor Town, beaches and restaurants. The home was clean and well maintained and the pool was also cleaned during our stay which was a plus.

The property management company was very helpful and extremely customer service oriented.

We would definitely recommend the property and would consider a return stay.

"Fun time

"GOLF ADVENTURE TO HILTON HEAD
This was the second year we stayed in this nice house...great for us four golfers...everything works well....I did bring my own Keurig coffee maker since the one in the kitchen is too small for our usage....only things I would add to the home are larger coffee mugs and some plastic wine glasses for outdoor/pool use and safety"

"Hilton Head Vacation, Summer 2018
Aside from the fact that it rained the majority of the time we were here, the house was wonderful other than a few minor issues. Very comfortable, clean and plenty of room for a party of 7. We enjoyed the pool as much as we could between rain and clouds. There is a lot of tree coverage that keeps the pool from getting much sun when the sun is out, and for sunlovers such as myself.....I would have like more. I would highly recommend this location and home to future vacationers and would consider this home again for our future vacations."

"Decent property, awful management company
This house has a lot of potential but the furnishings are outdated and there wasn't anything above and beyond the basics. Hairdryers would be a good thing to add. We had two issues while we were there: 1. the hot water ran out everytime we used it (even if only two people showered) 2. The dryer wasn't working. The management company addressed both of these issues and ended up replacing the dryer. Peter at Seashore vacations was helpful but the other employees of (Property Management) were not friendly or helpful at all. We called to ask how to get to the beach and the lady at Seashore vacations actually told us to go outside Sea Pines to the beach at Coligny, as that would be easier - crazy! We ended up finding a pedestrian walkway to the beach which was 1/2 mile from the house in Sea Pines. If I owned a property in HHI then I definitely would choose a differnt management company. While they replaced the dryer due to it's age, they didn't send a maintenance guy out first to check out the issue. Due to this, the new dryer didn't work either because the issue was that the outside vent was severely clogged, which we fixed ourselves. "

8 Old Military is in a perfect location for us, centrally located in Sea Pines between Harbor Town and South beach marina, and not far from the beach. Lots of space for a family of 6. Loved the pool. This was our second time to stay here and would definitely come back."

"Hilton Head Vacation
Home was a little dated, which we knew, but was clean, large and comfortable. The pool was wonderful. Would definitely return. The rental agency, (Property Management), was fantastic. We left some prescription medications in the house when we left, called Seashore and they went out that day, gathered up the stuff we forgot and overnighted it to us. Also, they were very prompt to repair a leaking toilet."
