"Unit 47 Ocean Club
We love Ocean Club.. fantastic location. This unit was definitely not worth the money we paid. Not cleaned properly and just generally outdated and kitchen sparsely stocked... not enough to actually prepare meals in condo. I did have to clean the bathrooms myself. (Property Management) did step up and make things right though and provided clean linens, towels and new patio chairs. I have stayed in many units at Ocean Club, but do not recommend unit 47."

"Great location, meh unit
Location and pool access are great. Tubs don't drain and hand sprayers are a must add for kids! The decor is very dated, as a rental it's very low effort and everything seems to have come from Goodwill. Microwave and toaster are on the same circuit! Bug sprayer guy barged in but was nice when we said we didn't want spraying with two young kids there. "

"Nice condo
It was a nice spot. Decor and furniture are outdated but i prefer to be ocean front so i got it. Needed some minor improvements with the tub draining and cleanliness. Overall, I feel like this place could use a good update. "

"Ocean club 47
Overall we were very disappointed in our was not appointed very well and needed electrical work in the guest bathroom .The sink in the master bath was stopped up as well as the shower in the guest bathroom.There were huge holes in the ceiling .They scheduled chain saw operations right in front of our condo (nice to sleep in at 8.00AM )We also had a nest of ants on our front patio (crawling up our legs Yuck!)"

"BEWARE: NEVER RENT THIS UNIT!
(Property Management) was superb. However the owner of the condo was disrespectful and rude. He barged right into the condo without even knocking accusing us of overstaying. He was aggressive in his tone and manner. He was in the wrong (had his dates wrong) and he offered no direct apology. It was a scary experience for my two friends and I (all female seniors) We nearly called the police because we had no clue who this guy was, and if he was in fact the real owner of the unit. Because of this I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND YOU RENT THIS UNIT."

"Great Place (with some repairs required)
we love Ocean Club and have stayed in various condos over the last eight years. the location and beach access is the best!
HOWEVER, the sofa bed was broken. It is also TOO SHORT for the average person to sleep in. The washing machine had trouble starting, and continue to run. the dinning space lights would sometimes flicker when it was running.
SeaShore Vacations has been great to work with and far superior to going through . "

"Almost Heaven
Coming to HHI regularly for almost 40 years and all but once to Ocean Club Villas. The place was great, except the instructions for the cable TV were totally inaccurate and was a daily fester. Everything else was great. We loved the view and the pool was great. The upgrades to OCV over the past few years makes this the place to be at HHI.The location is great, though the increased traffic around Colligny is becoming a bit problematic. Our children and now grand-children love this place. Going to harbor Town and seeing Gregg Russel is always the high point to any visit to HHI. We know all his songs and stories, but it is a wonderful experience to see the children and his generations of followers smile and share in the HHI experience.
We will be back."

Wonderful stay. Love everything Ocean Club.
#47 is not completely updated, but it was immaculate. I don’t worry about lack of granite or that kind of thing. Cleanliness is the main thing and it was really nice and clean.

"Needs a major overhaul
1. Bathroom: very dirty, rust behind the toilets, shower curtain dingy & dirty, the floor was grimy and the counters needed updating.
2. Living room: couch is dirty, discolored, and sunken in - we couldn’t even sit on it. The curtains wouldn’t close properly,
3. The kitchen pots and pans are old, worn out, and need replacing. The food prep knives are so full that they are unusable.
4. The bedroom sheets had pilling (little balls) all over them. They were thin and worn out.
5. All of the floors were dirty, sandy and needed cleaning. The whole house is in need of a paint job. "

The location is great. The property needs to be updated. As an example, the dishwasher needed to be run twice to clean the dishes. Showers are not handicap accessible. The bathrooms could use a good scrubbing."

"Great location, helpful management company..unit needs updating
The location is perfect...right on the beach, great pool area, walking to shops and restaurants! The unit needs updating. The couches were old, sleeper sofa was not comfortable, the bed covers and and extra throw blankets have not been cleaned in a long time, the ceiling light fixtures had mold. The place needs upgrading...we have stayed in Ocean Club in previous years in other upgraded units. This one needs upgrading. The management company is very helpful and attentive."

"Nice stay, awesome location, property is in need of spruce up
The location is fantastic and the overall stay was good. The bed comforters had an unclean smell. The bathrooms also had a smell, like coming from old piping. The patio furniture was very minimal. We had towels provided, they were clean, of course, but the white color was a dirty one, a little bit of bleach would do wonders. Some of the kitchen utensils were not clean. The kitchen had everything needed for one who'd like to cook."

We have vacationed at Ocean Club many times. It is a great location and the complex is small enough to not be overwhelmed by the amount of people that vacation in Hilton Head. This unit has a great view. We loved it."

"Ocean Club 47
Ocean Club 47 is a great rental. Excellent proximity to the beach. Parking spot is located conveniently in front of the entrance. The only 2 things that needs some attention to are:
Guest Bath needs to have the bathtub drain cleaned out - I think it has a sand plug that has formed in it. I can only image this is a problem experienced at all of the beachfront properties at this location.
Master Bath shower pipe, appears to not be secured in the wall. When running the shower with the water full on, the pipe will vibrate in the wall excessively - this could also be caused by air mixing in at the valve. "

Hey Buddy, thanks for your help with this rental. The unit is fine but there are a couple of maintentance items: ...the HVAC is not working. Also, there is a loud vibration when the water faucets are running that reverberates throughout the whole building. "

"Getaway
The unit had a musty odor and was overall not cleaned. Tiles needed to be regrouted and vents were also not cleaned. When the main shower was turned on for a minute or so you would hear a loud noise coming from the hot water heater. I would not recommend this unit. "

"a week in affordable paradise
This was the third year renting in same building with (Property Management). We find the company a jiy ti rent from and feel the cost is fair. We have never had a concern. It's easy to pick up/ drop off keysnkeys. So close to the water but grass area right in front if units. Access to Coligny is easy but far enough way to not feel like you are staying in a hotel. Perfect! We will keep renting same spot!"

"Great Price Point & Location for HHI
Unit was nice. Has had some renovation done needs a bit more. Front door handle loose, master bath drain needs to be cleaned out not just a jug of drain cleaner under the sink. A cookie sheet for the kitchen would be nice. Overall would definitely stay in the unit again. Staff at Seashore were great and quite accommodating. Hope to return again!"
