"Great location
Great location. Walked to Coligny Plaza and the beach. Plenty of room for our family. Great pool. Updated kitchen and bathrooms! The queen mattresses (3 of them) need replacing. The dryer took 3 rounds to dry. The cleaning company needs to pull out the dressers and clean behind. There were socks and undies behind one and someone’s pants and shirt left in our closet. The frying pans need replacing and they don’t sit flat. All easy fixes. We enjoyed our stay! The park was a hit for the kids! Thanks for a good vacation."

"Better than expected!
Location was very convenient to all the amenities and easy access to the main road via car, bikes or walking. Playground and open concert park, Coligny Beach and great restaurants were short car ride or within walking distance. Rooms were spacious and the AC worked great! The kitchen was functional with ample counter space. Only querk was only one parking space per unit, we had 2 vehicles, but you have to look for parking spaces that aren't marked. Still easy to park. We did not get to use the pool but it is close to the unit. The resort management company was great to work with and very responsive."

The unit is very typical of a vacation unit. Nothing grand except the redone kitchen (but not enough cooking gear for 9 ppl). The unit was cleaned thoroughly, under the couch was an array of dust and dirt. Came back home with a dry nose. Might have been due to all the dust. "

"Great Location and Property Set Up
This villa is in a great location for access to shopping, restaurants, bike paths and the beach.
Other than the kitchen and bathrooms which are all renovated, the property is needing a refresh. The furniture upholstery is frayed and ripped, the dining chairs are chipped and some are broken, the comforters and pillows are stained. Fortunately, we brought our own pillows.
I would stay here again, if the bedding and furniture are refreshed."

"Great Location & Affordable
For the value you can't go wrong. Beautiful bathrooms and kitchen. Excellent access to Coligny Park, the playground and the beach (via the main entrance or between Seaside Villas). Everything you need for a long stay can be purchased in Coligny Park which is convenient. Great location for a family. Especially nice to go out to dinner and not need to worry about driving home. You can hear footsteps from the second floor, but it wasn't a big deal for us. Second year in a row using (Property Management) and am very pleased with our experience. Looking forward to year 3! The only thing I could see to improve the unit is an updated and nicer set of outdoor patio furniture. We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 night stay. We would stay there again and recommend it. "

This condo was an excellent rental for our HHI vacation! The location was just a short bike ride to the beach and bike trails. The recently remodeled kitchen was a very nice surprise! Overall, our family made wonderful memories and we'd definitely consider another rental at Springwood 97 :) "

We were very pleased with the Condo. The only issue we had was the fire alarm. When we took a shower in the bedroom as you come in the front door the steam would set the fire alarm off. I called and reported it and they said they would check it out. Other than that it was great."

"Very spacious...
Very roomy and spacious. Bathroom remodels are wonderful - Master shower is like a massage. Plenty of linens and towels provided, as well as "starters" of soap, tp, etc. Middles of rooms had been cleaned, but the rest needed attention (under/behind furniture, blinds, cabinets, etc.). Kitchen needs some attention - lazy susan doesn't turn, toaster did not work, only the bare necessities to make meals, cabinets dirty. Master bedroom could use a new mattress (very soft and slopes to the sides). We contacted rental agency a day or two into our stay with regard to above issues (except toaster as we realized that at the end), but had no response. If the rest of the condo gets updated like the bathrooms, it would be a gem."

The condo is very dated, but overall was clean. The showers do not drain well and the queen bed mattresses sink. It would be nice to have more comfortable chairs on the patio. We would stay in this area again, but not on the ground condo because you hear everything from above. "

"Well located; could be cleaner
The staff of (Property Management) was very professional as we booked and as we arrived. The property was as described. The location was very good with easy access to the beach and to shopping. Good starting point for walks. The beds were comfortable. All appliances worked. A problem with shower drainage was quickly addressed. Kitchen is not well equipped. Many of the venetian blinds did not have wands so could not be opened and closed. The windows over the beds in the front bedroom were filthy. The windows in the kitchen were very dirty as were the venetian blinds. The undershelves on the tables in the living room were very dusty. Behind the living room TV was extremely dusty. The glass-topped dining room table could have been cleaner."

"Not quite there.
The layout of the rental was great and was generally clean, but there were some issues. As soon as we got in bed the bottom sheets came off because the bed was half made. The pillow cases were regular cases on large pillows which gave you two inches of pillow with no case at all. The sliding door was very dirty. There was muddy foot prints in the bathroom. Overall this could be a great place but it is a rental that needs to be taken care of."

"Roomy condo
Pros
We arrived around 8pm, upon arrival we walked into the condo and it looked very small. Once our party of 10 walked inside we were in aawww.
The place was roomy. The king bedroom was spacious. The 2nd bedroom to our surprise was upgraded with a bigger bed online it stated 2 twin beds we were happy about that and our room was on the opposite side of the house with 2 queen beds and our own bathroom. The kids thought they were sleeping with one of the adults but the coach let out to a queen size been and 2 teenager and a toddler slept in that bed no problem. The kitchen was decent size and the dinning room table was big enough for 8.
Cons
It’s near the water and it reminds you of an outside resort it was a wet feeling the entire time we were there and it was a few roaches upon our arrival out in the opening in the shower but by day 2 we didn’t see any more. Also when we let out the couch it was mice droppings inside the couch.

"Great Location & Community
My family has stayed at the Springwood Condo Community previously but in a different unit. That unit, also a , was owned by folks that actually stay at their place throughout the year. I am pretty sure the owners of Unit 97 rarely stay in their’s based on a number of observations.
The Kitchen is poorly equipped if you intend to cook meals. The few pots, pans & utensils are old and limited. There was no stopper to use at the sink so you could not hand wash anything. The refrigerator is ancient. You can’t use the racks on door as the rack holder is broken. Things tend to freeze as well. We threw away eggs and strawberries that froze over. Fine for beverages. Ice maker works well. 1 dishrag, 1 dish towel & 1 potholder. Glad I brought some additional equipment as we cooked in often. They did have a Keurig coffeemaker! And the Kitchen is HUGE!!!
The unit needs a good cleaning especially with the heavy use during the summer. Old French Fries and Peanuts found under the Living Room Chairs. Floors felt dirty so we all kept our shoes on. Couch and Chairs are older and have no support if you have any back issues. Good size Dining Room table was a plus for eating and game playing.
All 3 bathrooms are updated and we appreciated that. Strong water pressure so be careful with little ones in the showers. Towels are basic white and scratchy. Ample starting supplies.
The King Size bed in back bedroom was comfortable but the beds in the other two bedrooms were met with negative reviews. The Sleeper in middle bedroom ended up sleeping on the twin bed for comfort. Love the layout of this unit and it gives everyone some privacy. It’s also nice that it is all on one floor, the 1st Floor.
This could be a lovely unit but I would opt for others especially given that they seem to rent for similar prices. It’s a great location and next time I will book earlier to get a better value for my money.

Overall we had a very enjoyable stay. Some issues we had related to the condo were some pre-existing damage to the sliding glass patio door that ultimately on the second day the handle completely came off the door. There was a very minimal amount of kitchen utensils but we were able to make do. We enjoyed the pool area very much and even though the walk to the beach is a full eight or nine Minutes as compared to the four to five that most people had claimed it was doable and we actually saw an alligator in one of the lagoons on the way"

"Great Condo
We had a great time at Springwood 97. The condo was very spacious for 6 adults and laid out well. It was very clean with 3 updated bathrooms, nice washer and dryer, and comfortable living room furniture for watching TV on the big wall-mounted flat screen. The bedrooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable as well. There's a nice lagoon behind the condo that gives it a very natural setting as the entire island is with lots of palms and trees to enjoy while we relaxed on the back deck. The community pool and hot tub area are close to the condo and were nice and not over-crowded, and also had 2 nice gas grills to BBQ your food on and eat at picnicn tables there, or and take back to the condo to eat there. The location is great with a very short drive or a 5 min walk to the beach, grocery stores, restaurants, and of course awesome golf courses nearby. The property management company was very helpful in getting us set up with directions and the condo keys. The rate is also very good for the benefits of having a 3BR/3BA with lots of room. Overall we were all very happy with this condo and would highly recommend it. "

"Girls Trip...
First let me say we had a wonderful time...the location was ideal for our trip. We felt that the condo could have been a little cleaner and beds had fallen and the bed slats were on the floor when we arrived and not having hot water until day 2 was scary. But we had a great time anyway and loved being close to a beautiful beach."

"Hilton Head Fall Getaway
We had a great family vacation in 97 Springwood. We found the condo to be very spacious and well laid out. The renovated bathrooms were fabulous! We certainly feel the owners will replace carpets, tile, etc. given time. Everything that we needed was provided! The kitchen was amply supplied. The televisions were great for watching football! We felt that the weekly costs were very good for the benefits of having 3BR/3BA.
The only minor requests that we would offer would be to include a couple of beach bikes and purchase some ottomans to make the nice den chairs more comfortable. Overall, we were quite satisfied!"

Overall the condo was just what we were looking for. There were a few conditions with the kitchen area that should be addressed but not enough to dampen our stay. The floors and carpets could have been cleaned better and finding the empty liquor bottles under the master bedroom mattress was a total surprize. "

"Hilton Head Family Vacation
Springwood 97 has had some great updates including 3 new baths. The kitchen is in need of an update. Also no overhead light in one bedroom and slow running drain in the hall bath. The unit location is nice. Biggest complaint is the noise from the unit above. This includes a high pitched noise in the pipes when the shower in the unit above is turned on. Unfortunately this happens at 1:30 am. I called the management company immediately on Saturday when we first encountered the noise, it is very very loud. They said they would get back to me on Monday, but they never did. This was disappointing. This negatively impacted our stay and woke a sleeping baby several times. I would not recommend this unit unless this issue is addressed."

"Very disappointing
The furniture is very old and out of date and very stained. The refrigerator has rust stains on the side that are visible to people and is old. The kitchen is old and not in the best of shape. The bedding and mattresses are old and out of date. The carpet is disgusting! Its to far from the beach. The only good thing about this place were the updated bathrooms. I will never stay here again...unless it’s updated!"

"Fun Vacation but there were a few disappointments with this condo
The kitchen was very outdated & dirty. The refrigerator was rusty on the outside & the Kitchen drawers & dishes were dirty. Blinds & light fixtures were dusty & dirty. Parking spaces are extremely too small. There is a risk of damage to your car while parking at this complex. You also receive only 1 key to the pool, and you have to have the key to exit the pool area. We were stuck inside the pool while it was thundering because one person in our group left with the key to return to the room. I understand why the key is used to get into the pool area, but I think it is very dangerous to have to use a key to exit the pool area."

"Multiple family vacation
2 family's vacation together and we had a blast. The condo was just as pictured and nicer than what we thought. The pool was clean and wonderful to cool off and kick back and read a book. Location was perfect. Walking distance to restaurants and local Shops and stores. Rented bikes and got a discount because we rented from seashore vacation rental homes. Was a wonderful experience and would definitely rent again. We are planning another vacation next year with seashore. "

"Hmm. Why would the rent a known defective unit
Unit was clean. There was a missing bathroom door knob, which was replaced.
However, the popcorn ceiling was falling down in one of the bedrooms onto a window. This window, and roof, leaked for the rest of the 4 days onto the bed. They were well aware of the the problem but the were having to discuss it with "the regime" ; homeowners association. It was a known problem and should have been fixed before renting. It is still on the rental market. Don't rent it until its fixed."

"Always Love Coming to HHI
As usual the stay was great! We've stayed at Springwood 97 twice before in the last eight years that my friends & I have been vacationing in HHI. The condo is in a great location & most of the condo amenities are fine. The only thing I'd suggest updating is some of the kitchen amenities, like the cookware & things of that nature. Maybe bath mats in the showers because the floors are extremely slippery. Other than that, it was a great experience as always. I definitely recommend going to the Carolina Tasting Room! They have wine slushies that are fantastic. "

"Spacious Accomodations needs refreshed.
The unit was very spacious for eight people and clean. However upon arrival the information packet informed us that roaches might be seen despite maintenance spraying. This disclaimer was correct. Less than ten roaches were erradicated during our week's stay. The furniture and mattresses were of nice quality but the interior walls,doors and curtains definitately needed refreshed. The location was convenient to local activities and shopping. A repair request we made was taken care of that day. A request for access to the fitness facility nearby was granted and really boosted our children's and guests' morale."
