This spacious home embodies beach cottage vibes with its open layout and tastefully decorated interior! Soaring ceilings and lots of windows provide the great room with plenty of natural sunlight. In the living room, you will find plenty of plush seating around the brick fireplace (not for guest use), a flat-screen TV, and an array of board games that await you in the cabinet. perfect for a movie marathon or family game night! The kitchen is fully stocked and updated with stainless steel appliances, marble countertops, and three additional dining seats at the bar. The formal dining table can seat up to four people.

The first 2 bedrooms can be found on the main level, down the hallway from the living room. The master bedroom features a beautifully woven king-sized bed, a flat-screen TV, and direct access to the master bathroom. The master bathroom has a double vanity, walk-in shower, and huge whirlpool tub to give you the ultimate spa experience! The second bedroom sits adjacent to this room and features a queen-sized bed. This bedroom shares access to the master bathroom via the hallway.

A few steps down the whimsical spiral staircase will lead you to the lower level of the home. Relax in the second living room and watch a few of your favorites on the flatscreen TV, or warm up with an invigorating game of ping-pong! The remaining 2 bedrooms can be found down here as well; the third bedroom offers 2 twin-sized beds along with a flat-screen TV and shares access to the jack-and-jill bathroom with the fourth bedroom. The fourth bedroom features 2 bunk beds to offer 4 twin-sized beds in total. The lower level of the home is perfect for children or teens and also leads you directly to the private pool!

"Beach house
House location was great . Short walk on path to the beach. Porch is a great area to sit outside and enjoy your morning coffee. Living room and kitchen was a nice open area. The pool was very nice with a convenient fenced in area. Overall was not the cleanest. Crumbs on counter and on stool when we checked in. Mantel above fireplace had black debris everywhere. Outside furniture was so dirty I wouldn't sit on it. One alarming thing was on second day there we noticed a door that was unlocked that we had not used yet."

"Third Year at Sand Dollar
We love the location of this house and the pool. However, we feel like the house is not properly maintained. There was a crack in the shower pan, so we had to wear flip flops to shower to make sure we did not cut our feet. We also saw a great deal of ants and a couple of roaches which was not fun. We had to request the pool to be cleaned (and management was very responsive and it was cleaned the next day). I know this is not an issue of the house but the mosquitos around the pool in the evenings are rough. I am not sure if we will come back for a fourth year, yet."

"2 week stay
Overall, I give this a 4 star rating. It is not a 5 because the first floor shower was nasty and in need of immediate replacement. The floor is the shower was peeling back around the drain so the layers of the shower itself was exposed. The floor was spongy when stepped on. Why this had not been replaced is beyond my comprehension. On the upside there were plenty of dishes, silverware, cups, mugs and glasses to use that were in like new condition. The furniture was clean and lighting accents very nice. Floors on second floor were wood with the kitchen & the bathroom tiled. The double sinks are separate from the big tub, small shower & commode being in another room. One important tip is to unpack your items for the first floor & use the doors on the 1st floor. The 2 minute walk to the beach with the photo of the wooden walkway is a misnomer. The beach access from the house is actually an overgrown jungle path with warnings of “poisonous snakes and uneven ground”. There is a locked pathway to the beach at the corner of Sand Dollar & Ghost Crab. However, the code that was given to us by Island Time (IT)was incorrect & they did not know the correct one. Lucky for us a resident of the area let us through the gate. Unfortunately, he did not give us the code so when it came time to leave the beach we were stranded because (IT)never called me back with the code even though I told them we were stuck on the beach. We did meet up with another kind soul who gave us the code so we could exit the beach. Even though the house is at the end of a street with a large sign clearly marked Dead End, we still had about 10 cars turn around in the driveway per day. I’d say 3 cars would fit on the driveway without anyone having to move their cars. The screened in porch & pool sold us on this place. TVs in downstairs and upstairs living rooms as well as TVs in all 4 bedrooms. House close to airport so expect daily fly overs. IT responded fast with emerg"

"Great location
The house is in a fantastic location - 2 minute walk on wooded path to the beach. The house is very comfortable and roomy, with two sitting areas, one upstairs and one downstairs. The property is at the end of a cul de sac which was a bonus, and has a nice screened in porch. Be aware that you need to bring or buy any and all consumables. Island Time doesn't even provide salt and pepper, much less complimentary keurig cups. There is the bare minimal supply of paper towels and toilet paper. "

"House needs maintenance
Upon arrival the first thing we were met with before entering the house was bags of dog poop and trash right outside the door with flies surrounding the area. Walked in and then was overcome by the smell of cigarette smoke. The main floor was decent enough until I came to the sink area, coffee still left in the pot in the counter. The windows looked like something g was thrown at them, then dried covering the windows with ����‍♀️. Then to walk outside. There is a walk way from the driveway to the pool which was completely blocked with thrown rafts, sand toys, etc. the pool was filled with pine straw and debris, large weeks in the brick patio, the outside of the house looks like it has never been pressure washed or cleaned. The hoses were left laying out all around the pool area, also along every walkway from the drive to the yard. (Apparently they water their grass with hoses and they just leave them out, not rolling up or putting away) we had small children along with my 90 yr old mother. This was a huge tripping safety issue. The downstairs bedrooms and bathroom have broken furniture, tub looks like it hasn’t been properly cleaned in a very long time. We spent the first few hours cleaning up, throwing trash away, pulling weeds, etc. the management company was suppose to send out a air purifier for the cigarette smell, that never happened so we opened all the windows and doors to air it out. The freezer door open every time you open and shut the refrigerator door. The management company came out along with the pool maintenance company. They did the best they could to make the house a tad better, but this house is going to need some major attention. We decided to finish our vacation since we were there celebrating my mothers 90th bd, and not let the shape of this house ruin our time. The cleaning fee for this house was $400 for three nights. They refunded $200. I would def not recommended this house until major"

"Fun beach house
My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay at this beach house! We thought the walk to the beach was a fun, adventurous trip through the foliage. The pool was great to play in, even in September. The house had everything we needed and we had zero issues to reach out about. Communication was easy and with quick responses, too. We would absolutely stay here again! Only gripe would be how frequently people turn around on the dead end road but not a deal breaker! "

"Great Locsrion for Us!
Great location for us as we are very familiar with this part of the island. The backyard of this house needs cleaned up. Lots of old furniture, old paint cans, trash, etc. back there. Some kid is going to get hurt. At night, there is no lighting out front on the steps. The solar lights mounted on the railings do not work nor do any of the little lanterns stick in the ground. It felt dangerous. Loved the front screened porch and pool. The bedrooms were good sized as was the kitchen and living room. Our code to the beach walk path down the street did not work so we were forced to use the path thru the foliage and over the dunes. It was a short walk and not a problem. This house is at the end of the street so we had a lot of cars turning around in the driveway, just be prepared for that. Other than that, the property is pretty private."

"Cute Beach Cottage
This beach cottage is very cute! It was very clean and adequate, kitchen was well stocked and up to date. There were plenty of linens and towels. The screened porch was lovely to sit on in the evenings. Location was great....a dead end street and right next to the beach path.
However, we were disappointed in the pool area. There was little to no grass around pool...pool furniture was broken and totally inadequate. The area around yard had junk and trash in it. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of cottage did not match the pool area...very disappointing. We pointed it out to Island Time so hopefully will be taken care of going forward.
Island Time was very responsive and helpful. Overall, our stay was relaxing!"

"Great stay
This was our first time to Hilton Head and this home provided a great base to explore from. We appreciated that it wasn't in the busy section and that the beach was a 2 min walk down a beautiful path.
Be aware that the management company will impose a surcharge not disclosed for using a credit card + 3.5%??? I felt that was offside and should be disclosed. That said, we had a few small issues and the mgmt company was very helpful and attentive. We were impressed with their service.
On the critical side, all the windows were very dirty and needing a spring clean as well as the grounds. The interior is as per the pictures, but the grounds could use attention.
All in, good value."
