"Relaxing Family Vacation
We had an incredible stay. The rental was a nice, clean unit. The location is wonderful with the pool in view and beach just a short walk away, while also being in close proximity to the pickleball courts and golf range. The property staff was great to work with. We would recommend using the VayKLife beach gear rentals. We rented bikes, a cart, beach chairs and umbrellas. It was waiting for us at the door when we arrived. We biked pretty much everywhere we went -- around Palmetto Dunes, to the harbor, Veterans Park, shops, and restaurants, etc. We had so much fun and hope to be back very soon!"

"Wonderful Vacation
Our vacation couldn't have been better. Condo was just as nice as it looks. The pool was right outside our door and it was just a short walk to the beach. Rental company checked with us twice to make sure there were no issues. Would definitely rent again."

"Great first vacation in Hilton Head
We really enjoyed our time in Hilton Head. Despite some paving/stone work within the parking lots (we were advised in advance), it was well managed and did not impact our stay. The villa was very clean and was very convenient to the beach and to the pickleball and tennis courts. "

"Great Location
Overall great location. The place needs a little work...example, the door would not lock on a few occasions. (It appears that someone had tried to use a screwdriver in the past to get in and thus the lock just needs to be replaced) There was construction of some sort going on throughout the day with the banging of hammers and found a few “critters aka bugs roaches” inside the condo. Some of the furniture could be replaced but overall our stay was good with a GREAT location. "

"Recent visit
Our mistake..... 27 steps up and down. We should have asked. In our mid to late 70’s, this wasn’t good. Decently close to beach. Clean but some minor details needed attention throughout condo, but not a life or death situation. It was very quiet and safe feeling at night."

"First Time at Palmetto Dunes
In the overall, very good. Island Time staff excellent. Unit a little run down in some respects, particularly the windows. Unfortunately, the bedroom and balcony face the service side of the Marriot. And there is no assigned parking for the villa - the listing is misleading in that regard. A couple of very comfortable lounging chairs in the TV area."

"Great Location
I spent 6 weeks in this unit January-February. Location to beach is excellent. When the Dune's House is open it will even be better. It is a couple flights up, so some great exercise for those looking to stretch their legs. I would like a few items installed in unit for longer stay visitors like towel bars, place for food in kitchen, miscellaneous items. That being said, whenever i asked for something the property manager was extremely quick to bring something over. Big TVs in every room, plenty of seating in main room. The view off patios is of hotel next door, but you are a few yards from beach - sunrise is beautiful and different every morning! I have stayed in Palmetto Dunes for last 5 years and would definitely stay at this unit again."

Lovely condo on the third floor, super close to the beach, right by the pool property management did a great job making sure the place was clean. Furniture, appliances, TVs in need of updating, also mattress in king suite and especially the pillows. But we enjoyed our stay! "

"Things could be better
We have stayed at this condo seven times, this was the first time under this management. We love the place, BUT (1) price was almost 30% higher, and expected to go up again next year, (2)while it was spotless, the refrigerator wasn't working - we finally had to flip a switch in the fuse box - and at least three light bulbs were either missing or not working, (3) we were locked out Sunday night (late!) because we were mistakenly given a code that was only good for 2 days-we sat on the steps for 30 minutes before help arrived, (4)check in was 4 PM, check out 10 AM - previously 1 PM and 12 noon - we lost 1/2 a day. Also the pool had been closed, but it did reopen a day after we called to complain!"
