"Best family get together ever!
I will say I wish renters would appreciate this place and care for it nicer than they have. Little things, nothing big. When we had a problem with a door, Joe had someone there the next day and took care of it. This place was perfect for the number of people we had, everyone had a bed, most had their own bathroom. The kitchen table brought everyone together for meals so I loved that. The spa pool was the best for kids and adults, had a fire in the pit one night and room to play cornhole. Walk to the beach was easy and not far at all, fires on the beach and kids had a blast and the ladies laughed ourselves silly watching teens and the old guys play football on the beach. I'd stay here again in a heart beat. Thanks!"

"Huge house but dirty and neglected
We had a group of three families with a total of 13 people stay in this house in July. It is about a block’s walk off the beach and is easy to access US 101. There were a lot of positives with the house as it has many bedrooms and bathrooms. However, we found the house was not cleaned very well. There were Cheerios and goldfish from the previous renters underneath the rug and couch. Hairs all over the bathroom. The carpet in the bedrooms was not very clean and had stains in many of the bedrooms. And one of the dishwashers was an ill repair, falling out of the cupboard. The deck had not been power, washed, or cleaned and several months And several of the lights didn’t even have knobs to turn on and off. The air conditioning did not work, and there were no ceiling fans to move the air around as we had to open the windows. Overall, this house was great for a big group of people and was a Central location to go and explore. The owners need to spend some time and money on doing a deep, clean and hiring a better cleaning crew."

"Very nice place with lots of room for the family and guests. The house is close to the beach access which made it great for the kids. For how much money this place costs though you would think they would have a better access into the property. The gravel road leading to the house has huge potholes that need to be filled in. This is my only complaint, and we hope the owners will add some gravel to the road for future guests. "

"Vacation Home for Large Groups & Stormy Weather
Bedrooms and Bathrooms Galore! Do you like to sleep late or take walks on the beach? Do you enjoy late night games or TV marathons? The kitchen is fully stocked with dishware and appliances. This is perfect. The massive table leaves room on one end for food/drink while playing games on the opposing end. If you don't like games you can watch TV or videos in the great room, in a bedroom or playroom upstairs. There are four lower-level bed/bathrooms for young children or those who cannot manage stairs. It stormed all week-end so we enjoyed the space, warmth, food, games, TV, laughing, stories and friendship!

"Perfect for large family gatherings.
The house has plenty of rooms and bathrooms, that were perfect for our large family gathering. We appreciated how well appointed the kitchen was, and the incredible family sized island. Cooking was a dream in this kitchen. The only thing that detracted from this rental was its lack of a view. It was centrally located for day trips to both Lincoln City and Newport. "

"Family Retreat
General condition of the property was OK but not great. The pool was half full, one of the freezer doors would not open, the rooms were smaller than the pictures indicated, there was only dishwasher soap for five loads, there was no soap for the showers, the online description said you had to bring your own propane which seemed ridiculous.
Compared to the houses we have rented over the last few years this was somewhat over priced for what you got (no view, some tiny bedrooms)."

"Large Group - Great Space
This house was perfect for seven couples and two singles. All having their own rooms, six of which had private bathrooms... a strong plus! We were there for a work retreat and enjoyed the home, it met our needs. The kitchen was well stocked, we loved the long table fitting all of us together. It was a bit snug to pass through between the table the galley side of the kitchen. It was nice having two dish washers and ovens. Hot tub was nice, though only one guest used it, because it was January and cold out! The house was very clean, no complaints there to share. We had a challenge with the keyless lock, apparently it was a dead battery. It got worked out the next day. Beds slept comfortably for most, plenty of towels. It’s hard to find a home for large groups that offers equal/similar room options, usually someone is sleeping on a futon or pull out couch, etc. I like that all the rooms had a Queen or King bed, most had tv’s. Many in our group accessed the beach area and enjoyed morning walks! There’s a local grocery store a half mile away with a very nice staff! Easy access in to town and Lincoln City. As mentioned in other reviews which doesn’t reflect on the property, the street to the house is full of potholes. Drive carefully or you can use the street to the north of property and drive in from the back side! Boom, problem solved!
I’d gladly use this home again! "

"Winter holiday stay
The house is large and comfortable as described. The swim spa and hot tub were fantastic. The beach is a short walk and is gorgeous. In general the house is well furnished and supplied, though guests should be aware that certain amenities provided in most rental houses are not provided here, such as shower gel/soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, hair dryers, games/puzzles/books, etc. There were not enough trash bags, paper towels, dishwasher pods, etc. (And there were only six of us in a house that sleeps 20, so there should have been plenty.) The glassware was mostly plastic party cups and coffee mugs; there was only one regular drinking glass and only two wine glasses. There was no aluminum foil, plastic wrap/bags, or storage containers for leftovers.
Also be aware that guests cannot stream content on the many TVs in the house because the TVs are not set up for that. Guests should bring an hdmi adapter or a roku stick/apple tv device if they want to watch anything other than broadcast TV. We wish we had known that in advance.
The manager, Joe, was generally very responsive and helpful. We had to delay our arrival by a day due to a snowstorm because Joe's regular cleaners couldn't get there to ready the house for us. This was inconvenient but the owners will refund us for that night.
All in all we enjoyed our stay, but the house could be better equipped."

"10/8 - 10/11 2021 weekend
The agreement was straightforward but ended up being different than what management asked for checkout procedure. Management was very accommodating, professional, and easy to reach to ask clarifying questions about the houses and the agreement. We broken kitchen appliance and they were willing to let us replace it ourselves. I’d recommend aligning the agreement with the checkout procedure.
Overall very satisfied. Beach location was beautiful and amazing. The houses were very clean except for underwear, socks, and mask found in a couple rooms under the bed or in drawers, and there was sand in the jacuzzi. But very clean otherwise. "

The kitchen and table are huge and created a fun atmosphere of connection with one another. The swim spa is amazing. Great place to stay!"

Very nice home for a large group. Nice bedrooms and generous quantity of bathrooms. Close enough to the beach -- beach access was strenuous for older people. Property manager did not answer the phone but the local agent was helpful. Housekeepers thought we arrived a day too early, but it was resolved soon."

"Great house for families...
The family was able to be comfortable with the accommodations. We were all so please with the home, it was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. It was just a minute to the beach.
We had a couple of rainy days and when it rained we were able to spend family time in the big kitchen and living room.
There was plenty of storage for all of our stuff and the fridges held all of our food AND THEN SOME.
The management and staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
We will definitely be back next year and I just had to let people know about this gem

"Huge House on the Coast
We have stayed here 2 years in a row. It’s a wonderful house for large gatherings, plenty of rooms (many with bathrooms attached). We love the large kitchen (with 2 fridges, 2 ovens, 2 dishwashers, 2 microwaves) and huge table with seating for 20. There are some negatives; the water for showers is lukewarm at best (2years in a row), the road the house is on is DEEPLY rutted and although the walk to beach isn’t far, the trail from street to beach is not acceptable for mobility challenged folks. We actually wanted to rent for 2022, but they raised their rates for the same weekend over $1000 and we have too many young adults who don’t make the type of money needed to cover that increase. Also this house is located more near Depoe Bay and is a good 20-30 minutes from the casino and main part of Lincoln City (but there is a grocery store just down the hwy)."

"Lincoln City large family rental
We really enjoyed our stay overall. The hot tub/pool spa was a BIG hit! We had young children there and it was much nicer than just a small hot tub. They swam and swam. The dining table area was awesome because our whole family could sit together for mealtime and lots of us could play games together. The house was clean, but not deep clean. There were things left from someone else under beds and couches and the laundry area was not clean. Overall it is a great property to rent. I just think it could have been cleaner."

"Wow
We rented two cabins near the beach in Oregon for a family reunion. Having the availability to sleep forty people was surprising, but to have it so close to the beach with the amenities of swim spas, huge kitchen facilities, friendly neighbors, and nearby activities for people of all abilities and interests was perfect. Both cabins were clean and very well maintained, ready for great fin with little worries. It was great! We will likely do it again in the future. "

"A perfect spot for our group, but could use updates
This is the third year we've used this property for a group retreat (15-18 people). There isn't a better option I know of that can house this many people: 10 bedrooms, plenty of private baths, huge dining table. We absolutely love the configuration.
The property was very clean. We were able to check in a bit early. The parking situation has improved year over year. It is a short walk to the beach.
Our issues / concerns are:
* The key code for lock was wrong, forcing me to call / text the local property manager to get a corrected code.
* The Wifi code provided was wrong, forcing us to find the access point and get the code from it.
* The door handle in the upstairs music room is broken.
* One of the dishwashers is not attached to the wall / counter
* The hot tub water was lukewarm at best
* The road leading into the property is in terrible shape with many deep potholes
I think these are all solvable and hope the property continues to improve, as it has over the past three years."

"House at Lincoln beach
We were with family so we had a good time but was definitely disappointed in the the property not being as advertised, the house wasn't real clean, one of the gas ovens didn't work so was challenging to get everything baked and kept warm till dinner time, No wifi at all period! The coffee maker leaked and made a mess no coffee syrups as advertised, None of the tvs worked as far as cable or satellite, the hot tub was 92 degrees when we got there had to turn on and wait till the next day, the ac did not work well at all had to open all the windows, had cop come by 30 minutes after we got there and and told us we had one to many vehicles and the city was going to fine us $1000 if we did move one so After unloading everything I had to go find a spot to park, talked to a local guy and he said not worry about it that he never heard of anyone having a problem said half the houses on our street were empty but I wasn't going to try that so had drive a couple miles to a hotel and ask permission to park there, the cleaning ladies were some of the most rude people I've come across check out was at 11am we had everything and everyone out by 10 minutes after 11 and was doing a last walk through to check to make sure we not missed doing something and or forgot anything come outside and this car stops out front so I walk over to see if they needed something the first thing out of her mouth was you need to leave right now!! Not a hi we are the cleaning ladies here to clean will you be gone soon? Or some version of that, Im glad it was a lady and not a guy that told us to clear out now, well lets just say I probably wouldn't have just let that go. So was it bad enough to wreck our vacation no but will we rent there again probably not. And to be fair to property care takers we didn't call and have them send some one out to look at ac, oven, tv, wifi,I figured we didn need a technician to be working around when we are having family time just have your stuff working as it should."

"Mixed experience--unrealized potential
When we turned down Lincolnshire to get to the house, we were met with a surprisingly rundown neighborhood and a rough gravel road. As we pulled in to the house, we noticed the landscape was not well maintained, berry bushes growing and blocking the side gate, broken dead branches still laying in the beds where they fell. The front door paint was in poor condition and the smell from the garbage that was set out was very bad (crab or clams apparently). As we entered the home, it was very warm and smelled.
It did not feel clean. The upholstery on the living room furniture had obvious stains and the coffee table was pretty "beat up". One fridge had a missing cover for the meat/deli drawer...broken, perhaps? The deck had two old propane tanks sitting on it and had not been swept. The firepit was a haphazard set of concrete blocks stacked messily to create a rather small enclosed area for a fire where one could look into the backyard, which was not mowed, had lots of blackberry briars and an old table frame without the top sitting in the middle of it. So first impressions were not good. This home has lots of potential but it has not been maintained well. A lot of the maintenance requires what we call good old fashioned elbow grease. Our facilities director checked the filters on the furnace/ fan system and discovered they appeared to never have been air could get through them. We took them out and set them on the deck as instructed by Joe, the contact person for the house. Once those were removed, the fan on the furnace system created good air flow and we were able to improve the smell. The internet went out the second day we were there and never came back on. The oven with the Viking stove top did not work, but we were able to use the wall oven.
The spas worked wonderfully. We LOVED having 8 bathrooms and a bed for everyone. We appreciated the beach and beach access and had a wonderful time playing on the beach. Thank you."

"Inside was good outside not so good
The inside was good and clean. But there were TVs that did not work, We called about them numerous times but they were never fixed. And one of the Ovens did not work. Also the Hot tub was like a sewer it was so dirty and the chemical smell was so strong. And the swim spa was full of sand. We called everyday about them, we had 9 grandkids that wanted to swim, but no one came for three days. We were only there for 5 days. The house was big enough for our family but trying to get things fixed was so frustrating. Also the hot tub and swim spa was in the middle of two houses and the other house was able to watch us in the pool and tub. It would have been nice to have it a bit more private. In the ad for this house it said that it was ocean view. That was a lie. It’s a short walk to the beach and there is no Ocean view. Also the yard was not cared for at all, It was a mess. Lots of weeds and a broken table in the back yard. If I could do it over again I would search for another house. "

Was notified that needed to move to adjoining propertydue malfunction of hot tub. The house was great. Notified you of some noted issues when we arrived. House was located further from the beach than I expected. Access to beach a block away & trail was very steep. Hot tub was well used. Loved the large kitchen & open living space. Kitchen very well equipped. House clean. Manager kept me well informed. Explored the coast from Cannon Beach to Florence. Great restaurants. Whale watching excursion was awesome. Some driving to grocery stores and shopping. This was part of the fun for our family."

"MLK Weekend
The house was very clean and spacious. There were a few issues. One of the ovens didn't work. No one could connect to the internet network provided. When we called the contact person, no one responded. It would be helpful if a house guide was available for guests providing contact information and general instructions for the internet, cable service, etc. It would also be nice if additional blankets were provided. The comforters are quite thin and some of our group were cold."

"over all a wonderful place to gather for a week
my overall experience at the house was very good. The layout of the house was perfect for our large family. We especially loved the Kitchen and how well it was stocked. We were delighted with the size of the table also. The pool table was a great attraction for the young adults in the family. I have only 2 less complementary things to say. The parking situation for a house accommodating 20 people coming from several locations was very difficult. The water was not warm enough for a comfortable shower and the bath tub in my room filled with water during my shower, slow draining. I would definitely love to stay there again.

"5 star price 2 star facility
Many bedrooms but they are small. 1 had no closet, just a dresser. My bedroom had closet but not even a nightstand. Bathrooms were small- sinks had no counter space to put anything. Homes at half this price provided shampoo, etc. Access to beach was not good- closest ones were very steep and eroded- had to drive to get good beach access. Kids did love the hot tub.

"A Act Of Gratitude Service.....
My Family had an awesome time. This was a difficult time due to the health challenges of on of our parents. But to see the smile on our fathers face and his interaction, because he was at ease with space an accommodation. Did our heart good. So it was relaxing, enjoyable for all our family young and old. They have request this to be our yearly spot. The WFi and some of the TV’s were not operating correctly. Otherwise it was on point from cleanliness to excellent custom service when needing help with the property."

"Eclipsed in Lincoln Beach
Good pnts: rooms were clean, 10 bedrms, 7 bath is good for family reunions, hot tub, lap pool
Bad pnts: Poor property management and threatening owner. Only 5 vehicles allowed onsite parking for 22 people. Welcome package clearly states additional offsite parking available and directs you to local grocery store, even called the office before leaving to confirm BUT OFFSITE PARKING DIDN’T EXIST!
Full story: We stayed during the week of the solar eclipse, I drove my 27’ motorhome to reduce the number of cars (had 8 in the RV). About 3PM Saturday received call from the property mgr that we had to move it or have it towed. No problem, we’ll take the RV to the offsite lot. WRONG. After parking at the gravel lot went to verify with store mgr that this was OK. NOPE, no agreement exists and if we left it there, it would be towed. I even offered to pay for parking. Called the property mgr, he said it was allowed before but obviously they had NO written agreement but he said he talked to the local State Park and they were taking overflow parking (remember eclipse weekend). Drove to the State Park where the rangers politely smiled and said no way someone talked to them because they weren’t allowing parking. So the property manager LIED then didn’t answer calls. Later the owner called and said we need to move the RV NOW and questioned why we would drive a motorhome to stay at his rental and we were going to make him lose his license, not even sure where that came from as Lincoln County has no such rule. We didn’t want our RV towed so we had to leave. Not once did he offer help.
We contacted the owner upon our return home and reviewed the contract again which says nothing about what type of vehicles allowed to park. We also checked with Lincoln County and there is no such regulation, I just don’t think he understands the rules and we paid the price for it. Very disappointing, basically his threats to tow ruined our weekend for NO REASON! HE HAS CHOSEN NOT TO RES"
