"Very nice and pleasant
We had a great time while on our family vacation at DI Beach Club. The condo was spacious, comfortable and decorated beautifully. We had 5 adults with more than enough room. Easily could sleep 4 singles and 2 couples. More if someone took the couch. We did have some issues with our GPS coming in and couldn’t find the property. I called the number and had to leave a message (we came in on a Sunday) but never got a return call until Monday around 9:00. That was frustrating. There were also some minor issues with 2 of the TVs and one of the toilets which didn’t get addressed until the next day because of the late return call. After that however, things were great. The couches and beds were comfy. Plenty of towels. The chest in the bunk room is busted and the power cord to the TV has to be balanced on top of the chest or the weight pulls it from the back of the TV. A couple pot holders in the kitchen would be helpful for those that cook. There are a few beach chairs and toys in the patio closet but they are very worn. The condo was clean for the most part but the floors were filthy. We had to wear shoes from day 1 or our feet were black with dirt. Also the beach is not as close as we had hoped. It is beach front, but probably a quarter mile walk to the ocean edge. The last thing I will mention is the door keys- only 1 key will lock the door. Both sets would unlock though. This was inconvenient since we didn’t always leave the condo at the same time. Overall it was a nice trip and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you for sharing your home with us. "

"spring break getaway
The unit is so nice! We own the unit next door and needed more room. We were so impressed with the updates and changes made. It was so comfortable and slept everyone. Thank you for letting us share your home for our break. this is our favorite 2nd unit to have rented! Been vacationing at DI beachclub for 20 years! always a fantastic vacay!! "

"Mostly nice condo
Very nice and well equipped condo. The only problems were the bunk room beds were covered in pet hair. We had to wash all bed linens including upper bunks upon arrival. (Cats?) the air conditioning pooped out on the last day. Otherwise great place. Not fond of playing maid on vacation though. "

"Family Vacation
Our condo was beautiful and as described. There were a few inappropriate guests but that was not the fault of management and one night management or someone came out and shut it down which was appreciated. Overall it was an amazing experience and we plan to return!!"

We had a wonderful time.. The Unit is decorated beautifully! It had everything you could possibly need and more.. The view of the beach is perfect. The furniture is very comfortable and very classy. The dining room table is beautiful. If I had to add w little what would I give the owners as a suggestion to upgrade... add up to date coffee maker, thicker curtains and new dresser in the master bedroom and a king size bed in the front bedroom . "

"Overall a good experience
the condo was beautiful ��! Its not very close to the water, but its not a hard walk to get to it. The pools had poop floating in it, so we didn't swim which was disappointing. One of the bedspreads had blood on it when we arrived, so we had to use one of the extra blankets in the condo. The area is safe and mostly quiet. I loved that the town was so small and quiet. I love dauphin island, and we will be back. I cant say we will stay at the same condo, but it could have been worse."

"Disappointed
I stayed in this unit 6 years ago and loved it and recommended to other family members. I Was very disappointed this time in the upkeep of the unit. It was clean except carpet desperately needs to be changed. It smelled like a dog had been in this unit and no pets are supposed to be allowed. The master shower needs a little more attention and shower curtains in the other 2 bathrooms need to be replaced. It took a long time for the clothes to dry in the dryer ( you may need to check the vent) and the furniture is starting to show a lot of wear . I sorry I’m being so critical but for the amount that you charge night I expected the same as before. "

"A hidden secret
We had never been to Dauphin Island and we fell in love with this very quiet and peaceful island! Our condo was perfect for all 8 of us that stayed there! The condo had everything we needed! This was a wonderf experience and I’m sure our family will come back again! This is a perfect place to spend some quality family time! I would highly recommend this island and this condo! "

"Unobstructed Gulf View
Condo was between two groups of palm trees so great unobstructed view. Weather was good. Waves were great for everyone Saturday and Monday. Water temperature in gulf and pools was warm, but refreshing. Island Rainbow was swamped with orders Saturday evening. Not taking any more orders when we called ~7pm. Got the pizzas for Sunday lunch instead. Went to Fort Gaines "again", but too hot to enjoy and no blacksmiths or cannon fire on Tuesday. Museum is air conditioned thankfully. No place to sit and wait in A/C gift shop for anyone who doesn't want to go through Fort "again.""

"FAMILY VACATION 2017
We like the quiet, "non touristy" beaches and were happy about that. Condo was wonderful, the island was nice, but we were not happy with the beach.
We were most disappointed with the water. The water was brown, not necessarily dirty, but not the pretty blue we are used to on the pan-handle. The beach was not the best, due to people not cleaning up after themselves. Sorry to say, this will not be a beach we want to visit again. If you want a nice place to stay, it's great. If you are looking for a beach, it wouldn't be my first choice. "

"Fantastic!
Location was great, beach was quiet and clean, two pools ( one warmer and one cooler) where perfect for the grandchildren, all the other guest where friendly....just had a perfect vacation. Our unit did not have the electric grill, but we used one of the charcoal grills in the common area. The unit was clean and updated. Just a wonderful experience. We will definitely be coming back."

"Sunny spring break
Hi All, My wife and I come to Dauphin Island twice a year, we brought our daughters and grandkids this trip. The condo was fantastic, great view, good furniture, flat screen TV's in every room. The kitchen was well equipped as well we experience many of the dining options on and off the island too. Except for a couple days of rain, the weather was perfect. I recommend DI to lots of my friends, one of them was in a condo next door with his family, they can't wait to come back! We will return in September, we've already started the countdown! Don't miss this opportunity to make memories with your family, DI is a unique beach experience you won't get anywhere else "

"dauphin island rental
we were very pleased with our stay. the condo was large and very well maintained. we also liked that it was well stocked with books, games and cooking spices. this was very helpful since there are so few placed to eat out on the island.. can't wait to go there again"

"Return to Dauphin Island
It was a relaxing time. After returning after 8 years the island has changed, but the people remained very friendly. Our condo was very clean and updated. The boardwalk to the beach is in much need of an update to keep up with the 200 yards (est.) of additional beach. In general, we had a great time and would bring the family back again."
