"Excellent and Relaxing
We had an excellent stay at Village by the Beach I914K. The property description was accurate and the pool right off our private balcony was so much fun and relaxing. The secondary splash-pad/pool/playground was also a must visit when you are there. The unit was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The kids had so much fun playing the arcade game console in the second bedroom. We loved the location to the beach, which was right around the corner. We will for sure recommend this unit to our friends and hope to be back soon. Thanks!"

"Great Family Trip

The location and condo was very nice. It was big and faced the large pool. Only issue was the toilets are very low flow and had a hard time just flushing water at times. Other than that, would rent again."

"Minivacay with fam of 6
My vacation rental experience was fantastic! The big pool was the star of the show, I have 4 kids so it was super fun. The pool was fed cool water, clean, safe and conveniently right in front of our rental.
The rental was perfect for our family of 6. We had everything we needed for the kitchen (I knew to bring my own seasonings). All the beds were comfy, A/C stayed cool and we had plenty of towels and extra linens. I had few questions and the office answered me promptly and took care of me. The wifi was the only hiccup, but that’s Soectrum and an island full of vacitoners. We would just go in to town in Corpus and get wifi or better service; it was kind of nice not having to be on devices or answer emails so it all worked out ;) We will def rent again. Thank you!

"What more could have gone wrong?
We always enjoy our time spent with the family at the beach staying and have always stayed at Village By the Beach. This year was fraught with mishaps and was more worrisome and frustrating than relaxing. The beds were not comfortable, we requested additional blankets for the kids to lounge with and were refused, so had to buy our own at Wal-Mart, the internet was on and off at random, and the refrigerator went out during the middle of our stay causing us to have to throw out most of the refrigerator full of food! We were provided a tiny mini fridge that held a very small portion of what was salvageable, with the rest being placed on ice in borrowed ice chests. Prior to the fridge going out, we called about the ice maker not working. A repairman was sent out but after he left the freezer smelled like melting plastic. We just gave up, turned it off and bought ice for the duration of the stay. for what we spent, we did not get our monies worth this time around. We'll look around before we book for next year."

"Cute Place
The rental space was great for our family. Very close to the beach. We didn't utilize the pools much because it was very crowded. Also we showed up to having around 50 gnats in the rental, mainly in the kitchen. They were more of an annoyance than anything. Management had someone come by, but they told us they couldn't spray anything to get rid of them, and there were plenty of gnats left after."

We recently stayed at this condo and absolutely loved it! They've thought of everything you need to have while you're on vacation. It's in a great location and the pool is right outside the door. My granddaughters had the best time and we all loved it. No one wanted to go home. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Not As Great As Past Years
We have been staying at Village By The Beach for 8 years. We have always had a completely perfect experience. This year was definitely not perfect. A few things put a damper on our time in Corpus Christi.
1. We were not allowed to check in until 6:20 pm, more than 2 hours after the promised time. That may not seem like a big deal to some but with 3 young children, it totally messed up the rhythm of our first day. It delayed our grocery trip. It delayed having a place to unload our stuff and use the restroom after a 7hr drive. We couldn't even sneak into the pool without our keys. It basically took away the first afternoon of our trip. We were told that cleaning crews were running behind due to high capacity. I call BS on that. There are only so many units. In the summer, on peak days, it should be ASSUMED that they will be high turnover and there should be staff on hand to manage it. And don't tell me that staff was low because of covid aftermath because we traveled last summer in the peak of covid and were allowed to check in on time. In the 8 years we have been visiting this property, we have NEVER been asked to check in late. In fact, most years we have been given EARLY check-in. This is mismanagement and started our vacation off on the wrong foot.
2. When we were allowed to check-in, one of the bunk beds was completely stripped without any linens on it. The clean linens were there, just laying on the bed. So, I got the fun experience of climbing up to the top bunk to make a bed within minutes of checking in. Lovely. I understand that maybe they were doing that to save time because cleaning crews were so behind, but it would have taken a really quick check on our reservations to see we had 3 children and would need all three beds made. Another missed opportunity.
3. The wifi didn't work beyond day 1. Not at all. Not having wifi for devices during downtime was annoying. Also, our kitchen sink wasn't functional the last 2 days. "

"We Will Be Back

"April Vacation
Overall we enjoyed the stay however a few things that the property manager may want to look into:
The water pressure in the bathrooms are really strong. Was uncomfortable to shower
The shower curtains in the master bathroom need to be replaced. They smell like mildew. They should be replaced with plastic and not sheet looking ones.
The remote control in the master bathroom was broken. Could not enjoy watching tv while in bed. "

"Great Place !
We came here from Atlanta for Spring break and it was a great experience. The condo is clean and well equipped. It was perfect for our family of 6. The kids loved the pool right outside the door and we relaxed on the small patio. The beach is very close and everyone enjoyed the expansive sand and moderate waves ! The bbq areas are nice and we enjoyed grilling in the evening. "

"Great last minute vacation
We made a last minute decision to go to Padre for a few days to finish out the summer. I travel extensively and am quite particular about where I stay. I looked for hours for a place that was close to the beach with a nice pool and classy decor. What a beautiful property and place. The condo had everything stocked and was immaculate. Furnishings and decor were beautiful with a beach theme. Easy check in and check out process. We will be back this year hopefully for another long weekend. Loved the video games in the kids room, such great memories of playing them when I was a kid."

"Our (Property Management) Experience
The condo exceeded our expectations, clean and fully stocked with whatever one needs in the kitchen. Management staff were helpful and prompt until in March, 10 college kids moved into the condo next door for the week, all under 25 years of age. We actually had to call police on them because of their behavior. We reserved February and March, February's weather 24 days of bad weather and 4 days of partly cloudy and chilly. March was a month of so many guests (?) moving in and out it was difficult to separate out the who were renters and who were unauthorized to visit the pool. The locked gates were NOT locked which allowed non-authorized "beach roamers" in. We decided to rent in 2020 but were informed someone else was renting the condo, we had no rights of first refusal. The condo is beautiful, kudos to the owners, we have chosen not to return because of the constant fog, rain, and marginal weather. But, the food in the area is outstanding and we will iss those great meals."

"As close to perfect as it gets!
We loved being at Village by the Beach. The unit was well decorated, well stocked and plenty of room for us. We found it to be very comfortable. The complex is located just two blocks from the beach and had a wonderful heated saltwater pool which we used almost every day."

"Great North Padre condo close to the beach
Very nice, beautifully decorated one story condo. Spacious and has everything you need. Short walk to the beach. Great pool area. Some condos are next to the pool and some are not but it really doesn't make any difference. The condos are all well built and very quiet when you go inside."

"Winter Texan
Considering Corpus Christi had an unusually cold winter, we were unable to enjoy the beach or beautifully heated pool due to the off and on drizzle and rain during our 5 day stay.On a lighter note we were able to visit with family and friends which was priceless. Our condo was so cute and beachie as shown in the photos.We were able to have our friend over for dinner, plenty of seating and space to accommodate.Although we were unable to swim during our stay the pool view from the patio was absolutely stunning at night. We ate at Docs on the island and their seafood was delicious! Also checked out Corpus Christi beach and ate at Pier 99 one of our favorite go to's everytime we visit Corpus.We would definitely like to come back possibly spring break "

"A Pleasant Home Away From Home
We were in awe. Our poolside view was breathtaking. It was a resort style pool. Besides that, the room from the front porch to the last bedroom was amazing. We appreciate the fact that what we saw online and requested was exactly what we got. The cute guest signing book was a nice touch to the experience. The only con to our stay were the busy ants, but we didn't feel too bothered by them to bring it up but other guest may feel concerned. The beds were comfortable and everything that you could possibly need was provided. We have already told friends and family about this place and we will definitely be coming back."

Always love the beach and the town as well. Needs back door to parking area. When you stay in the units around the pool it makes it to much work to pack luggage around the entire complex to get to your room. Air in the master is horrible had to go to cvs to buy fans to cool off. New units so it made up for a few negs but after a few years old these will be off the stay list. Outside people use the pool everyday. Needs wrist bands for quest to keep out extra swimmers to allow the guest more space. A family of 8 was there everyday that lived in corpus that came over to swim. Yes will stay again within a year but as they get older will stop due to listed fails. Back doors to parking is huge for us. "

"Great Condo!!
We stayed in unit 1914 at Village by the Beach and were so pleased with the accommodations. It's a brand new property and it shows. The cleanliness was remarkable. Very nice furnishings, lots of space, and everything you might need in the kitchen. Everything worked and we had no issues, except the tightness of the door handle when trying to leave the unit. My mother had to use a rubber pot holder to open it because it required some force. The unit faces the pool, which is always a busy place, but it didn't bother us and the bedrooms were far enough away that the noise didn't bother us at all. They light the pool up at night with pink and white lights, which looked great. Walking distance to beach. We really liked this place and plan to return. They also include some dishwasher soap and washing machine detergent, along with coffee filters, paper towels, a sponge and dish soap. "

"Perfect vacation
This rental experience exceeded our expectation. Check in was very fast and professional. The unit is almost brand new and perfect. I love the decoration. It is pretty spacious and has everything we needed. Our girls loved the bunk bed. The heated pool was definitely one of the highlight of our stay. We used the BBQ by the pool for our evening meals. I appreciated the "large" dining table other units did not have. 6 people can seat comfortably. The beach was 10 minutes walk even thought i wish there was a direct access in front of the property. I ended up driving there as our kiddos were getting tired by the end of the day. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you!"

"Wonderful Family Vacation
We really enjoyed the beautiful condo. The pictures looked exactly like the home; everything was cheery and clean, very new. The owners thought of everything. We were able to grill at the pool, which was right outside the patio. We had a great time at the pool, and the beach was only a 5 min walk away. The beds were extremely comfortable. We will definitely be returning for years to come!"

"Our Private Oasis
This was our first annual ladies getaway and we could not have picked a better place to stay! The townhome was beautifully decorated and very clean and had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing time! The location is walking distance to the beach and the beach was nice and clean. On Sunday we had the entire beautiful, clean pool to ourselves. It was our own private oasis! On the morning we were leaving we had one small issue with the lights in the bathroom and within 15 minutes they fixed the issue. They were very quick and efficient and also allowed us early check in! We would definitely stay here again."
