"Great location needs cosmetic work.
This condo rental has a lot to recommend it. That being said, it needs some work. The laundry area was missing a door. Until needs a fresh coat of paint, shower curtain on the outside had black mold. The picture on booking does not exactly match the unit. We loved the location. It was right on the beach and centrally located within cocoa. The place was mostly clean, beds were ok. It had a washer and dryer which were in good condition and easy to operate. The kitchen appliances were in good working order and clean, but a little dated. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed to cook with. Overall we really enjoyed this place. It really just needs a makeover.."

"Good privacy, pretty close to downtown, good surfing.
Awesome experience would stay again. Close to downtown, not so close to the pier. Good privacy and good surfing, beach access was nice. Only downside was ghost ants in the unit. So all food had to be kept in the fridge nothing left out. Other than that, great experience would stay again."

"Beautiful Place to Enjoy the Beach!
We stayed several nights and very much enjoyed our stay. There is 2 nice sized bedrooms and a gorgeous view, just steps from the ocean. Beautiful Sunrise. The caretaker was prompt and very nice. I would recommend this to friends. "

"Needs TLC
Nice location just steps from the beach. Had a great view of an evening rocket launch. Value was good. Condo was outdated and had a terrible musty smell. So bad caused asthma flare up. Couch was uncomfortable and back too short to sit. Smoke detectors kept beeping and the sliding door did not lock. The bedrooms both had their own baths which was nice but the queen bed had a plastic protector and was very uncomfortable. Sounded like you were sleeping on a potato chip bag. King bed was okay. Pillow were flat and no extras. Needs some TLC."

Beautifully decorated and cozy. Morning coffee on the patio listening to the waves and watching the sun come up. Perfect location close to everything in cocoa. Will definitely be back. "

"Great Family Trip!
The property description was accurate but looked better in real life. The place was clean and maintained. I had a question our first evening for the property manager, Cathy who was quick to respond and very helpful. The location to the beach, pool and BBQ were fantastic. We enjoyed the close proximity to great restaurants. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was very convenient. We would definitely go back. The couches were a little uncomfortable and a rug and coffee table would make the living room even more comfy. The location to the beach, pool and BBQ was perfect. Overall super happy with the place! Thank you!"

"Coco Beach Vacation
You can't beat the location. Direct access to the beach!! Also you are walking distance from great food and entertainment. The only thing keeping this from being a five star review is the guest bedroom and sliding glass door.
The guest bedroom bedframe and mattress need to be replaced. It was very squeaky and uncomfortable. Lastly, the sliding glass door is just about a 2-man job to open/close.
Everthing else was great and we would definitely stay here again!! Love Cocoa Beach!!"

"Terrible, old, rundown, unsafe unit.
Horrible. Broken master windows that do not lock and leak, allowing anybody on the walkway outside to just reach in and rob you. The patio door barely opens and closes. Missing bathroom, ventilation fan with rusted, warped metal on every surface. We reached out to the property manager, as per our email instructions, and received no help. Didn’t even receive a full roll of toilet paper to start with. The furniture is old, sagging and dirty. This place is unsafe and should not be rented until updated and fixed. I took pictures of all these issues. Finally, during our stay, we were told to vacate the back patio for 24 hours for painting when we reached out to the property manager for help, she ignored us. The property owner ignored us as well."

"Amazing Ocean Front View
We have stayed many times at Spanish Main and love the location with the view of the ocean. This unit was great because it was right near the walk way to the beach and with kids and chairs its nice its so close. The only complaint I would have is that it needs a lot of updating in the condo. The bathroom vanity didnt have a bottom to it, closet doors not shutting and just overall can tell it's been awhile since any updates have been made. I would def get this one again and recommend it to others. "

"The Good and Bad
There were 4 of us, 2 children and 2 adults. After arriving on Thursday evening, we had dinner at local restaurant. very good. Returned to the condo and tried to figure out how to turn on the TV. Nio instructions. Went to bed... YIKES the beds were completely broken in and linens pilled. It felt like sand in the bed. The bathroom wasn't particularly clean, scum around the sink. We spent most of our time on the beach... VERY nice and great location. The kitchen utensils were challenging to use. Lots of broken doors and furniture. Washer and dryer did work and there was a blow up bed that we used. Towels left much to be desired. Bring your toilet paper, and all other paper products. I'd give the property a 2 rating but the location a 5."

"Perfect Get-away
Great location and very peaceful! Even though the parking lot was at capacity, the grounds were quiet and you could not hear anyone around you at all once in the condo. The bedrooms separated from the living / dining rooms were a plus as well.. early morning risers didn't wake sleeping beauties. "

"Oceanfront condo review.
This Condo needs updating, it has a musty odor, there are ant traps placed in multiple spots (so a well known problem) but still tiny ants crawling all along the bathroom wall and in the master bedroom. The ceiling is pealing off, and I’m pretty sure the guest tub was dirty with old soap scum all around. I would not put my special needs daughter in it. We had one towel ( stained and a hole in it) and one washcloth each. The bath mat did not appear to be washed from previous people. If I hadn’t driven 16 hours I don’t think I would have stayed. The access to the beach is perfect so that was the one great thing. I had expensive camera equipment with me that was left behind daily so I did not call management because I did not want any possibility of it being taken. The two of us stayed a few days because I was too busy to put time, energy, or money in to seeking something else, we just stayed gone as much as possible. I realize this is not a good review, but it is an honest review. Description was not accurate other than the beach access and being beach front. "

This place needs a lot of work. It's in bad shape. Shame on the owner for not having this fixed. This location is great, but when the place is a fixer-upper, it's a big let-down. I would recommend this place after a big fix-up!"

"Nice location
We love Spanish Main, great views and location, the patio door was extremely hard to open and the 1st shower setting didn't move so you couldn't adjust the water temperature, other than that it was great."

"5 star location, unit not so much!
Loved the location! Patio over looked the beach , steps from the beach access, the complex was small and clean. The pool was beautiful and lots of grassy areas! The unit needs a total makeover! It hasn’t been touched in forever. The unit had a very musty smell probably due to the black mold on the bathroom ceilings and around the master window(which didn’t open, fire hazard?). The unit was in disrepair, ceiling was chipping and falling down, walls were patched and rough . The living room furniture was stained, I never sat on it. The mattresses needed replaced and the bedding was disgusting. The sheets were old and pilled, the comforter stained and gross. We actually left a night early because we were so uncomfortable. I would stay here again after a remodel just for the location! "

"Nice Location
the unit was clean and conveniently located with great views of the ocean. There were some things that need attention in the unit however. the blind in the living room and master bedroom were broken with missing pieces so anyone coming from the beach could see in. We had to hang a sheet over the window in the bare spots. There is no screen on the slider and the windows in the master are really hard to open for getting fresh air into the unit. The shower in the second bath we could not get to work, likewise the toilet in the second bath needs attention as it has trouble flushing. Beds were comfortable and the unit is neat and tidy with everything you will need. "

"Great Location!
We really liked the location! It was just steps to the beach and the pool. Overall nice condo. Had many things that were needed to cook meals. I loved that there was an umbrella, beach chairs, towels and toys in the unit. My biggest complaint was that there were blinds missing in the patio blinds and master bedroom blinds. Being on the first floor, that was a privacy issue with people walking by. I would stay there again. "

"The only thing good about this place is the location
I originally booked a different place and the unit was sold a few weeks before our trip, this was the only place available in the area we wanted to stay and now I know why. Location is excellent, the rest of the unit, not so much. None of the furniture is comfortable, the mattresses are so old you sink into a hole, the place was not clean, there were dust bunnies under everything and cobwebs on the ceiling. We made it work but I would not stay here again."
