"In Tahoe for a wedding
Great experience renting this space for a week-long trip to be in a wedding. Instructions were easy to follow/house was easy to access, communication was clear, and when we thought we had an issue with a bathroom water spout, it was quickly "fixed" (we just weren't pulling the handle hard enough). "Decent stay though not everything worked well
The rental was nice though one of the toilets did not flush we had to do it by hand which was very unpleasant, the mini fridge did not work and I found peoples socks still in the home along with floss in the medicine cabinet. Which indicates to me that the home was not cleaned thoroughly. "

"Great place to stay
House is clean and roomy"

"Whispering Pines Review
The house was very clean and comfortable. Great location. Only disappointment was the pool. It does not open until June. I would suggest the listing update this so others know the pool isn't available all year."

"Great place
It was excellent place, clean and good location close to the beach. We will not try the pool and hot tub facility. One bathroom lock (downstairs) did not work which needs fixing. "

"Reunion to the Lake
House was great for big group. Lots of room, and a big living/dining area for everyone to sit and hang out. Walking distance to the Lake, nice coffee shop right on the water to enjoy a hot drink while taking in the views. Convenient store and mini golf also located walking distance. "

"Good condo overall
Overall the condo worked well for our family of 9. It’s conveniently located close to some great restaurants, beaches and other activities, so that was awesome! The condo is dated and the kitchen and dining space is small. It was clean and pretty well stocked. We had an issue with one of the tv’s and they were out the next day to fix it. I would recommend but for a smaller group as the one bedroom was the loft which had no privacy."

"Tahoe Vacation
Would have been all 5 stars. Property a little dated but was clean and the location was perfect. Pool hours closed earlier than advertised but that's not the owners fault. Only recommendation would be to add a few more amenities for guests in the summer time like some beach chairs. The summer is beautiful at the lake and there are plenty of beaches where they would be useful. "

"Great stay in North Lake Tahoe
This is a great place if you want to stay at a cabin, but dont need a backyard and dont mind neighbors close by. Not too many neighbors and the loft upstairs was awesome. Beautiful area in North Lake Tahoe. Only thing is wish the owner provided cleaning supplies. I like to clean up after myself but there were no cleaning products like counter spray and no broom. Ive stayed at quite a few rentals and cleaning products are always provided. I had to buy my own and use a hand brush and small dustpan to sweep. Other than that it was a great place."

"Great stay!
The place was perfect for me and my family! It was a little outdated and the kitchen needs some additional silverware, cups, and plates. However, overall I had a great stay."

"We had a great stay
Arrived to a very clean, spacious, and modern rental. Fully satisfied and plenty of room for the whole family to gather around on Thanksgiving. Close to many amenities. Highly recommend to those looking to come up to the north side of Lake Tahoe. "

"Gathering for a Fall Wedding
The Condo was perfect for our families needs, clean, plenty of supplies so we could cook each meal, management was so helpful, we would return , No question about it"

"A Great Place to Gather in North Lake Tahoe
My family members from all over the country stayed in this condo for 5-6 days and loved it! We had a special family event to attend at the local regional park. This was a wonderful 'base' for us, especially because of the wonderful pool and pickleball court, both of which provided fun on either side of our scheduled event. I would return in a heartbeat, and hopefully will!"

"BIG ant problem and big ANT problem
It worked great to accommodate out large family. The beds were comfortable. Loved where it was located, and awesome walking paths. Its very outdated. Definitely needs as deep clean. The rafters, ceiling fans, and the décor was so dusty and cobwebs everywhere. It smells old and musty. The steep walk to the condo from the parking lot was too much for the older guest to tolerate, both up and down. The biggest issue for us, were the LARGE ANTS. They were everywhere, mainly the lower level. They were on the floor, furniture, walls and I had 3 of them, but one spider in my make up bag. They blended with the dark carpet, so you had to really watch your step. We bought some ant spray at the store, which help somewhat. None of us really slept well the first couple of nights, due to the ants. We called the management office to see about getting our money back or a different condo, but since we arrived on Sunday, the office was closed. Over all, its worked. We didn't spend a lot of time there, but not sure we would ever book this place again. "

"Had a wonderful stay!
Sometimes when you look at pictures of rentals they don't always live up to what you get in person. In this case this rental was better than we hoped! It was so clean and well maintained - a definite plus in this Covid era. There was plenty of room for our party of 11. We cooked a lot so the dishes and cookware came in handy. Lots of windows so we opened them in the late afternoon and a cool breeze came through. Loved having access to the washer/dryer and foldable wagon. Like a hotel stay you have your basics - toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, sponge, laundry soap to start you off. We loved the area and the amenities that the complex provided - the swimming pool was spacious and plenty of lounge chairs around. The grounds were in great condition and we even spotted a bear walking behind the complex. Just a few things to note - lots of stairs (not a problem for us), loft area is completely open to downstairs and maybe bring your own spices (few were left behind). The property management was easy to work with and answered all my questions in a timely manner. The Wi-Fi was a plus because cell service was hard to come by otherwise. There is a landline in the event you need it. We had no trouble getting around as the property is close to the main road. We were close to the Truckee river for rafting and we ate at Gar Woods one evening which was down the road. All in all we would definitely rent here again as we had a wonderful stay!"

"Nice townhouse very close to the lake!
We stayed here with 11 people--my parents, my sister's family of 6, and my family of 3. The house was clean, nicely furnished, well-stocked kitchen (we only ate out once the whole week and there were just 2-3 things we wished the kitchen had but it didn't). The community amenities are really nice; we enjoyed the pool, hot tubs, games in the lodge. We were just a 5-10 minute walk to the lake on a pebbly beach, or just a 10-15 drive to King's beach to go to a sand beach. One downside of going with a two year old was that the attachment hardware for the baby gates were not firmly mounted to the wall, so they were basically useless. Overall, a great place to stay--plenty of space and three full bathrooms but still very affordable. We really enjoyed our trip!!"

"Great Location!
The house is clean and has a lot of beds to accommodate my large family."

"A Cozy Stay
The overall stay was amazing. No complaints. I do want to mention to future guests to please, please ask for the refund policy before reserving. I feel like this property had a very strict refund policy. The overall process before my stay was frustrating. According to Airbnb, this property has three hosts who don't seem to relay information to each other. Therefore I felt myself having to repeat answers I had sent already to one host to another again and again. As a side note, I would recommend to the host to clean there vents for the heater. They were awfully dusty and in need of some cleaning. I hope I am not coming across as too critical, but I feel as though this feedback might help the host for the next guest. But overall, I was content with the amenities of the home and the location. "

"A week at a Carnelian Woods condo
A large condo in good condition. Comfortable furniture. Tv's worked well. Good customer service."

"Whispering Pines
Large condo with some quirks. Family, eating and kitchen areas roomy and nice setup. One bedroom with toilet seat issue. Another bedroom with super cramped toilet space - major problem!"
