Located at on Florida’s Southwest Gulf Coast. No bridges or causeways to the island exist, which ensures a relaxed, tropical vacation setting.
The island resort encompasses a two-mile portion of private, pristine beaches on the northern end of Palm Island.
Guests travel to the island via car ferry and park their car in our island parking area. Transportation is provided by our bell staff and golf carts are also available for rent for registered guests.
Enjoy access to one of the 5 heated pools, plus hot tub and gas BBQ grills.
Tennis courts available for play and always complimentary.
Our recreation center, Coconuts, offers a variety of rentals to include golf carts, bicycles, kayaks and beach umbrellas.

This is our 20th year coming to PI and I cannot tell you how many times in one year we have come.
It's our Paradise!
Best beach ever and the resort staff are beyond friendly and helpful.
Excellent Island to get away from a big city.
Enjoyed Hurricane's at the Rum Bay and a must is the Key Lime pie at Publix! Water Taxi to Johnny Liverrocks is our favourite!!
Villas are always immaculate and beautifully appointed. We have NEVER had a Villa that was not beautiful!!
No lack of shells on the beach.
This is not a vacay if you want crowds of people. The beach is yours and the sunsets to die for!

"Love Palm Island
Overall my Vacation rental was great. The Kitchen utensils could use a refresh they are pretty worn out and in poor shape. I know most people don't cook but we did make breakfast and one dinner and we just had to make due. Also the Grills outside would not get hot enough to grill a steak so we just finished it in the oven. Overall the unit was nicely furnished and very comfortable."

"A quiet retreat
We had a very relaxing time in our villa. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The beds were comfortable. Renting a golf cart made every day fun and we were able to explore the entire island. We brought our bicycles, which also made exploring the island fun. My husband and I enjoyed water aerobics and shelling on the beach. Sunsets were beautiful. The pool was absolutely beautiful and clean. The water was the perfect temperature, and I could stay in the water for hours. The staff was friendly and helpful. "

"Finally made it there!
We love this island/resort! This is our second time visiting. Our previous visit was too short so we planned for a full week. Check-in is easy. The grounds are clean. Our condo was clean. The hiccups we came across were - the tv in the main room...had to call maintenance to show us how to use it. The tv is the master was much easier to as it was cable verses internet tv. The closet door in the master and utility room had pull knobs that were stripped and at times frustrating. The washer and dryer was incredibly loud.

The restaurant was clean and food was delicious. We love the ice cream! And rented bikes and a Golf Cart, which was easy to use and if you want to explore the island you need to do this. "

"Pandemic Relief - So glad we went!
We have stayed at Palm Island before but it has been a few years. So when trying to decide if and where we would feel comfortable going for a long weekend during the COVID-19 pandemic, Palm Island was at the top of the list. We had much apprehension, but called and spoke to the folks at Palm Island to learn about their cleaning and turnover protocol. We felt confident that they were doing what they could to properly disinfect. We also brought our own cleaning supplies just so we had that additional piece of mind. The views are fantastic, the villa was nicely decorated and very comfortable. The beach was very secluded and the pool was not crowded at all. The other guests and staff were extremely courteous and respective of social distancing. We are hoping to make another visit in the coming months. Highly recommend."

"The perfect GETAWAY from it all!
We, with our children and grandchildren, enjoyed a fabulous GETAWAY from it all week! With the pandemic and needing to social distance, this was the perfect place to stay within our family bubble and relax and have some fun! We brought 95% of our own food with us. We also ordered Some delicious food from Rum Bay Restaurant, which is located right on the island. The beaches are absolutely pristine and beautiful! We all enjoyed golf cart rides looking for wild life,swimming in the sea as well has the resorts pools, fishing, shelling, walking and sunsets! Of course, we cannot forget to mention Pirate Red Beard! His stories are legendary! Thank you for a much needed awesome week for my family!"

"Great family get away
Unit is in a great location-easy access to beach, pool, bbq grills as well as island restaurant and activity rentals. Kitchen is nicely stocked and unique upgrades are well done. Great seating area on porch. Highly recommend! "

"If you want to get away, this is the place.
My wife and I wanted a place to just relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of life and that is exactly what we got.Our apartment was clean and close to the pool with an excellent view of the ocean beyond. We decided to rent the golf cart and what a difference that made. I would strongly recommend renting the golf cart to get around and explore.Other than pool and beach there is not much to do and leaving the island is an option but just make sure you get back before the fairy makes its last trip. "

"Nice Little Getaway
The property was mostly well-kept...would have been nice if ALL of the tennis courts were usable, and ALL of the pools had some shade. Could not use the beach because of Red Tide...lots of dead sea creatures on the beach. There wasn't much to do for the kids, since there were no children's activities scheduled for the weekend, probably because there were few guests with the Red Tide going on. Ferry was kind of a pain...not sure being stuck on an island is a vacation, as we enjoy dining out. The condo was beautiful, clean, and beach-themed. Lots of adult games, but nothing for small kids. Glad we brought books and toys for them. All in all, it was nice, but not sure we would do it again."

"Beautiful Two Bedroom Villa
While the Villa was beautiful, our stay on Palm Island was impacted by the Red Tide. We usually spend a lot of time on the beach, but unfortunately, we were unable to do so on this visit. We will definitely return to Palm Island and highly recommend this Villa."

"This resort is the real deal -- great beach, staff, and lodging
I scrambled to find last-minute lodging when a condo owner (Richard Kassar; North Captiva) sold his condo 5 months earlier but somehow didn't think to tell me until 19 days before our arrival (yikes!). Somehow I found the . I called on a Saturday night about availability. Marianne, the wonderful woman who helped me, kindly offered to hold lodging while I cleared it with the rest of my party. I booked 2 one-bedroom units (all that was available) and asked her to keep an eye out for a 2-bedroom so that we could all stay together. She did! That made our stay really magical. The villa was well-maintained, comfortable, clean, and was stocked with everything we needed. All of the resort staff (especially our bell guy Jimmie) were kind, friendly, and competent. I just can't say enough about how professional the entire staff are. After I made the reservation, I even received a call from the concierge asking if there was anything we needed. The beach is wonderful. A new sand bar to the north had great shelling (on par with Cayo Costa or Sanibel IMO) with lots of sharks teeth. We came from Cayo Costa where there were thousands of dead mullet on the beach, victims of red tide. We only saw a few at Palm Island. We were told that the resort staff had removed them. Based on what I had seen on Cayo Costa, that must have been a huge chore. I will return to on my next trip and stay longer. "

Outstanding facilities with a south seas island ambiance. Deb at check-in was very positive and made us feel welcome. Also,Jamie at Coconuts was very friendly, professional and provided us great service. Same for Dustin at Rum Bay. Only negative was the ferry service. A double ended ferry with one way driving straight forward and off with tug working along side would speed the process. Sunday service very slow."

"Beautiful area
Our condo at Palm Island was beautifully decorated and comfortable. While there was an ocean view, the ocean was a long walk away due to protected environmental lands therefore we didn't feel like we were oceanfront. The two biggest problems were the ferry and the noise from the condo above us. You must take a ferry to get on the island and we felt isolated as a result. You are given only one pass per day or pay $55. The condos , as beautiful as they are, have terrible sound insulation. Footsteps, snoring, etc were all heard"
